I made a bulk order of chunky yarn. Two of the skeins that I received had cuts in the skein. One of the skeins had a raw detachment about halfway through the skein. The second skein had a knot that connected two raw ends. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. I doubt I actually got a FULL SKEIN with these two defective skeins. Hobby Lobby responded to my concern telling me that cuts in their skeins are bot considered to be defective but just the way they manufacture the yarn. Obviously really poor manufacturing. This is not the first time that i’ve been blown off by Hobby Lobby’s customer service. They never take responsibility for a customer’s issue. They just pass the buck. Michaels is looking like the better place to spend my money.

Today I went to the one at Markam in Little Rock, Arkansas. I was buying 4 foam boards and 2 poster boards. The foam boards were $1.99 each. The price was not on the poster boards. So the cashier who was very nice asked another associate that had an IPad to look for the price. She couldn’t find the price and she just told the cashier to charge it at $3.50, which make no sense since the foam boards that were thicker were $1.99, so I told her I was going to go to find the price. Turns out that the poster boards were $0.99. If I would’ve accepted the price she gave without verifying, they would’ve charged me $5.00 extra dollars. It’s not the $5.00, it’s the fact that the associate did not go to find the correct price and instead she let me, the client, to go find the correct price. This only demonstrates how lazy she was. I left feeling very disappointed on their customer service.

I am disabled and went to the store in person. I could not find anything I saw online. Plus the aisles are too narrow for a wheelchair trying to pass another person. So I thought I would order online, but the shipping is outrageous with no options for free shipping. So I wanted to order online and have someone else pick up. But they don't have that option. Its too bad, because I really liked some things they carry. I guess I will just have to shop elsewhere.

I'm disappointed that you no longer have the sectional picture frames, you need to bring them back

I was under the understanding that they take personal checks nothing wrong with sending it straight through like Walmart I looked it up one line and it was said they did🫣 was not a good thing to find out after choosing products

what a nightmare! Every time I come to Hobby Lobby. The merchandise has been moved to different locations. The staff is rude and obnoxious. I asked if they sell tape for pleating drapes, since they sell drapery material. The clerk very haughtily replied that I must have th confused with Michael’s. No one to ask for where merchandise has been relocated. Bunch of unqualified people running around acting very important but no knowledge of their merchandise whatsoever. Obviously, customers are “Persona non gratis”

They post signs on shelves for discounts but the discount doesn't actually apply to many of the products. Any permanent price sticker marked "your price" does not get the posted discount

Anonymous …. staffer in custom framing was helpful to a point, then became condescending when I did not readily agree with her suggestions. She implied that I was taking too much of her time in thinking on my options. I should have taken my artwork and left the store at that point. I felt uneasy. I’ve learned my lesson and will not return to that store for custom framing. Collierville, Tn

I used to live in Shreveport, LA, and my experience with Hobby Lobby there was quite good. But I relocated to Dallas and for the past few months I have been going frequently to their newly opened store on Park Lane. Customer service is generally poor. The shop is understaffed and the staff are ineffective and not very courteous. As a matter of detail, much of my interactions have been with the framing department.

As far as art supplies go, Michael's has a better selection and higher quality merchandise than Hobby Lobby, especially for drawing and painting.

I think sometimes it’s misleading to have floral stems on sale and not other flowering stems. Why not lessen the confusion and make them all on sale or not…….. seems misleading

I asked many staff (6) where I could locate an item I was sent mant locations, 1 staff was a manager he sent me to the other side of the store & told me there were people over there that could help me. The 6th person finally took the time to TAKE ME to the item. Staff need more training on customer assistance, not telling people they don't know or sending people on a wild goose hunt. Shame on your management team for not knowing store merchandise.

I am a hobby lobby shopper. I used to love hobby lobby and word go any time I needs a cool gift. Lately I cant stand the store. You don't have any metal signs with the great sayings. To me it looks like a different store. Nothing good. Also hobby lobby always had something 50%off. Now Nothings 50% ONLY 40%. NOW Hobby lobby like just like every other store and I liked it when it had different things. Unique things . Fun stuff and fun gift ideas now nothing. Whoever is the store buyer has the say of what is trending they are off.

Please don’t ever buy the diamond art work kit because I bought one and it was missing colors and so I got another one and it was also missing colors and so that is going back for a full refund along with the 3rd one I bought because I’m afraid is not going to be all there either/gave up 😡

Had to return one item, and I had to stand in a long checkout line to do the return. A Employee was just walking around the front doing nothing.

I didn't have a bad experience at all. I love(d) my store when it was a CRAFT store. Why are you turning it into a homegoods store with all the cheap China imports? Bedsheets and dishes and all the same junk you can buy at HomeGoods right next door. Looks like the yarn selection is shrinking, too.

Your store says 50% off on items. Although if they say the word "gift" on the tag they are FULL PRICE. When you get to register they tell you that the item isn't 50% off due to this word gift. Not fair. Move the non sale items somewhere else. This is all new to me. I just said I don't want if full price. Management need to change this. Wonder how many people know this is going on?

What is going on at Hobby Lobby?! I have shopped at Hobby Lobby since I bought my first house in the late 80’s. For years I have had Hobby Lobby in my monthly budget - food, gas, clothes, utilities, HOBBY LOBBY! Today I went in there to find a gift for a friend’s birthday, and what a change! I had to hunt and hunt for anything good, it was so full of junk! All that kitchen stuff - I would go to a kitchen store if I wanted that! It looks like the inside of a Bed, Bath and Beyond and there is a reason why that store went out of business. No one liked it! I guess everything has to end, and today my love affair with Hobby Lobby died a fast death. So sad.
