Went to Canton Ohio Hobby Lobby today....I have always bought tons of floss here over the years since this store opened...I had over 100 regular floss.....which is usually what I purchase for projects...At the register, the cashier was confused about the floss...The manager and cashier spent over 20 minutes sorting thru the floss.....All the floss I get is regular floss, not special...I have always paid 0.51 per floss.....They spent all that time sorting thru floss that was all the same.......Apparently, the bands on the floss which give the codes all look alike....The cashier could not figure out the difference...neither could I....Never ran into this before....again, all the bands on each floss is the same....But, the manager was pointing out that on some, there are this tiny slight difference, etc....WHAT? So, another 10 minutes to sort and try and figure out the price....What is this??????? ALL THE FLOSS WAS THE SAME....but...now, the bands have this or that....You cannot see this.... so, I find out that most of my regular floss that I have been buying for years, is now $1.29 per floss...So, how is any customer suppose to figure out the price of floss???????!!!!!!!!!! Bait and switch here....I told the rude manager that I have never spent over 0.51 per floss before...She actually argued with me that $1.29 has always been the price...implying I am stupid....in fact, so stupid that I don't know the price I have paid for floss for years.....Really? I did not buy the floss...I can go online and pay less.....is Hobby Lobby now deciding that since Joann's has left here that they can balloon the prices? This is ridiculous.....I know so many people who buy regular floss...they are not going to buy it at Hob Lob.....shame on Hob lob.

The company makes it difficult and costly to return damaged goods that were ordered online. I ordered an ornate picture frame, 36”x24”, not sold in their stores. It arrived well packed but the glass was cracked. Their return policy: Damaged goods cannot be returned to my local store, I must repackage and ship to their return center, I pay shipping and they will not refund the original shipping cost. So I am out $60 for shipping, have no picture frame, and endure major hassles.

what a nightmare! Every time I come to Hobby Lobby. The merchandise has been moved to different locations. The staff is rude and obnoxious. I asked if they sell tape for pleating drapes, since they sell drapery material. The clerk very haughtily replied that I must have th confused with Michael’s. No one to ask for where merchandise has been relocated. Bunch of unqualified people running around acting very important but no knowledge of their merchandise whatsoever. Obviously, customers are “Persona non gratis”

(Benton harbor ,Mi) I went in for some frames because they were 50% off. It was a beautiful clear store. My cashier name was (Coco) she was very friendly and helpful & funny I will definitely be back again!

This review is being submitted for outstanding customer service in the framing department at the Ranch 1890 in Cedar Park, Texas. Raul works in the framing department (his manager is Gerri), and he helped me select custom frames for two pieces of art and framed the other art I brought in — in ready-made frames. He has years of experience working at Home Decor beginning in the 1980s. He explained how he created the Prototypes for frame displays for in-house displays and at trade shows. He also created art and lettered signage for the company—before computers—as a decor consultant for advertising and marketing at trade shows. I highly recommend him for inclusion in your monthly newsletter—employee spotlight. Hobby Lobby is lucky to have him working in the frame department. He made the selection process seamless, and I’m thrilled with the new art.

Although this establishment has a great selection of crafts that are fairly expensive and employees that are generally kind, behind the scenes the workers get treated very, very poorly. I had a relative work here who didn’t receive proper training, was thrown in without any idea what they were doing, treated unkindly by managers or other workers with more experience, and not given any days off work. They were also expected to stay overtime often when they were not available. Overall, it’s sad how the people who make Hobby Lobby function are treated so bad.

Danielle 💕at the Richmond Aliana store was fantastic! She had great proactive ideas and helped to ensure I had everything I needed. She confirmed prices and even celebrated with me over my savings! Thank you Danielle from one very tired but satisfied cake decorator! ❤️

They post signs on shelves for discounts but the discount doesn't actually apply to many of the products. Any permanent price sticker marked "your price" does not get the posted discount

Had wonderful service and received helpful ideas from staff member Ms. Sue Owens in the fabric dept. Very pleasant woman and saw her being kind to all her customers. I will be stopping by fabrics again for her assistance.

The employee Lesley at the Maple Grove store went out of her way to get me a chair as I couldn't stand any longer. I asked several employees were could I get a chair I needed to rest my back and all said none around. Lesley immediately said I'll find you one and proceeded to do just that, along with offering me information on locations of products which also was a very good help. It says a lot for someone to go out of there way to help others, along with supporting there place of employment and Lesley is very outstanding and should be recognized by her superiors and co workers. Anonymous …. staffer in custom framing was helpful to a point, then became condescending when I did not readily agree with her suggestions. She implied that I was taking too much of her time in thinking on my options. I should have taken my artwork and left the store at that point. I felt uneasy. I’ve learned my lesson and will not return to that store for custom framing. Collierville, Tn

The last few times we've been in, including last night, August 12, 2025. store #527, We were 9 th in line. One cashier, with another employee standing looking at the line. We stood there 20 plus minutes with no movement. We finally put our item down and left.

Employees Ginger and Tom at store number 0270 in the custom framing department went above and beyond my expectations and made my experience most pleasurable and more importantly my artwork most presentable. They didn't rush me making my decisions and seemed genuinely interested in my project and gave their honest opinions about what they felt looked best, which I appreciated and my project turned out better than I anticipated and was very cost efficient due to their help. I will definitely go back there whenever I need anything in the future.

I am very pleased with exemplary customer service I received from Robert Figiel @ the Bloomingdale Store #570. Robert was extremely helpful with my custom framing project. I had six (6) large original prints from my personal travels abroad. Robert's guidance and consultation was greatly appreciated! He was very knowledgeable of the framing products and has a keen eye for detail and design. He kept me informed of the progress. He made the process fun and stress-free!! I went to Hobby lobby in Medina and there were two cashiers, and everyone was in one line so I went to the other cashier that had no one in line. She told me that she was pulling people from the one line that I’ve been waiting after I left and said OK, she proceeded to allow other people to cut the line so she was choosing who she checked out and allowing those people in the one line to wait even longer.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Research Hobby Lobby. I was greeted warmly by Habibe and she also helped me picked out a few items in the floral area to spruce up my house. I was so impressed by her professionalism and expertise. She is a gem!
