"\u2b50\ufe0f 2\/5 \u2013 Disappointing Stay and Poorly Equipped Kitchen\r\nWe booked this property for a joint 80th birthday celebration for my parents with 16 of us staying, but it didn\u2019t meet expectations. On arrival, the bedrooms weren\u2019t arranged as requested, and the property was advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen for 21 people, but this wasn\u2019t the case. The kitchen was badly equipped, with not enough glasses, many utensils and pans in poor condition, and it would not have been possible to cook a full meal. During our stay, the ceiling in the downstairs toilet collapsed \u2014 thankfully no one was hurt, but the caretaker\u2019s response felt dismissive once she knew no one was injured, and we were left without a usable downstairs toilet for the rest of the weekend. These issues combined made for an inadequate and disappointing stay."

"This is an ideal hideaway for those who want peace and quiet in a beautiful nature location. We had both wet and dry weather and when the weather is inclement, there is a swimming pool and spa included at the nearby farm."

"Painting needed in bedroom and living room area, right hand side of bed bottom cupboard door doesn\u2019t stay shut.\r\n\r\nApart from that its perfect location, very clean, has everything you need bedroom, living and kitchen wise.\r\nLove that theres Wi-Fi and smart TV to relax in evenings after long hikes.\r\nEasy to walk from Easdale to hikes and public transport is easily accessible 8 minute walk away and round corner from all the shops in Keswick. Lovely views from windows, considering its central it\u2019s nice snd quiet. When I struggled with the door key the customer service was excellent and very helpful. \r\n Super comfortable and big bed too. Could maybe do with a bigger sofa to stretch out on.\r\nI\u2019ll definitely be booking to stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay at Glendene, the house was clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. Located on a very quiet street with more than ample parking. The photos of the garden don\u2019t do it justice - it was beautiful! The owner couldn\u2019t be more helpful and communication was brilliant!"
