The manager’s at the Chulavista store makes me UNCOMFORTABLE every time I shop there! I’ve shopped for picture frames and flowers, and I’ve noticed that I’m always always always been followed by the African American manager and the Hispanic heavy set manager in the glasses! This is truly EMBARRASSING TO ME! I AM NOT A THEIF! MOST OF THE WORKERS ARE THIEVES AND HAVE THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS COMING AND TAKING THINGS. I HAVE witnessed it many times, next time I’m going to videotape and put it on social media!

Very poor customer service. Waited in a line of 13 customers ( only 1 register open) only to be told I have to go to another line to make a return transaction. When I asked why other store associates weren't called to open more registers the response was " sometimes people won't come to open another register when called" really? Is that good customer service? I stood in another line ; the correct line I was told to complete my return. I have been a good and loyal customer to this Berlin, Vermont store since its opening but I can buy the items I shop for at other stores near me. I'm done with the disrespect I felt today at your store.

I went to buy a car charger and exchange a head light that only work for to seconds and shut off. When I stated that I wanted to exchange the head light, I was asked for my receipt. I told the guy that I don't have my receipt but it's in your computer with a warrant. A young lady butted in and said I have to have my receipt. I told her it's in her computer will you bring it up? Very un-corporate employees. I left the car charger on the counter and walked out for the last time you all will see me in the Georgetown store. They are not there to assist their customers/ME. The receipt and and the 3-year warranty is on file. They were too LAZY to look it up. My address and telephone are on file (UNACCEPTABLE). Thank you for your time!

I purchased a cotton candy machine at Mount Dora store for my daughter 7th birthday present, we tried to use it for the first time, the machine was not working. I bought it back to the store after two days I bought it. They refused to give me refunds or exchange it for another machine. I was very disappointed, although they saw my 7year old daughter was crying. They still kept her $90. I will never go back to that store again and make everyone I know stay away from that place.

Ordered models online and received the wrong models, contacted them and was told I didn’t read the small print and that they can change models at will. Nothing was offered no help, no refund no exchange. Stay away from these devils

I love Hobby Lobby and all the products they sell. However, I just came from the North Port store, and many customers walking the store around had their dogs with them. I am highly allergic to dogs and cats; just being in the same room with them causes me to experience severe allergic reactions. When I left the store, my clothing smelled like dog, and my eyes, arms and legs were itching. I do not understand why people have this obsession with having their dogs constantly by their side, totally disregarding the unfortunate ones (like me) who cannot be near them (not by choice). Sorry to say, but I will not be frequenting the store as much as I used to. I will need to stick to merchandisers with no pet policies in place (again, not by choice).

From the moment I walked into the store I was being followed and he made it noticeable. I felt very uncomfortable. This wasn’t the first time either. Next time I will be taking pictures and or videos the next time, well if I even go back. It was a very very creepy experience and he was dressed up like management. This was December 12,2023 between 2:30-3:00pm

I went to Hobby Lobby the first week of December. All the shelves in the Christmas section were EMPTY! What the heck! The only items left were dish towels. What a poor excuse for a store!

first time in the store and i was looking for gel pens. One associate was kind enough to show me physically where some where and then said there is more in the art department. I had no idea where is was i asked another associate and she said in the art department. This is the reason i order online and stores should not be open if they arent going to help customers!!!

Shame on you hobby lobby and your decision to exclude any holiday/ religion other than yours. With all the hate going on in the world right now, you are certainly a part of the problem. Doesn’t your religion purport love and acceptance, sadly your chosen policy goes against that belief. Shame on you, what a sad statement your organization is making. I will make sure to never shop in your stores, alert all through social media of your chosen exclusion of those with a religious belief other than yours and how your organization is part of the hate we are all currently facing.

Hobby Lobby has a wide selection of mostly cheap decor items imported from China, and some craft and sewing supplies. Their prices are reflective of their mass produced imported product lines. Two things really bother me. First, while Hobby Lobby overtly pushes religion, with kitchy little signs, Christian music and books, etc, they treat their employees with a shocking lack of basic human kindness. Case in point, I regularly see employees standing on very tall ladders, stocking heavy items on high shelves, with no safety rails at the top of the ladder, compared to the safety ladders you see at other big box stores. There is absolutely NO regard for the safety of their employees. Is this really WWJD? Secondly, Hobby Lobby was involved in a law suit in which they refused to provide health insurance coverage for contraception for their overwhelmingly female staff. To further illustrate the sexist point, I see no women in management positions. The men who comprise their management adopt a stance of grim overlord vigilance, while the female employees scurry around looking like oppressed underlings. It is shocking to observe this kind of antiquated sexism displayed in the year 2023. Promoting a wholesome image appears to be their aim, but religious hypocrisy and sexism are in reality the guiding principles at Hobby Lobby.

Line was open when I got in it. Got to register and staff said closing you can go to the next lane. 930am. It's wasn't like she was going home. Went 2 registers down and was messing with some paper. Could have check me out 1st. Needless to say I left without making a purchase.

Hobby Lobby might be owned by Christians, but the managers must not be. They will lie to their employees, not let them work in their designated areas. The managers make you work all over the store then get upset when your area is a mess because you were never in it. As a customer, I will never set foot in one again after seeing what goes on in a store. Plus, their merchandise is highly overpriced anyway.

I’ve never been the one to pull the race card, but yesterday I was racially profiled/humiliated/embarrassed. My son and I went to purchase supplies for his business at Hobby Lobby I paid for the supplies with a hundred dollar bill. The cashier instantly call for a manager. Manager took my money, to another register, came back to me, holding the hundred in the air, loudly telling me, she wasn’t gonna accept my money, because it wouldn’t scan, and I should maybe take it to the bank, maybe they will take it, maybe not, insinuating I was trying to pass a counterfeit bill. I politely asked her to scan it again. She then told me, that she couldn’t, because their machines wasn’t warmed up. “Make this make sense” 🤔 So that means, she never scanned my money in the first place. I then told her, to warm all the machines up and I’ll wait for her to verify my real money!!! She also told another employee that, I could say whatever, she don’t care. She totally embarrassed me in front of a line full of people. After her last statement, I told her to stop talking to me, and get to verifying that money. She then said she will take the money, only because she’s choosing to. Wow Hobby Lobby, in Cedar Hill, Texas store number 247, “Ms Marilyn” is a real racist!!!! Hobby Lobby need to get it together!!! 😡 I am a hard working, black mother, thank you for disrespecting me in front of my 15 year old son!!!

Hobby Lobby Christmas merchandise didn't have me in mind as I couldn't find any brown Santa Claus or Nut Crackers I was very disappointed. I haven't patronized this establishment since last year.

This is no longer an arts and crafts store. As cashier told me today they are becoming a four seasons store. Guess that means those after Christmas clearances are no more. ??? They reduced craft sections last year, again the first part of this year and I. The last 3-4 weeks even more home decor that is overpriced instead of craft stuff. No need to shop there for craft stuff. They only carry a tiny bit of their brand and it’s overpriced. Shame on you hobby lobby. You need to change your name.
