I do however appreciate some people absorb information faster than others! the course was too long, unable to fast forward, it seemed more like a complete course than a refresher. Try asking questions first with each module, then dependant on answers score, determine whether the module is necessary, thereby permitting a module to be skipped.

The course is a very in depth course and covers a lot of necessary topics in order to ensure that the learner has met the UK and EU legal requirements. I had some difficulties in terms of logging in to start doing the Courses but later on I contacted High Speed Training Staff and it was sorted out. Otherwise I have enjoyed the Training . Many thanks

Booked a test, before booking the test I rang a spoke with a man that told me this COULD go towards a CSCS Skilled labourers card! Took my time out and past the test when I went online to submit my score it didnt work. Rang high speed training who told me they have nothing to do with CITB and it wouldnt count! £30 out of pocket and 1.5 hours of my time wasted! thanks very much!

Simple and easy to pass but if advice was strictly followed a customer with an allergy would be killed fairly quickly. Advising storage and preparation of allergenic and non allergenic ingredients separately does not account for the fact that there are 14 allergens, that any ingredient has the potential to be an allergen, that each individuals allergy profile is unique and kitchens are likely to be dealing with multiple customers with different needs at once. For example if there is one customer with a nut allergy who chooses a wheat dish and another with a wheat allergy who chooses a nut dish the risk that their dish will be contaminated with a potentially deadly allergen is heightened by the fact that the wheat and nuts have been stored in the same area as allergens, both dishes are prepared in the allergy free area and with the reserved allergen free utensils (as customers require an allergen free meal). Even if the area has been washed and sanitised between use there is no benefit to their meals being prepared here, rather complacency may be encouraged by virtue of a special area for allergy free food. The only way this could work is if customers with any individual allergy were prevented from ordering any allergenic ingredients or there was a separate storage and preparation area for each individual allergen.

Speaking from experience and knowledge of the EA2010 and GRA2004 I think we are at odds with some statements. also your previous reviews are not connected to the course I just done. Also you failed to mention when reporting its not just HR but Trade Unions who are independent of the company (a lot of people would be scared to report to HR) and even the Police (if illegal)

The content of the course is very informative, its presentation is possibly the worst online course that I have ever completed. There is too much information on each slide and because the content is important, it would benefit from more than one voice. I ended up putting the sound on mute. I should emphasise that the presenter was trying to use emphasis and vary their voice, just too much speaking and no opportunity to ask clarification questions, etc. make it an uncomfortable presentation.

I am quiet shocked that they are supposed to train people with things like Equality & diversity and so other training courses, yet they used a muslim lady photo in a course for FGM and Forced marriage. now forced marriage might be an asian cultural thing but it is not an islamic traditions and that is a an error. Also FGM is a practice most popular in Orthodox Christian countries like Ethiopia and Eritrea. FGM is considered an african culture practice not a muslim religious practice. would suggest you take some training in equality and understanding cultures properly so you do not end up in framing or stereotyping incorrectly people who are different to you. it is also a good practice to hire people from other cultures or include them in your work before you imply any false image.
