We have 3 closet organization systems installed. HD did a good job installing the system but did not return the baseboard shoe molding to it original state. There were 3 broken shelves in the master closet. The company sent one shelf that was too long. I called several times with no response. If you have issues, don't expect follow-up.

I’ve been dealing with Home Depot for months now. All I wanted was an invoice broken down into why they are charging me what they are, on top of the full installment, I already paid. I spoke with Elana at the West Lebanon, New Hampshire, Home Depot and she was extremely rude saying that that is not how things are done. All I wanted is a proper invoice and then she continues to be rude and then she hung up on me, not sure whether I’m gonna pay this bill or not, I will never work with Home Depot again on a project. I had already paid $6000.00 and they want another $1500.00 for $2 underlayment and 20 minutes of labor.

I ordered a vanity from Home Depot in July for delivery on 08/14/24. Construction on my bathroom begins on 8/15/24. No problems were mentioned with the order until I went to check on the delivery on 08/14/24. The Home Depot site says it is on backorder. My blood pressure is through the roof. Construction starts tomorrow, my house is full of construction material, and Home Depot has left me hanging in the breeze - now, I'm going to have to scramble to resolve their screw-up.

Some items in my latest order required a delivery charge even though they were in stock the same as the rest of the items in my local home depot. The only reason for this would be to cancel the free delivery option. If I have to buy my supplies in person I'll use the other hardware stores for building and gardening supplies.

Their website really needs to explain when you select delivery. Delivery is assumed to be delivery from home depot not ups. Some how in check out it should state your item is coming not HD but UPS. We were shocked to get a shipment notification instead of a delivery notification. My husband is 70 I'm in a wheelchair. How are we supposed to get it in the house? We chose delivery for that reason so a Home depot rep would be bringing it in the house. Not dumped at front door. Also filled a customer support form out and have been totally ignored. Will see hope it's not damaged by ups.

I understand I am not responsible for my husband bill. I needed his permission to talk to rep. I did a three way call to my husband and it was decline by rep! Why? He can verify his DOB & SSN! I don’t understand this rule you have! It was my husband on the phone! Now mind you, the lady was nice about it! Your rule is stupid!!!

Bought a prehung french door, then called to purchase installation. They came out, took measurements and said call us as soon as the doors get here. Called to set up install, they have no work order or anything about our install even though they already an came out for measurements. Now they are not going to come out and install the doors. Because they have no work order. Why have a third party install when there is no communication between them. Now I have to find someone to install....

In store is generally okay, but getting online orders from stores is a major challenge. I have twice complained to the CEO via email.

We'll I guess after receiving most of my online orders from Home Depot on time. I guess it was time to have a extra week delay. I got half my order so if it was 6-Stars I could do 3-star for half delivery on a two part order... So 2⭐⭐ until the other part finds it's way???

I returned a plant with a receipt and was told that I needed to find another plant for the same EXACT amount to exchange. There was only ONE plant for that exact amount. I even asked to pay Xtra for a much more expensive plant and was told NO. I find that policy outrageous!

The people are not knowledgable and their prices are too high. A bag of mulch $3.57 when I was paying $1.68 3 years ago. I'll buy buy as much as possible from amazon. Prices are more reasonable and don't have to drive.

I bought a frig snd washer and dryer. The frig arrived dented near where the mechanics in the back of freezer is. When I bought them I showed them s picture on my cell if my washer and dryer set up. They said it would be fine to install. It wasn’t. I had to call someone to unhook the gas. Then they came back snd hooked up. Then the guy had to come back snd finish. This all took weeks. I will never buy an appliance there again.

Klamath Falls store: I prepaid for an order of plastic pipe to make sure they had it in stock and wanted to make it a quick stop on our way out of town. (We live 2 hours away.) I placed the order on Wed, knowing it needed to be picked by the following Tuesday. When I stopped to get it on Friday, I had to wait in line for at least 20 minutes. The first person who tried to help me couldn't find my order in the staging area, so she asked someone else who also went to look for it. When a 3rd person couldn't find it, I was told it must have been ordered more than a week before and was put back in stock. Not the case! Finally, someone fixed the problem by going to the other end of the store and bringing me the 10 lengths of pipe I had ordered and already paid for. This store needs someone in charge who can organize the process for order pickups and make it more efficient. I wasn't only one who had to wait in line for almost an hour at the customer service desk. Lot of dissatisfied customers and a huge waste of everyone's time--including the hired help.

Tired of being profiled and followed around like we are crooks. We are retired seniors so what gives? Are you hearing rumors or are you making them up as you go? We live a distance from the store so when we get there we usually have to pick out items from several locations. More workers around when it`s game time but not so much when we need help. I shop with a specific list and get done as quick as possible. Would buy more items if we could shop in a friendly store. You might increase your sales if you let people look around in peace.

The customer service at Home Depot in Irving is atrocious; no matter how many times we request assistance, nobody ever responds. No trained people in Painting and lumber section. The lumber cutting machine has been out of commission for some time, and the manager's explanations are inadequate. Despite the fact that Home Depot is close by, I started going to ACE or Lowe's. The store will be closed, and Home Depot will already be losing its reputation if it keeps losing all of its customers.

I love Home Depot and have purchased my Christmas tree there for many years. Their prices remain reasonable where others have overpriced them tremendously. But this year the trees are way less quality than before. They’re trimmed to pencil-thin status and those of us who prefer a fuller tree came out pretty disappointed. I truly hope this was a one-year problem. Please give us a variety like you always have.

Home Depot needs to set up an email for problems with online orders. Of 3 items 1 did not arrive. The tracking said shipped and there it sat, not arriving. Tried the text option to check. Typing in all the info was a pain. they said they would get back to me about the order within 24 hours and never heard a thing. The next evening I called the customer service number. After pressing all the proper buttons, giving my order #, confirming my name, address, phone number trying to give the information. Problem was they also had the wrong tracking on the packages, so while I received one item the tracking showed I didn't and the other item I didn't receive tracking showed I did. I explained this to the service rep. He then looked at the tracking and told me I did receive the item I was saying hadn't come. Did he not listen to what I had just explained? As he seemed very unable to help me I asked for a refund for the missing item. He typed a bit and told me I would have to put in a charge dispute with my bank. Why would they not just refund my credit card? Must admit by 25 minutes on the phone I had lost patience. Asked for a supervisor. The phone sound cut out several times while on the phone, did it cut out again when I asked for a manager? Then it went to the survey. I called back again, went through everything all over again. This time at least I had someone who understood the issue and tried to help. So after 75 minutes between the texts, and 2 phone calls, I may get my refund after the item doesn't show up in 3 more days and when I take the other items back to the store. I did not enjoy spending an hour on the phone after a long day at work. Home Depot do better. I searched for an email address without success. With an email I could have typed everything in, in 5 minutes and waited for a response. I will not order from Home Depot again unless they get a better system if there are issues with an order.

Shelves were unorganized, empty, equipment in aisles, out of stock items just to name a few. There were no checkout except at the lumber section. Self checkout with disinterested employees. My last time at Home Depot.
