“The holiday advertised was not a live price so I was contacted after purchasing the holiday and asked for more money as the flights were more than what I was told when I bought the holiday . This was not made obvious on the website and the person I spoke to on the phone did not seem to grasp why I was not happy with the service. He was friendly and gave me advice on my holiday destination though”

This appears to be an online order and no payment is taken when the order is submitted. The website gives full information of the process on every page of the order and this is reiterated in the Terms and Conditions to which you agreed when submitting the order. Once orders are received by our office, should we not be able to honour the booking at the web price we will call the client to offer any suitable alternatives which is then up to the client to accept or not. No payment is taken until our client agrees to the new costs. A pre-authorisation only is held, and released immediately if no booking is confirmed. Thank you for proceeding with the booking and we are sure that you will have a great holiday

“We were really satisfied with the service we got today from booking our holiday with Holiday Gems. Nathan was our advisor and he was very pleasent, he listened to our needs for a larger group, he worked hard to find us a good deal, for the hotel we were hoping for. We would highly recommend the service.”

“Very happy with holiday gems. I’m a returning customer. Have used holiday gem for 8 years now. Always very pleasant and helpful advisors. Nathan tonight was very helpful. The only reason I won’t give 5/5 is the cost always changes. Other than that, faultless. Thank you.”

“Nathan was very friendly and willing to change my hotel which l booked in error. He also got back to me to confirm the booking. I asked Nathan several times about booking my hold baggage but he said he did not know but would find out. Unfortunately this information was still not forthcoming so l asked again and he said he would send details with my confirmation email. This was not the case and l still need to book hold bags but don’t know how to go about it or how much it’s going to cost? Please send me details so l can book it. Many Thanks.”

“I booked online, and was told I would receive a call within 72 hours. I was called back within half an hour. Stuart was really helpful and explained that the pricing could change because of live pricing. Was a little shocked at first how much it suddenly went up, but in the end, he explained the reasons. All in all I managed to get the holiday we wanted. Many thanks David”
