“A fantastic product, well made and designed, high quality parts and very smooth and easy operation. Worth every extra cent. Looks very neat, functions perfectly. I will be ordering another for the front of the house! The Evolve is aweome! Oh...and fast shipping.”

“Very happy with the Evolve hose reel. It retracts so smoothly. I have been wanting one for years so am thrilled Santa brought me one. All the connections are sturdy and solid. Love the hand held sprinkler. The variety of settings suit a few tasks and the quality of output is great. Have ordered a couple of other sprinklers for the ground yesterday too.”

“The product is of a very good quality but doesn't perform as hoped. The hose is very rigid and hard to handle and the special high pressure fitting is not very effective.”

I am sorry you are disappointed! We pride ourselves in our products so it is disappointing to hear! Unfortunately with any Hose Reel the pressure will reduce so it may not be as strong a water pressure than a normal hose, this is due to the way in which the water has to travel. “The product they make is very good, however they just will not leave you be after the purchase with offers and review requests, even when you try to unsubscribe. I therefore suggest you buy the product if you want something well made but give them a FAKE email address. I only write this review in the hope they will finaly take me off the list. I will also buy again from they, but will take my own advice and give a fake email as I do with all the Chinese and dodgy sellers. Had hoped a reputable Australian seller would be better.”

“Have not had a long history of Hoselink purchases yet , but all those I have bought have been excellent product which I enjoy going out in to my garden to use.I was fed up with poor products that either did not last long enough to justify buying ,or using or both, and having to regularly fix leaks etc. I do though ,use the little tubes of lubrication for the "O" ring seals , especially to protect from going hard in the sun . I have found that the hoselink staff are very good with service eg when I lost some "O" rings after not paying attention to the warnings to release all pressure on the hose BEFORE disconnecting any joins, as they will pop off and disappear in the grass etc. Thanks to the team,cheers, Frank”

“I absolutely love the Hoselink Hose and attachments. The hose retracts well into the holder without having to fight the issues as with other hose reels. The hose attachments are nice and easy to use and feel solid in your hands. I love the flick of a lever to shut water flow and no leakages. The covers for the hose reels are a plus and well worth getting. All in all Hoselnks products are well made and a far better alternative to other inferior products on the market!!....”

“After readying all the hype of how good Hoselink was I ordered one. Very disappointed, leaked like a sieve from the cover, so much for Australian made, No quality control. Still waiting for a replacement and have to spend my trying to send the dud one back.”

“I recently purchased 3 hose reels. I have the floowing comments: -the masonary anchors that came with the reels were poor quality. I had to purchase decent Ramset anchors and remount the reels. The stainless steel screws supplied were fine and I reused these. -I did not realise I could not connect my existing sprinklers without purchasing additional fittings. This was not a big problem other than the inconvenince of making an additional order and waiting for delivery before I could use my new hoses. I purchased plenty of fittings plus a Hoselink patten sprinkler which I am very happy with. -My biggest problem is that I mounted one of the reels on the lright hand side of my house. The hose inlet on the reel protrudes past the front of the house and I assumed I would be able to pull the hose out at an angle and to the left across my front lawn. However I did not relise that this was putting pressure on the occilating retrieval mechanism and it appears that after pulling the hose out just once I have damaged the mechanism. The retrieval system no longer moved from side to side properly and the hose tends to bunch up. This is disappointing as I think the only solution will be to replace the hose reel and ensure in future the hose is only pulled out directly in line with the reel. This will be an expencive mistake, which I take responsibility for, however a warning in the instruction manual may have avoided this problem. Cheers, Anthony”

“have had all the usual suspects from my local hardware store, Nylex, Holmann. Nylex rewind mechanism failed after a year and the holmann's hose let go on the inside connections after about a year also. I bought the hoselink 30m evolve because it is made in Australia and I’m happy to spend a little more for the privilege. From the get-go the build quality is far superior and the winding mechanism is smooth. The only thing I would like is the adaptor so I can use my old sprinklers Etc top be added with the unit. The hose joint connections seem way over manufactured considering the failure point is still a tiny piece of plastic that secures the joint together, 100% guarantee this is the first thing that will fail. I’m that happy with the unit I’m considering buying another 20m Evolve for my front yard when the “pope” eventually fails.”

“The hose connecter with flow control is easy to fit and use. I use them on both my hoses however both just failed within weeks of each other As others have mentioned the internals are what failed, so maybe time to review how and what they are manufactured from.”
