“Hose reel has a good positive action. If mounting brackets had slotted holes would make retrofitting other brands a lot easier. Unfortunately spray nozzle failed on first use, but Hoselink agreed to replace without any issues.”

“Was not quite what I was expecting. The winding in of the hose is very static, not smooth. The connector for the hose to the tap connector is not staying on regardless of tightness and leaks regularly. The handheld sprayer though is very good with the different settings. Overall it just feels cheap and expected better value.”

“Ordered a new hosereel evolve, arrived quickly. I had a previouse version so was easy to set up, unfortunately it didnt lock the hose correctly. One 2 min phone call to Hoselink, no disputes just we will send a new one and a return label to send the old one back.........simple no fuss. New one arrived all good!”

“I have not been able to mount the hose as I have hollow brick like 99% house in Australia and the screw is not tight to hold the hose. The screw is good enough for timber but not brick. I need chemset to mount hose which is not easy.”

Thank you for your review Fanish! You are able to still mount the Hose Reel with Hollow Brick, you do just need to add Sikaflex to make sure the wall bracket is stable enough. “Hoselink promises a lot and delivers a lot. Watering plants is a forever job, so a hose is not a luxury item. Definitely worth the extra money; the engineering is amazing. Every part of the hose and attachments are outstanding, really solid. The wind up is effortless. If you live in an appartmet and your garden is in a small courtyard, no need to buy one but if you live in a house or some decent land size, get one. The charcoal really blends into trees and the beige looks slick in urban areas.”

“The best hose I have ever used it is out in the sun all the time and so far it hasn't cracked the only reason I needed another one is that it is definitely not Lawn mower resistant or you could say Doofus resistant, definitely great item and does not give a taste to the drinking water.”
