Entered my prefered dates and a list of… Entered my prefered dates and a list of caravans were listed. i picked the one i wanted and paid for 4 nights from 11th to 15 Dec. I then got a confirmation email about 30 secs later saying I was booked for 9th Dec to 13th. which is no good for me. I could only do Wed to Sun. I went straight on site to cancel it and of the £125 I'd paid 30 seconds earlier you would only refund me £12.50 back. I rang the booking line the next day to to try and get refund or rearrange and you wanted £20 just to handle the call and £35 to rearrange dates. I was not paying it, it's disgusting. So for the 4 nights I booked and can only 2 nights and cannot book in until the Wed afternoon and have to be out Friday morning. First and last time I'll ever use Hoseasons. My partner booked another caravan for the Friday and Saturday directly with shearbarn at a cost . So our 4 night break that should of been £125 has ended up costing us £255, thanks Hoseasons. Terrible Company Who are just middlemen that, booked directly ignore these rip off merchants, Who charges £20 to handle a phone call lol.

Stop, think then book with someone else! Paid a deposit for a family holiday after being sent several promotions. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons forgot all about it and missed the payment date. Didn't worry about it but knew I'd lost my deposit. However, I have now received a ccj and now owe more than the holiday and have received several threatening emails. Disgusting, a deposit is paid to secure dates and that is what is meant to be lost. Robbing people, after your hard sell is disgusting, my stupidity was thinking I'd have to lose my deposit not the £200+ I now have to pay. In the current climate, you are hard selling and then doubling your profit.

My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer last October. We booked trip to a cottage on February 14th for some well earned r and r during her treatment break. We arrived at the cottage to no access to the premises and the lock box code was not provided by Hoseasons. We tried their number and could not get through. We contacted the cottage owner as per the contact details provided by Hoseasons. No reply. We had no choice but to book an air bnb at greater expense to us. The cottage owner later replied to us stating that she had declined the booking on the day we requested it as she was out of the country, however Hoseasons still took our money and confirmed the booking. Hoseasons are refusing to refund the £360 stating they will not do anything as as we emailed them over 28 days after the ‘stay’, despite us trying to call them upwards of 30 times but never being able to ge through. The attitude of the customer service advisor is basically ‘computer says no’. Disgusting from them, this is the first and last time we will be using them. Any advice on who I can contact to raise this? All we want is the money back that they incorrectly took from us.

Fairway lodge henley hall Oswestry . This was a very relaxing experience. The cabin was much better than the photos and had everything we needed. It was very clean and there were welcome gifts waiting for us. Robin the reception host was so nice and welcoming. She explained everything clearly and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely go back. It was worth our five hour drive from Kent.

I had booked and paid upfront for a cottage for a 1 week stay. My family and arrived on the Friday and went out on the Saturday only to be met by the manager stating that we didn't have a booking as it had been cancelled. Both my wife and myself contacted Hoeseasons on the Sunday and had 3 different coversation's. The final conversation resulted in us being made homeless and having to cut the holiday short and drive back home after only 2 days. Will not be using the company again.

Shocking customer service. Beware of where you are booking because a lot of parks etc. do not promote the fact that their bookings and admin are handled by Hoseasons. The park we are staying at is good but if you have any questions or require customer service in any way, you are put through to Hoseasons and I cannot explain how poor the staff are. After explaining my issue to a member of staff three times, he still could not grasp it so I asked to speak to someone else. He said he could help so I explained it another couple of times. In frustration I again asked to speak to someone else. After being told that he couldn't and me asking why, quite a few times, he eventually put me through to someone else. The lady I was put through to was equally as useless. I was asking to change to a different lodge and despite it being possible (I had already spoken to the park directly but was told that Hoseasons handled the booking system so the request would need to go through them) I was told that due to 'data protection' and 'ethical' reasons, the change could not be made. Despite asking what she meant by 'data protection' and 'ethical' reasons, I was not given an answer. I don't mind if my request is denied but to be given a load of tosh as an excuse, I cannot abide. Shockingly bad which is a shame as years ago we used to book all of our holidays directly through Hoseasons but not any more. Bear in mind this was a simple request and not anything that was going to 'cost' them money e.g. a refund so I feel sorry for people going through that process, you have no hope!

Was due to go away with my family today but Hoseasons decided to tell us a day before it’s been cancelled due to a faulty boiler. This is the 3rd time they have used this excuse so when booking be ready for them ringing the day before. Very poor service and when you ring them they don’t even seem bothered. The most annoying thing is we had booked stuff to do around the lodge area and won’t get our money back for that either as it’s too far away to drive and do them each day. Shocking company and all the reviews people have wrote says it all

Extremely Disappointing Experience After 40 Years of Loyalty I am writing this review on behalf of my father, who has been a loyal customer of Hoeseasons for over 40 years. Until recently, he had never encountered any issues or needed to make a complaint. However, his recent experience with a houseboat rental has been nothing short of appalling, and the subsequent customer service has been even worse. The houseboat had numerous serious issues: Broken locks on the toilet/bathroom and front door, compromising safety. Severe rot throughout the entire houseboat, from the bottom upwards, including a collapsing walkway and a rotting balcony—both acknowledged by the owner and manager. Shower tray in terrible condition (admitted by the manager but left unfixed due to it being bespoke). The whole site was covered in sludge due to excess water, which was reported but ignored by the manager. These issues were not mentioned in the property’s description when booking, and the overall condition was far below what was advertised. My father was so disappointed that he considered leaving on the first day but stayed only to avoid disappointing his granddaughter. The complaints were made on arrival, but they failed to do anything. After returning, he lodged numerous complaints with Hoeseasons. Initially, customer service responded but quickly passed the blame onto the property owner, claiming Hoeseasons doesn’t own the property and therefore couldn’t be held responsible. They acknowledged some issues but dismissed the complaint by stating that other customers hadn’t complained—an unacceptable and irrelevant excuse. Despite weeks of follow-up emails and deadlines given to Hoeseasons to resolve the issues or offer compensation, they have now completely stopped responding. This is not just frustrating; it’s a complete failure in customer service. In over 40 years of holidays with Hoeseasons, this is the first time my father has had to make a complaint. Given his loyalty and the significant number of holidays he has booked with them in the past year alone, the lack of accountability and the fact that they are now ghosting him is disgraceful. He is even considering cancelling a holiday already booked for 2025. Problems can occur, but it’s how a company addresses them that truly matters. Hoeseasons’ complete disregard for a long-time customer and their refusal to resolve these issues or offer any compensation is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them—our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Date of experience: 13 July 2024

I could not speak to anyone on the phone . I wanted bank details of the owner to pay a security deposit. There was an answer phone telling me to go online . When I messaged a bot it said the same. But when I tried online, my password didn't work . Even though I knew it was the right one . Why can't I just speak to a human being ? Never will I book with Hoeseasons again.

Dreadful to deal with now, if I could give the score of 0 I would. I have always used Hoseasons but I no longer will. In January we booked to stay at a lodge at Caistor Lakes for my birthday on the 19th July, we arrived and checked in, we wasn’t informed about the problem with the lodge and we walked over to it and discovered that one of the main windows to the lodge was smashed. Apart from the fact we’d paid £1,144 and we didn’t want to have to look at an ugly window that was crudely taped up, that we’d be walking around barefoot because of the hot tub, but we also had our dog with us. There was no way we were going to stay at the lodge which could have potentially injured our beloved dog. Eventually Caistor Lakes were less than helpful but eventually they agreed to a full refund. That was on the 19th July, I heard absolutely nothing from hoseasons until I contacted then, which I could only do via email as there is no other way of contacting them, I sent numerous emails which they ignored, I eventually contacted them via the chat app and I was told I’d be receiving a refund. I finally received part of the refund on the 9th of August and the remainder on the 14th of August, they have however deducted the £72 cancellation fee, which I was disgusted about, considering the lodge was unfit for purpose and the cancellation was not my fault. I will never use Hoseasons again.

Customer services team are so rude and unhelpful. Booked a stay at a park in Mablethorpe via their website, only to arrive and find out the booking didn’t complete, despite receiving initial confirmation. When I rang I was told this can happen sometimes if two people book at the same time and nothing they can do. The patronising woman then said I should have waiting for my arrival pack before travelling for four hours with my children. I asked why someone hadn’t called me, her reply ‘we don’t do that’. I had to pay £200 extra direct to the holiday park and despite emailing Hoeseasons three times, I’ve had no reply. Will never use them againy.

Stayed at par sands on arrival .went to caravan .we were told it was a gold plus but clearly not .it was a standard .no table chairs or even decking .tv cables hanging but no were to go .. there was no proper safety checks Displayed the oven wouldn't cook the small on arrival was awful.yes it had been cleaned to a standard .. went to customer service to ask if this was the right caravan . and they said yes.on the monday24th we checked in.driving in and out off site but on Thursday we couldn't get in .as they blocked reg number .we were told we can't park by caravan as we were classed as a commercial vehicle ..so having a husband classed as disabled he had to walk to caravan . for rest off week . this became a problem for him.(Must say they broke there terms and conditions there.) But looking around the site of a eve I noticed sign written vans .(We not). The shower had no safety mat as shower itself had a very slippery flooring.(My husband did slip in shower) Told front desk got oh dear . the customer service is awful . But the worst bit was we had found out that the caravan we were put in had just been sold back to the site . So no up date was done .it was the case off get money in .I have never been so disgusted in a place .as it was my husbands 64th birthday I thought I would book at par sands and having family living here we thought it be nice . but I was totally wrong . The customer service staff need to be trained in customer service.all very nice as you book in but if you ask any thing it all changes I would not recommend this place to any one . We stayed in D16 outrageous . So disgusted with holiday . thanks for making my husband walk . When in so much pain .. think twice if won't good customer care. For a well kept park it sure is disrespectful ..
