we bought from this company a cabinet and they supposed to deliver it in 2 to 10 days according to their site. 15 days after that and we still waiting to get the item delivered , they do not commit to any day and on every phone call they promise that we will get it the week after. Unfortunately we paid for the product in advance and now refuse any refund . Please be careful

Please think hard and long about buying one of Matt Sylvester homes. You will have a lot of problems with your home. Mr. Sylvester is a wrong person, and he doesn’t do his job.

Avoid at all cost ,ordered a table ,paid for it sept 27 /2023 , well its been, middle of oct not in stock yet, should be middle of November ,another email no show ,might be middle of December , another no show , i ve rang and get, might be January, still no date ,loosing all hope , this was a special xmas present ,they take your money and well , i cant ever see getting the table , i ve emailed ,spoke on the phone,just keep getting put off with another date ,so its a deadline now ,jan 5th ,then if no show, i ll cancel and ask for a full refund, what hassle and palava ,if you cant get the table refund me and stop making false promises ,this is a joke ,and i just hope i get my refund after 5th January ,or its going further ,ombudsman and customer rights ,not happy ,Re: WEB319778 this is my reference

Tried to order two chairs only to be told that they don’t deliver to Anglesey. I asked if they’d deliver to Cornwall and they said yes. This is discrimination as Anglesey is classed as mainland U.K. you don’t need to get a Ferry or pay a toll to get here!!!! It also takes less time to get to Anglesey from Middlesbrough than it does to get to Cornwall.

This is a terrible company I had a long battle with them over lies on goods ,damaged goods taking all my money up front 3,000 then no after sales it's the same people ,they all have different stories,stay clear avoid they are a bad bad online company

These are the worst company for taking your money and not giving any after care that's even before you get there broken goods ,avoid this company if you value your sanity,I chased them all the time for there misleading sales sorry it's not letting me upload pictures could be my phone but I have plenty

TERRIBLE COMPANY IF YOU NEED TO RETURN AN ITEM THEY ARE WORSE THAN USELESS! THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG ADDRESS TWICE TO RETURN THE FAULTY ITEM AND CUT ME OFF FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES TOO MANY TIMES TO MENTION. UNFRIENDLY UNHELPFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISORS. I HAD TO REPORT THEM TO AMAZON TO GET MY MONEY BACK AS THEY IGNORED ALL OF MY MESSAGES. BEWARE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD

Awful experience will never use again, bought a item from this company arrived 5 weeks later after a long wait item arrived damaged in a few places & very bad quality overspray everywhere, I then contacted them to collect the damage item, they took a month to arrange collections after collecting the item they are still telling me to wait 10 working days to check the item. Terrible experience they should be closed down.

I placed an order on 15 September 2022 for a complete set of bedroom furniture. The description led me to believe it would be around 2-3 weeks for delivery. This cost me £2,486. I rang up on 26th September to request a rough delivery date, to be told all items would be coming in at different times between the end of November to the middle of December 2022!!! The following day (20/09/2022), I emailed to advise I wished to cancel the order. I followed this up the following day, due to not being contacted at all about the cancellation. I was informed I would receive an email with 24 hours. I did receive an email offering me £250 cashback to keep my order going. I emailed asking the terms but then changed my mind so emailed saying no and that I wished to still cancel By 30/09/2022 I had not had a reply so I rang and was told it was my fault because I had emailed more than once, sending my email to the bottom of the pile!! I cancelled by phone and was assured my refund would be in my bank account within 10 working days. So, 14th October arrives, no refund. I rang them at 8am and was told it left their account the day before and would be held in the banking system.and it would be with me by the end of the day. I rang my bank (Natwest) and they could not see any money from HomeDirect365. So around 3pm I called HD365 extremely annoyed. I wanted to speak to someone in charge but was fobbed off that they were all in meetings but was informed that they money had left their account at 9.25am that day. By now I was libid as this had changed considering they told me it left the day before. I was told it was with my bank and it was them who were holding on to it. So, I ring natwest again and was informed that this is not how they operate and any refund would be put immediately back onto the card it had debited as soon as the money left HD365 account. So ANOTHER call. This time I spoke to a manager (who actually answered the phone so was not in a meeting). I was informed they were onto their merchant bank (Paypal) who themselves had caused the problem by sending the money somewhere which was holding it until 20th - 25th Oct. I explained that I had no money to go shopping to feed my children as I was waiting for this money which I should have received that day at the latest so could they do an immediate bank transfer to me for the full refund and then take the matter up with PayPal and have thr mo ey diverted bank to their account. They point blank refused to do this. So, here I am on thr Sunday afternoon. Still no money and the chukdten and I have had to eat what we could muster together from tins of food and anything in the freezer. This is totally their/PayPal fault and they could not care. I will have to start again tomorrow phoning them and trying to sort it all out again, just to get MY MONEY BACK. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! THE DELUVERY TIMES ARE NOT WHAT IT STATES ON THEIR WEBSITE AND IF YOU CANCEL, YOU WONT SEE YOUR MONEY AND WILL GO THROUGH A LOT OF STRESS TRYING TO GET IT BACK!!! ABSOLUTE COWBOYS WHO SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!

I brought this bed. But after I have found out it does not come with legs or fixing brackets. I went through customer services and apparently this is the design from the manufacturers. The base of the bed is directly on the floor I have told flooring so it will make it impossible to clean the floor with the hoover and mop. Such a very bad design !!!

Sad to report a very poor experience. I ordered a 'Telephone Box' display cabinet for my office on 1st June (for, an not inconsiderable £464.99), having spoken to them and been advised they had one in stock. The item arrived on 27th June. On opening the first (of two) boxes, the first think I noticed was huge quantities of 'MDF' dust. As I took the components out of the box however, I was shocked at the quality. The inside of the top of the 'telephone box' was covered with white mould. There were chips and marks which had clearly been there prior to paint. Additionally, there was paint overspray - red paint on white areas! The base was seriously damaged - broken but again pre-paint and there were chips and nicks, all pre-paint on the base and shelves. I called Homesdirect365 within a few minutes of the driver leaving to report this and was told I needed to e mail in with photos, which I did, requesting the collection of the item and a refund. I then received an e mail advising that they could collect and replace the item mid August. I advised that this was not acceptable. I wanted it collecting immediately and refunding. I received another e mail advising that Customer Care would be in contact to 'go through this' with me within 24 hours. I received another e mail again advising that collection would be arranged 'on the next available delivery date' and a replacement delivered once they had received stock. I advised that this was not acceptable and that I wanted it collecting and refunding - also advising that the Distance Selling Regulations entitled me to reject and have a full refund. Eventually, they offered me a collection date two weeks hence, and will 'start' the refund process once they have it back. This is totally unacceptable. They are only 10 miles or so from where I live so must have vans passing regularly - and I don't recall them saying I could start the payment process once I had received the goods. It is clear there is no quality control. They are obviously just getting items in and sending them out unchecked. It is also clear that there is no customer service and they seem hell bent on keeping my money for as long as possible. Steer clear of these guys!

Please do not buy from them, they take your money but do not provide a refund when you decide to cancel sale and try to say that they have sent request to supplier so need to refuse delivery. This is rubbish as my contract is with homes direct so if I decide to cancel then they should proved a refund. Under the consumer contracts regulations I have a right to cancel an order straightaway and I don’t have to wait until I receive delivery of the goods and homes direct should be providing the refund so please do not take the risk of buying from them, there are a number of really good online companies that treat their customers well and follow the regulations I don’t want this to happen to anyone else so will continue to write reviews and highlight them on twitter, Facebook, I have also contacted BBC watchdog This is the reply I receive so do steer clear from them as they do not follow any regulatoryguidance/consumer rights and could have cancelled order and provided refund, I buy online all the time and never come across a company like this?? Horrendous service, ordered something yesterday and within a couple of hours changed my mind so rang to cancel order to be told too late and would need to refuse delivery when item turns up. As a consumer you have rights to cancel a purchase but not with this company, now seeking further advice to get a refund, do not risk buying from them as not willing to help, they could stop the item from being dispatched but are telling me I need to refuse delivery!!

Customer service absolutely disgusting!! Spent £800 on a wardrobe during covid. Unfortunately because of circumstances our build was delayed. Items arrive and were checked for damage, boxed back up and shut away. Months later when we came to build the item and we were missing the bottom with the legs on. The first lady I told gave me the impression that there would not be any problems and even laughed at my predicament! 4 calls later the only response I have been given is that there is nothing that can be done. I have offered to pay extra for the part and assured them that my husband can make it fit if they remake the piece but they will not help and are not interested! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Ordered where are the cabinets at a cost of £389 no communication no deliveries called three times now and get fobbed off each time also a refund which I’ve never bought from them terrible service and communication which is on 0J sorrell

Buyer beware! When I purchased my home a year ago, I had no idea it would be 10 months before I moved in. I wasn't told until the final walk through that the paint on all walls was "primer grade" so I have to paint at least kitchen and bathrooms, otherwise you can't wash the walls. And I was told that I would need to seal all the backsplashes.... Just days after signing final paperwork I asked about changing the toilets out for handicap. I was told it would be $250. just to change the order (mind you they would not start building my house for months) and plus the cost for different toilets. The BIGGEST mistake was my house is natural gas, I requested a tankless waterheater. They installed a propane tankless waterheater. My hot water was Sporadic at best, showers were a nightmare. And NO ONE could figure out why. I even went to the manufacturer, everyone looked at it, told me it was hooked up properly, doing what it's supposed to do, but nothing changed. I got a bill from the local tankless water heater specialist for $208. And everyone just shrugged their shoulders and nothing happened. Fast forward 8 weeks, I get a call from the Supervisor at Palm Harbor, he thinks he figured out what the problem is. Once they put in a natural gas unit it works just like it's supposed to. I don't know who's blunder that was, but if you don't know how to work on them, don't offer them as an option. Needless to say I haven't been reimbursed the $208. for the blunder no one wants to own, and there is still a list of items that need to be addressed, but no one responds, no acknowledgement at all to my phone calls or emails.

I so wish I had read the reviews first, lesson learnt the hard way. The £634 teak root coffee table is substantially less in quality as shown on the website. The tree root doesn’t support the glass on over a third of the full diameter thus unstable when placing items on the surface. The table rocks and the roots are broken and straggle y unlike the photos on the website which fill the diameter of the table and looks beautiful. Quite frankly this is a health and safety hazard but the company refuse to take responsibility or acknowledge the issues explained and the videos provided. They expect the customer to return via carrier at the customers cost subsequently this is being referred to trading standards. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! 0 STAR WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE.
