“It's an expensive treat that turned up five days late. There's also a notice on site, after you purchase, to ignore the delivery times shown. Just delete them then. I won't be purchasing again.”

“I ordered this item for a Christmas gift , on the website the item I ordered looked of good quality and without hesitation I placed the order . When I recieved it wasn't as impressive for the cost . To be honest a little tatty As I had to send this gift to Canada I had little choice that to keep it and send it off A little disappointing ?.”

“A good concept but attention to detail and refinement is lacking. Follow up is very perfunctory and customer relationship is poor. It is transactional and there is no value assigned to repeat business. The so called "certificate" has been cheapened over the years, the personalized embossing on the high end presentation box is no longer available. This was a good concept but one that is now widely available from many other web sites in many countries. Try harder !”

“Very disappointed that the Hibs book I bought was surprisingly smaller than the previous Scotland, Rangers, Hearts, Man Utd, and Everton books I have bought from you. I certainly did not notice any warnings of this and I find the new size very difficult to read.”

“Product is Great, experience not so good. Ordered an urgent delivery that did not turn up in time for my dads 80th Birthday. Appreciate I ordered late, but I would expect a quicker service when paying for an urgent delivery. Still disappointed with your reply, my 'urgent' order was placed Friday afternoon not Friday evening as you have suggested. Customer Service disappointing & now misleading, your comments have been changed!”

“Sadly we didn’t get the paper we requested as was damaged but got offered another 2 brands which we picked one thinking they had been checked to get a message to say they was no use either. I’m glad they was honest and didn’t just post out the damaged paper but a little poor to still have them on the site when you can’t actually buy them. I also asked for a full refund as the date we needed was for a birthday and got no response wasn’t until I called it got put through.”

“Presentation and delivery all excellent however, my main complaint is that several of the photocopied newspaper pages are so small and the wording often so fragmented due to the poor copying process that the articles are impossible to read.”

“A great product, my father-in-law was really pleased but please be aware that production and delivery is very long. It took 2 weeks from ordering for the item to arrive which was very disappointing.”

“Had it not been for the fact that one was unable to add hyphens to a name on your online order form(my wife has two in hers!) I would have been very happy with this product and probably would have given you five stars. However on being promised hyphens would be added as a ‘one off’ I was most disappointed when the book arrived still with no hyphens. Please can you rectify your software.”

“Sent this to France as a Golden Wedding gift for my parents so I was really disappointed to find that the McAllen Gold had been substituted for another bottle. I notice this has occurred with previous customers. Incidentally the bottle received was an upgrade, was no complaints about that, just not gold!”

“I bought this presentation newspaper for my son’s 40th birthday. It came very quickly and my son was pleased. As it was a present and I didn’t see the item I can’t judge. I think it was expensive but ok I suppose for a special birthday.”

“My only problem was that the newspaper I wanted (The Times) was not available. I was then offered the Guardian only to be told that was. not available. Finally settled on the Scottish Daily Mail which was available but really not what I wanted. So a bit disappointed. Other than that the service was just fine.”

“The product was delivered quickly and was good quality,however, it was not what I ordered. After contacting customer service, I did get the money difference back between the price I paid for my original purchase and the one I received. I was disappointed not to receive what I ordered, but I was pleased it was dealt with fairly quickly.”

“You don't allow the sender to include a greetings message. My daughters had to guess it was me who sent the gifts. And the emails you send out are addressed to the recipient not the sender. You assume the goods are going to the purchaser.”

“Although the product is excellent, I found the website frustrating as I went to buy a newspaper with a bottle of whisky in a gift box, but as there was no facility for writing a gift card I put it on hold, in order to write to customer service and find out how to send the card. They informed me there was NO facility for a gift card, so although disappointed I returned to the site to buy with no gift card, but by that time the paper I wanted had gone! i ended up buying another gift product but this is a REAL fault that the business should rectify. If people are buying products which are advertised as gifts, there should be a way to at least tell the recipient who its from!”
