I just went with my dogs, I was told it was a pet friendly store. The Woodbridge, VA area one of the workers gave very dirty looks, I felt so unwelcome there so much for being a pet friendly store.

Well I do love going to hobby lobby and I always go to the hobby lobby in northport Fla but they didn’t have nonpareils I needed for baking so I went to the Sarasota store at 8195 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.I went down the aisle and got what I needed and there was a sign that said 50% off All Christmas items, so I grab 3 bags of the Christmas nonpareils and when I get to the register, the lady Victoria B said these are $9.99 I said no they are on sale for 499 and I showed her the online ad. She said no that’s only online then she was very nasty telling me that the nonpariels are an food item and are not on sale then a manager came over and he said yes give her the $4.99 price, I know for a fact that my store in northport has them for $4.99. I don’t know the woman Victoria B had to be so nasty, if it’s a “ Food” item would she eat a bowl of it for dinner? If she can not be nice to people she should work in the back room stocking shelves, where she will not see any people. I know I will definitely be shopping at my store. I will not go to that store again. I do love Hobby lobby, but it’s a shame that the woman is a nasty person!

I love hobby lobby for all my decor and crafting needs, HOWEVER, get with the times hobby lobby. Your cashiers are soooo slow because they have to manually type in every single item. I found they often make errors because of that, I had to correct my cashier the other day 6 different times because she would keep typing in $12.49 instead of $2.49...so on and so forth. Its time to update you cashier system. I promise you everyone would be happy.

Well, I was inline and was told by I supposed a manager that the lane was closed, so I moved to the first line and waiting, she then motion for two customers to come over to where she was, from the third line, she open up a register. I only had one item to finish my decorations, and she didn’t even tell me to come to her register. What I think should have happen, is when she told me the person on the register was closing(cause he had a customer to finish) then I should have been instructed to come to her register at that moment. I was not jumping line but she put me back two spots in both lines. With that said, I put the ribbon down and decided not to get it. The wait is always lengthy and to close registers when so many are Christmas shopping doesn’t seem wise. It is like this quite a lot in my area. Nice store but be prepared to wait in line and unfairly moved.

Very disappointed in my yarn purchased today 11/11/25, HL # 1671932 Yarn Bee (Dream Spun) lot #5050177. I just am starting to knit with it, and already have had 3 complete splits in the yarn. I’ve never experienced this with so many splits in the skein. Disappointed customer.

The employee Lesley at the Maple Grove store went out of her way to get me a chair as I couldn't stand any longer. I asked several employees were could I get a chair I needed to rest my back and all said none around. Lesley immediately said I'll find you one and proceeded to do just that, along with offering me information on locations of products which also was a very good help. It says a lot for someone to go out of there way to help others, along with supporting there place of employment and Lesley is very outstanding and should be recognized by her superiors and co workers. Once again thank you Lesley. Toni

I like hobby lobby but I feel they are just another business pretending to be under Christian umbrella.. most things they sell are from china which don’t even allow freedom of religion and they support them financially.. they should stick to their Christian faith and support where there is freedom to believe in God, stop playing with minds of the Christian community and okaying Christian card.

I have been to this location many times. As I love coming to this store either to shop or look. As of today there was an announcement over there loud speaker in the store about a sheriff to some staff person to take a call. As I thought that was weird and odd.. And then there was a staff person who always has his nose in the air walking around the store as that made me feel that uncomfortable experience. I left the store while I was looking at different items. Normally I would give this store a 5 star rating. But this time it's a 3 star rating. Not sure that I will be back.

I've shopped at Hobby Lobby for years. When there wasn't one in our city, I traveled to shop at their store in another city. Their service here has gone so far down hill. Never enough check outs, stand in line for ever. I order a lot of merchandise through a dept. and never had problems until now. Shifting help, dept. heads, no one knows anything. Very put out and a great let down. Merchandise in this dept. gets down to nothing before replaced. It tells me I need to seek out other suppliers of the type of merchandise I need. Shape up Hobby Lobby!!

I was being followed throughout the store and didn't appreciate it at all! The person who they hired was an idiot and made it blatant they were watching me! Why???? Because I have tattoos? because I'm a POC? Because I'm not a person of faith? I was NOT there to steal I bought some glue. I should be able to walk around a store and not be harassed!!!!

Not enough cashiers.. Waiting in 2 different lines because of pricing check.. a man cashier takes the person behind me and then states the person in front of you is almost done.. which they were not... was that suppose to make me feel better? What happened to next in line... Disappointing to say the least and the side comment didn't help matters....

I went thru checkout and when I looked at my receipt on the way to car I noticed I had been overcharged a little over $20. I went back in and yes she had charged me 19.99 each for two 1.99 items. So now I have to wait again in a long line to get my refund. I no people make mistakes but now I am the one that has to wait in a long line again because only one register does refunds. Well guess what lady in front of me has a no receipt refund. So they have to call manager. Well she took 15 minutes to get there after I had already been in line 10 minutes. Then the manager apologies to the lady that had no receipt. The whole point is I did not make the mistake so it should have been taken care of without me going back thru a long line. Customer service is supposed to be number one.

I have been going to the Seabrook NH store since it opened. Beautiful store. Very hard working people always courteous. It’s has not been the same for about a year. Shelves are empty. To much bed and bath products. Items seem to look junky looking. Not the same Hobby I remember. What’s going on?

I was ready to check out. One cash register was busy. I walked to a vacant register at the SAME time as another customer walked up to the busy resister. I was told by one of three employees, all chit-chatting together, that I had to use register one. As soon as I got in line, the employee who refused to help me walked over to the lady in front of me, who came up at the SAME time I did, to come to the other register and she would check her out. I laid my stuff down and left.

I love Hobby Lobby and as a Christian appreciate many Christian products. But I am really opposed to buying items made in communist China, & therefore limit my shopping there (it is nearly impossible to find anything not made by this repressive country). Please, Hobby Lobby, take a stand & . stop supporting this government. Thank you.

Hobby Lobby has been my 'go to' store. However, since the 40% off coupon was discontinued.....not so much. My husband will tell you there was always a large bag of treasures when I returned home. Not any more! The customer service has always been awesome!

I love shopping at hobby lobby. However, bring back the 40% off coupon because if something is not on sale then I have to wait to get it but with the coupon I could go ahead and get it.

I love the merchandise, however after shopping for many years, I find the managers are very unfriendly, the one presently in Janesville is VERY unfriendly and cold. Unfortunate, this is suppose to be a Christian based store, and now things are getting greedy, they no longer offer the 40 percent coupon... and not even a senior discount, a multi million dollar industry and they are taking away more. Michael’s, the other craft store is the only one to offer to seniors, which I will be going to a LOT more. Give your people customer service classes and if your managers keep up their demeanor, get rid of them and replace with helpful, friendly people

Beautiful items, however the Janesville store has the most rudest manager , middle age man, unfriendly, avoids customers, never says hello, and should NEVER have that job in a so called Christian store, he is awful and you need to get rid of him and put him in a kitchen cooking burgers
