“No matter how excited I am, I will never buy here again. So unprofessional, lacks honesty and communication.
I bought a mattress from them online, it was in stock online. There was no update at all on my order unless I called. Days went by with no update, I called each they and they kept making promises with no effort to update properly. They promise 3-6 working days delivery, not true. I was told that the item I order was out of stock, however online it was in stock. They told me it'll take 4 weeks to arrive in the country, refund process is a nightmare taking 7-21 working days. Don't waste your time and money, save yourself from all the stress.”
“We have done an online order for a mini usb. We placed the order on the 13th July, paid the order on the same day.
On the 18th of July, we received a call (4 days after payment and order) that now you are out of stock. How can we place an order for an out of stock appliance?
This is false advertising and completely unacceptable. The lady who called us, wanted to sell some other cheap device to us, if we wanted something else then we would hve not ordered the one we did.
But I need an explanation to why we could still order when this item is out of stock.
Got a case number, but of course until now, no one had a courtesy of giving us a call back.

“I bought an Elegance 7 fin oil heater from Hifi Corp Cresta, which did not work. Took it back the next day and they refused to refund me, stating:
- Firstly, they did not have the cash on-site (R899), but I must come back in 4 days to get a cash refund. (?????);
- Secondly, they do not refund into a debit card, only a credit card (which I do not have).
When paying with a debit card, does that money not come straight from one's account? And if you do not have enough money in your account, the sale will be declined.
I then checked their website and found that their 'hassle-free' refunds policy states refunds can be made in to either a credit card or bank account. I asked them to refund in to my bank account. They initially refused (again), then stated I needed a bank statement!!!!
What on earth for??? The till slip states the date, the product purchased, amount and how it was paid (cash, debit card or credit card). The 'Manager' said to verify the account. I have never heard such rubbish!! If I provide the incorrect details in writing, that is my fault not theirs.
I have complained to Customer Care. Still waiting for the Manager to contact me. Been over a week now.”

“I have to agree with previous reviews, hifi corp is pathetic, and this from delivering the following day a year or so back, to now over 2 weeks to deliver. Funny thing is, Aramex has climbed on the bandwagon apparently and this is probably since complaints have escalated. The reason why I have my own courier account, to detract business from aramex and fastway as they are both bad excuses for delivery service and bring frustration to consumers. Unfortunately any supplier will be dragged through the mud, and some even have closed as a result of association with bad couriers.”

It's with great disappointment that I'm escalating to you.
I have received no feedback after 17 calls nor assistance with regards to my order placed and paid for more than a week ago.
Reasons for non-delivery from your customer service centre.
1. Order not yet received for delivery yet it was handed over on the 5th of April 2022.
2. Invoice was lost when freight was received from Polokwane.
3. Freight was already delivered. Why would I call and ask where the stock is if I have already received my stuff???
4. We have escalated to Senior Management and they are not responding to our query.
5. We can't give you feedback or track the delivery if Senior Management do not respond to our request to assist.
6. JD is not responsible for Aramex the courier and deliveries if we hand freight it's no longer JD's stock.
I need to understand what is happening here. You have my money I want my goods. Hanging up the phone on me when you hear it's my voice following up yet again is unacceptable.”

Hifi Corp are now try to cheat me with a story of the unit was tested and that is why there is water in it. What a lie (bu44$h1t story). They think I am an idiot. “WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. If u're planning to purchase anything @ Hifi corp, please do not do it online. I bought a fridge online on the black Friday special on the 26th of November, received a msg on the same day saying my fridge will be delivered on the 29th of November. It wasn't delivered. Got another 1 saying it will be delivered on 03 Dec, again never delivered. I made countless calls to them. At some point my order was "on the way" and eventually "my issue was being handled and was escalated to management". On Dec 22 I get a call from 1 of their agents saying they don't have that specific fridge in stock, they offered another 1. I finally got my fridge on the 28th of December. I don't know why their system does not pick up items that are not in stock because this is not the 1st time I purchased something only to be told it's out of stock. The only difference is they called and told me the 1st time, instead of lying for a whole month. Their customer service is the worst.”
