“The company was really good there was a couple of issues but they got solved straight away , The only problem I had was certain parts of the apartment wasn’t very clean the bath , the bedroom which I think is more down too the cleaners not the people themselves apart from that it’s a really nice place .”

“The property is beautiful and so handy to everything ideal place to stay It was immaculate Beds squeaked and cld mayb do with a couple more utensils in kitchen like a mixing bowl etc also there was work getting done out side the main door with scaffolding and they kept putting ladder right out front door which wasn’t ideal for getting in and out and they were drilling and banging even on the sat But other than that we will stay again as loved the flat”

“Just got back from our weekend In Liverpool, The apartment we stayed in was amazing it was clean and well equipped for all our needs . The only down side for us was no fault of the apartments it was the noise from clubs close by our issue not theirs. I would definitely stay with this company again .”

“•Useless staff I Phoned due to noise complaints from neighbours, then went down reception and none of them made the effort to do something n tell them to stop. •Didn’t warn me about the consistent noise outside the apartment. •Basically scammed me more money than the price that was stated to pay. •Claimed kitchen was fully equipped, there was no oven with pots and pans nor utensils, So it wasn't fully equipped at all. •They allowed irresponsible drunken adults to leave their young children alone in the rooms and banging doors making a massive disturbance till late hours of 11:30pm/12am •They claimed no parties allowed, but seems everyone was having a party.”

“We recently stayed at this property. When arriving at the property and trying to locate the lockbox for our key card was a nightmare as it’s 250 feet from the property on the opposite side of a busy main road to where you are suggested to park and the property itself. I contacted the company as we were unable to locate the locked box initially and the person I spoke to wasn’t overly helpful as to where to locate it we had received the picture from them of where to locate but until we had walked around the identified hotel railings for twenty minutes in the rain eventually located it at the crossed roads which could have been in the information as would have made it easier to locate rather than being told by the advisor it’s at the entrance to the hotel which is isn’t it’s at the entrance to the car park off a different road and a lot further down the road than the hotel entrance. Once we entered the property it wasn’t very clean, we found a half eaten cake in the drawer of the main bedroom, sweets under the coffee table and in the second bedroom the light shade over the bed is broken and being glass had sharp edges which my 6foot son nearly hit his head on. The sofa bed is intact a leather sofa which is extremely uncomfortable and is like sleeping on a board. It’s a real shame we had all these issues as the apartment is stunning with stunning views over the river and is so well equipped makes staying very convenient as you literally have everything you need included small complementary essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, milk and water so you don’t have to find a shop as soon as you arrive to make a drink. The welcome basket and card is a lovely touch too.”

“until they change the entry system do not book or you will be locked out in the dark. Outrageous and the management company couldn’t even say sorry. Lovely owners came out but not the point. £526 spent and freezing cold and no entry after a 5 hr train journey”

“The apartment is well furnished and great location. However, we were unhappy with the cleanliness as we found a used dirty underwear behind the door, dirty washing machine and the kittle needed descaling.”

“Just returned from a 3 day break at the Oxean Pearl in Scarborough. 11 adults and 1 child for a special birthday get-together. Facilities and accommodation were fantastic, suited our requirements 100%. The only issue was the window in the main lounge, let's in a draught, in need of repair. Good location.”

“Ground floor compact apartment, people living above, expect some noise. Location best feature and comfortable beds. Second bedroom only fits bed and limited space to sit and eat in kitchen. Flooring needs replacing in several area and chip in bath fixing. Host and stay helpful.”

“Lovely little cottage, well situated, coffee shops & places to eat right on your doorstep.Whitby centre just a 5 minute walk away. Just one little cleaning issue behind the bed a lot of dust & unfortunately not great if you have allergies”

“A great location with amazing views but with a few things holding it back from being a great place to stay. I’ll get the negatives out the way first. There’s some particularly bad mould round one of the windows in the bedrooms that is all round the frame and across the blind too. It was enough of a concern that those using the room considered sleeping in the lounge instead. Also the shower in the second room had a blocked drain meaning that the shower could only run for a couple of minutes at a time before it would potentially overflow. Also with the bathrooms both essentially being en-suites it doesn’t leave those in the bedroom without a bathroom with much privacy. In general the apartment didn’t feel the cleanest and could do with a bit of modernisation in a couple of the bedrooms. Having said all that the living areas along with the ‘master’ bedroom were very nice, big and comfortable with plenty of seating. The views from all of the rooms were truly amazing and made the stay worth it. If Whitby Town are at home you can sit and watch the game from the kitchen. The building itself clearly has lots of history and is currently undergoing some renovation work. The corridors were very spooky when coming home at night! Ultimately you get what you pay for and this is one of the cheaper places to stay as a midsized group in Whitby, but still think the mould is a major drawback.”
