“Still waiting to resolve my issue with receiving 2nd hand goods. The warehouse promised to exchange but a week later I'm still waiting. Phoning is a complete waste of time as noone answers when transferred to "the correct department". Then I'm told by the receptionist she will find out and call me back. - still waiting. So sick and tired of wasting my time and money with this lot of couldn't cate less employees.

“Never agaon will I buy from HIFI Corp online.
I bought a wall fan that had obviously been a return as the packaging in the box was torn and the name plate had a dirty mark that was difficult to remove. They didn't have the courtesy to call me or contact me in any way. Then one fay a courier rocks up to collect the fan. No proor warning and no exchange unit.
I still have the fan as I wasn't going to return it without a guarantee that I would get a new one or get a full refund. In future I will stick with Takealot.”

After waiting 3 weeks for a television that was advertised on their website, I have spend hours on the phone with their customer service. Every time I spend 30 minutes, just to hear that ‘someone will come back to me’. Nobody ever does. They are advertising stock online of things that they do not have.
It is currently 20 days since I placed my order, I still have no tracking number, no feedback, no communication.”

I am scammed R2500 (order: 500348246) by this shop. The FALSE advertisement is still there on their website, and they keep on accepting money over products they don't have in stock, again they don't want to refund.
This should be reported to: (ADVERTISING REGULATORY BOARD) for false ads that are used to scam.
I repeat, NEVER BUY ONLINE STUFF FROM THIS SHOP.”
“I regret buying from HifiCorp...I bought JVC 55 Smart TV in March 2020 at one of HiFiCorp stores, which was also insured for 1 year however the TV is currently malfunctioning. Yesterday the 9th of September I brought back the TV at one of your branches and they said there's nothing they can do cause the warranty & the insurance was due in March this year 2021. It's only been a year using this TV and it's now dead.”

“I bought 2 x 7" tablets from them when I opened the box one was already set up and had a sin card in it, so I returned it as it is not new.
The store policy is that they do not do refunds on debit cards so the would have to give me cash to the value of R1599 but cannot tell me when and I should check in with them later.
I must drive 6km to check if they got cash and if not I must come back again.
The other thing is they are also not allowed to keep cash in the register so if I don't come at the exact time the money comes in they will put it in the drop safe.
So I did not get my money and they cannot care less because all they can tell me is that is the policy and than ignore me,.
I am not prepared to keep driving to hifi corp in the hope that my money is there. they not even prepared to call and say we have cash you can come.”

We bought a kettle at Hifi Corp Atterbury 6 months ago. Today, it just stopped working. We try to return it, just to be told that they dont return or refund it. It needs to be send to the supplier and then we can collect it again in 21 Days. Your policy SERIOUSLY needs to be revised as a matter of urgency - how can jou expect someone to be 3 weeks without a neccesity like a kettle and expect of the client to drive up and down where as its YOUR suppliers providing poor quality products? “I bought a smart tv I didn't take it out from the box waiting to buy dstv nd install everything at once, on the day of the dstv installation the tv was not showing pictures was showing a grey screen, I took it to the nearest hi- corp they book it for repairs when I call how do they repair something that I didn't use a brand new tv , instead of them giving me a new tv they repairing it even today they haven't given me a tv they told me that only technicians that will determine that the tv should be repaired
I can't buy a unit for R9000 before using it goes for repairs
