Great customer service from David, with the best prices i could find online. Booking and paperwork sent immediately, with no hassle, and you're able to call and speak to Holiday Gem without going through 100 options. I will definitely be using Holiday Gem again.

enjoyed my stay at this hotel the staff were very professional and very helpful with the information as required the canteen staff were great and polite will recommend this hotel to other people will use this hotel again in the future

Mr Dewan we sympathise that you made an error when booking and there were repercussions that involved costs but you did agree to our terms online when placing your order and they clearly advise commitment to suppliers is immediate. The review request is automated and we are sorry if this has upset you but which appears to be frustration at the stance we have to enforce and can legally do so in accordance with the contract between us accepted by you.

I have booked with holiday gems many times and will book again for my third holiday if price is good which and if not look at there other holiday agent destination 2 .the only problem is they never look after repeat customers not matter how many holidays you book you won’t get nothing.

Really happy with the price's, straightforward to book online. I can pay off in installments which is really good. But gave a four star because after I booked, my hol. I was called, to say flight had gone up by £12 each & I needed to pay more money. It wasn't much so am glad of that. But it all adds up, with the VAT & with every payment you pay abit more. Was a little bit disappointed with that. What you pay for should be the actual price. There was abit of a issue trying to get flight details on Ryanair apps, I ask the travel agent guy what was the email address flights was booked in, & he said it's my email address. But I knew it was a email address Holiday Gem uses for flight details. I called Holiday Gem the next day & my email for the flight details was given for my Ryanair apps. So everything was sorted in the end. I would definitely use holiday Gem again to book a holiday up to know fingers crossed everything goes ok!

I booked a weekend break and paid upfront. I received a call the next day asking for £45 more each per person if we wanted the hotel I had booked. I found this really unreasonable to be honest. I have gone with an alternative hotel, but it's not what I booked and paid for.

Not happy they keep calling once you've looked on line then when you book they put the price up and then to top is off after you pay your deposit you get a email saying about 10 days later they will debit your account half the remaining balance

Mr Naylor we are sorry if you felt our calls were unwelcome after you placed your booking online on our website. The purpose was to make you aware that unless arrangements were secured, the flight and price could change or become unavailable. The price on the website is clarified in the terms you accepted and an offer to purchase the Package Holiday selected, if it is available. If the arrangements are not available because other customers have taken advantage and the lower price offer is exhausted, you are informed of the next supplier price. The deposit was paid under a payment plan agreement and the terms of that advised to you. If you did not wish to use a plan, we state that bookings made via the Website must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Otherwise we offer the plan to enable you to take advantage of spreading the deposit payment and you chose to do this.

I booked my holiday online with Holiday gems after booking with On the bech pying up front for full holiday then getting cancelled next day because they needed 400 pounds more. Whilst waiting for them to get back to me i found Hidden Gems. My original holiday was 2241 pounds, next day after the On te Bech cancelation it was 2670 pounds. So Hidden Gems offered me the same holiday online next day at 2640 pounds. I wasn't completly happy to buy as thought it was a bit expensive but i booked it and thought that was that.Next day the phone call from Hidden Gems, it was costing me another 160 pounds. i just feel that these agents are ripping us off, like the energy companys. I also wont fly with Ryan Air again, as your flights quickly double in price aftrr cases, picking seats etc. Not happy with any of the 3 companys. A hard lesson learned

Mr Cunningham we are very disappointed to see this review since you made your booking online on our website and would have seen the terms and conditions plus how the booking system works. It clearly says you are making an offer to purchase the Package Holiday selected, if it is available. This seems to be the same way that other companies operate. If the arrangements are not available because other customers have taken advantage and the lower price offer is exhausted, you are informed of the next supplier price. We are sorry you also did not realise about the low cost carrier Ryanair and how they operate since you had chosen them for your booking and we would expect customers researched before proceeding to book.

Was very disappointed when contacted to confirm booking, apparently room wasn’t available with the supplier specified so had to pay an extra £57 to get a room at the hotel we wanted. My brother & his wife had booked an hour after me and they got the holiday at the price quoted, don’t know how this happened. Overall not pleased with the outcome of having to pay the extra

I have used holiday gems on and off for over a decade now and at the start they couldn't do enough for you but as the years have rolled on the service has become worse to the point our last holiday in Fuerteventura in June this year our flight was cancelled 48 before our return home, I spoke with holiday gems and basically left us to fend for ourselves whilst abroad, that certainly isn't good, just booked another holiday this coming Jan 2023 as a family Christmas treat in the Canary Islands, 6 of us, we arrive on the 14th for 7 nights but they had us arriving and leaving on the 14th, 3 hours apart, flights,hotel and taxi all booked wrongly, pls pls pls improve........

A very friendly company and very reasonable price. We could find exactly the holiday we wanted and had a call to confirm that all had been booked. Communication was very good and answered any questions we had. Would certainly recommend and use again.
