Kristina and Ally in the Custom Frames Dept of Hobby Lobby Store at 1511 Woodruff Road Greenville, SC are AMAZING. They provided expert advise on selection of mat and then matted, framed, and installed frame wire for three pictures. The pictures look exquisite, and the experience working with these two store associates made the process so easy with a fond memory of their interaction.

I am an artist who has multiple mats cut weekly. The past few times I have gone to Hobby Lobby I have had to wait over 2 weeks to get the mats I have ordered. They tell me that they have to put out merchandise from the truck. I was very disappointed with their customer service. I retrieved my paintings and Michael's was able to cut them that day. I won't be back to the framing shop at Hobby Lobby in Johnson City, TN

1. Poor communication by first framing employee when taking order, resulting in mistake with final product. 2. Rudeness from second employee when brought to their attention and requested to repair. 3. Overpricing and hidden fees with framing. I will never use Hobby Lobby framing again. I will use a boutique framing service in my city known for excellent work and reasonable price.

I like hobby lobby but I feel they are just another business pretending to be under Christian umbrella.. most things they sell are from china which don’t even allow freedom of religion and they support them financially.. they should stick to their Christian faith and support where there is freedom to believe in God, stop playing with minds of the Christian community and okaying Christian card.

Sharon T (and her crew) in the frame shop at store 694 in Titusville, FL built me 11 ea. shadow boxes. They are great. The service was excellent and so is the art. Thank you!

CSM store front manager Mrs. Tina, McDonough, GA location, help me and assist in making my arrangement and vase with flowers and ribbons for my wife birthday party. Mrs. Tina made the arrangement so perfectly and beautiful that it made me smile and made my wife eyes lit up so extravagant and different from all other flowers I purchased over the years. I praise Mrs. Tina and if you need any assistance or professional advice for your love ones please see Mrs. Tina at the McDonough GA location and she will set you straight. She need her own business or run her own hobby lobby franchise and definitely she will have my services. Thank you and always help people when in need. You are bless and Thank God for you in Jesus name Amen 🙏.

Cincinnati Ohio Colerain Ave store - i recently had two pictures framed and the gentleman was extremely helpfull in picking out the frames and customizing the frames to our water color art work. They turned out perfect and the hanging hardware was expertly installed on back of frame. After I had them up and perfectly matched height wise, you guessed it, the boss wanted them swapped. I was amazed after I made the swapped the height was still good. Who ever wired up these frames really new what they were doing. Thank you Hobby Lobby for a job well done,

Michelle from the store in Layton Utah (1080 N Main St.) deserves to be recognized for her customer service. I had an issue with a purchase and she went above & beyond to solve the issue. She was polite, courteous and professional. Kudos Michelle!!

Went in today, 6/13/25, and a lot of the shelves were empty- like aisles and aisles. And there was Halloween and Christmas being put out! It’s only June!! And there were only 2 registers open and the lines were ridiculous. There should be summer items available and maybe put self checkouts in, since there was no cashiers.

I used to live in Shreveport, LA, and my experience with Hobby Lobby there was quite good. But I relocated to Dallas and for the past few months I have been going frequently to their newly opened store on Park Lane. Customer service is generally poor. The shop is understaffed and the staff are ineffective and not very courteous. As a matter of detail, much of my interactions have been with the framing department.

NEVER order online from them. They make returns not worth effort of cost. You have to fill out forms and mail it back yourself at your cost. The size of the box makes it ridiculously expensive as you CANNOT return to the store. Complete rip off. I will never buy anything from them again.

Great new Tribeca location.NYC needs a craft store that sells fabrics and sewing notions. Store is huge and clean and there are weekly sales. I meant just to browse but ended up buying stuff. The staff need better training, as they do not seem to know much about craft supplies. I asked 3 people about flatback rhinestone crystals, and not one knew what I was talking about. They need some kind of lookup system so staff can look up an item and find out where it is. It would boost sales. The Staten Island location seems to have more staff that care and know about arts and crafts. Employees at Tribeca location are sweet but seem clueless about craft items and don't really care to find out. I love the variety here and sales. I would shop here again.

I went to buy chain from the fabric section. The kind of chain that you buy by the yard. I like to make chain belts with them. So I like to measure it around my waist, so I can get a feel of how much I need and how it will lay. There were two ladies working the table. One was an older woman named Tracy and the other one I assume was training. The spool still had plastic wrap around it. So I asked one of the workers if I could take the plastic off so I could measure how much I needed. She told me “no” that you have to buy the entire spool. I tried to explain to her that you purchase it by the yard. She went to up to the woman name Tracy, and was told that you indeed buy it by the yard. They took the spool away from and gave me a tape measurer. Tracy then turned to her coworker and said “no one buys this stuff, it’s nasty stuff”. I asked if I could please have the spool back, because I like to measure it around my waist. Tracy then rudely said to me “What you don’t know how to use a tape measurer”? I explained my reasons, and then she gave it back to me, but made a show of being annoyed.

As far as art supplies go, Michael's has a better selection and higher quality merchandise than Hobby Lobby, especially for drawing and painting.

Bought 2 exact pictures, (wall art), but when I got home discovered one was protected and enclosed in glass while the other one wasn’t. I immediately drove back to the store and talked to an employee named missy. Explained the situation and she’s examining the picture not enclosed like it’s the Mona Lisa when she clearly sees it’s not enclosed in glass like the other one. She then said there’s dog hair on it (I don’t own a dog) and I’m not really sure why she even said that, maybe implying I’ve already used it and now want to return it. I pointed out my receipt in her hand shoes I bought it today at 1:00 and it’s now 2:15. I asked her if I had to stand in the long return/exchange line and she stated to get another one and she would do an even exchange. Unfortunately the pictures were all gone and when I came back and told her she said well you’re just going to have to get in line to return it and walked off. I would not write this review if she would have simply said I apologize for the inconvenience of having to return this. After I returned it I spoke to the store who apologized profusely.

I went to the East Lansing store today to purchase a doll house for my wife and the staff was so kind and supportive. I informed them I had concerns about getting this item home safely as it was raining. They proceeded in wrapping the doll house in plastic and assisted me loading it in my truck and I made it home without issue and my wife was very happy. I really appreciate the support I received from the staff at East Lansing Hobby Lobby location.
