I'm afraid HP has lost a valued and long-time customer. I have bought Hewlett-Packard products for MANY years. My first scientific calculator cost me $150 (marked down from $300) back in 1974.  I have been a loyal customer for all these years, but now, their management decisions and poor customer support have forced me to find another company to provide my electronic needs. I will now reevaluate continuing my relationship. Customer service has become something that could be expected of a SPAM organization. They take new printers hostage, by offering a software update which it turns out will not allow consumers a choice of HP or after-market ink. When support is needed, even if HP ink is used, they allow their consumers to suffer dropped callbacks and unprofessional service support. I encourage everyone to take a look at other electronic purchase options. It appears HP has taken a position to return stockholders a dividend at the expense of us, the basic customer.

Worse customer support. HP won’t stand behind their warranty for their laptop that stopped powering on. Even worse their Repair Depot blamed me for a liquid spill. NO SUCH THING! THAT’S AN ABSOLUTE LIE! Then they say HP will do the repair for a price that is the full value of the laptop. I’ll be buying a Dell.

HP are notorious for never keeping up to their promised times and delivery schedules, their logistics are below average and their delivery company, I received a message saying its due to be delivered today and on contacting the sales rep, I found the parcel was never even left the depot. absolutely poor delivery and customer service and promised times, which they dont seem to care about...best buy another product, I cancelled an order immediately, what a absolute waste of time

I am seriously astounded by the terrible service at HP. I reported a problem 6 months after I purchased my laptop. My daughter got the same laptop at the same time and it eventually developed the same problem with the trackpad and memory. They model is poorly assembled garbage. From March to August, I sent them my laptop 3 times and the first 2 times it came back worse. I told them that I was concerned they were just going to run out the clock until the warranty expired and then try to charge me for these problems. They said that since i reported it during the warranty period, it would be fixed under warranty. They lied. The third time I sent it in, they tried to charge me before they would accept the service request, even though the laptop was still under warranty at this point. They promised it would be fixed when I got it back. Instead of fixing it, they just kept it. I'm not joking, when they couldn't fix it they just kept it. During this time, my warranty did run out and they locked me out of my service account because I no longer had any products under warranty, so I couldn't even update the service ticket. After repeated and increasingly angry emails and phone messages from me, I finally got an actual human on the phone. Since they couldn't fix it and refused to return it, I demanded a refund. That was 6 weeks ago and I finally got a reply. They want me to ship the laptop back to them so they can find the problem. The same laptop as they have been holding hostage for 3 months now. At this point, I think they have lost it in their service center and don't want to admit it.

Had to speak to someone for 16 minutes just to order black ink. She was outside the whole time as I could hear the wind whipping. I couldn't even hear half of what she said. Horrible.

You purposely make your ink poor quality and do not have one customer service rep l avalible to aide without a week long email and phone call process to set up a 100$ printer? Haha. What if this was the case in my very needed healthcare position? Huh. I’m also fairly high up in rare disease specialty. Tables turn. Everyone has a body too… weird. Let’s indulge. Should I still be doing a service out of the “goodness of my heart” for a company WITHHOLDING (it is WITHHOLDING when it doesn’t WORK.) needed products from A HUGE POPULATION for their own pockets sake? I will compare these. I will shame your company. We all have our markets crash HARD, it’s never an excuse to be greedy. See you in the pit, snakes.

I had bought a 40 cm firefly Laptop from HP.com on 28th September 2023. On the website when booking, there were issues in taking the GST number and the address, and then there were issues making payments, so I canceled the order. I again booked but it did not take the GST number and details at the booking. A support executive names Aakash came online on phone and helped is do the process. He promised that we will get GST Invoice and he will get it done offline on giving details to him which we furnished details on akash.a1@hp.com The order was booked and the delivery was scheduled to be delivered by 3rd October. This shipment did not get delivered until 10th October when I made a hue and cry for it o their helpline numbers. Their customercare is too bad and irresponsible. Everyday it got delayed for no reason. The delivery partner was Delhivery and their service is pathetic. There is no one to speak to other than ROBOTS. Coming to the issue, as I did not get GST Invoice till now after repeated calls to call centre's and emails they are not bothered to give be even though they promised. HP is a host of lies and have no support system. I ask them to do a refund my money and take back the Laptop OR give me a GST Invoice. I also ask them a compensation for the trauma that I have gone through. I appeal everyone to refrain from buying products from HP. Gaurhav Jaiin 9989730000 gaurhavjaiin@gmail.com

This company doesn't have a mercy as long as it supports the Israeli occupation in Palestine. Throughout 75 years, Israel killed more than 100k persons and it is practicing currently a violent attack in Ghaza. 99% of victims there are children & kids. The western propaganda has been shown fake news instead of being transparent. Hence I decided to never purchase any of this company's products.

One measure of a company’s commitment to Customer satisfaction, is to effectively and efficiently do right by Customer they have inadvertently harmed or caused negative influence upon. It is hard to believe HP allowed this situation to get to a point an Escalation Specialists is needed and it hasn’t even been resolved yet (was told refund is not approved – HP is working on a solution). Upon HP Rep’s recommendation in writing confirming one of their printers met all my needs, I purchased from local retailer. After opening, discovered item HP agent said would be included wasn’t where subsequently discovered other criteria also not met thus began the hugely frustrating, unbelievably difficult down the HP Customer NO SERVICE from %#@! experience. Note: local retailer has no printer return policy which is why I contacted HP. It was their mistake in guiding me to purchase in first place so went to them for refund. Had I been given the correct info, I would not have bought printer. In 7 days, I’ve had correspondences (HP Chat, emails, phone calls) with 14 HP Rep’s, 11 emails, 7.5 hours logged just in phone conversations plus additional 2 chat sessions. This doesn’t include some surveys and whatnot filled out in this help/return quest. HP’s position – had you bought from us, we’d return but you bought from a retailer, so no, even while acknowledging the written HP Rep’s "it meets all my needs recommendation to buy it " and confirming Rep was wrong. My recent conversation yesterday has now gone to an ‘Escalation Specialist’ where I’m told HP has offer to refund all but $75.00. When I inquired why not full amount, I was told because refund request didn’t occur for 4 days. I corrected Specialist written documentation shows I initiated the help/return 25 hours after purchase. Specialist is to get back to me. Wow, seriously? I certainly have re-evaluated my future electronic purchasing power with a company and HP is no longer one of them. If HP can’t do right by Customer what is clearly a mistake on their end, it’s hard to see how fair and equitable they would be in any other situation.

Your customer support people are good. Your process for providing assistance is TERRIBLE. I have spent COUNTLESS hours trying to fix this printer--with & without tech support, but the printer is flawed & I still haven't been able to resolve the issue. HP has made it next to IMPOSSIBLE to return this defective product & get a refund. I will NEVER purchase another HP product again. And I will provide this review to Google and social media.

I had a horrendous experience which started with their hp instant ink service. Even though our internet was fine, a package the printer sends out crashed the printer and then there was no way to restart our printing. I chatted to bot at 19:48. The website was misleading, worded it as if you could chat to someone at any time and it happened to be out of hours. Instead of being told this at 19:52 the bot took my details stating “ok, let me check that I have everything needed to connect you to a live agent”. The chat then went dead. The next day I started the chat with the bot and the system crashed. After an hour into an actually conversation with a helper, taking photos of the printer, following all given instructions the helper then disappeared for over quarter of an hour. Almost two and a half hours after the start, I was eventually told that I would be called back as it was going nowhere. They asked for days to call me and then didn't call me on either of the days requested. Instead, I had told them not to call them on specific days as I would be in work and they called then. The third time they called I answered the phone and they just hung up, contacting me by email to tell me they had tried to contact me three times and the complaint was over. When I called I was told I couldn't complain, and I would have to complain about the way in which the complaint was dealt with! This conversation was 45 minutes and they hung up when I summarised what had to be carried out. Since then they have refused to way in which they carrie out the procedure. The printer was pretty rubbish too, particularly if you use hp ink service.

Don't take hp laptop specially premium laptop they are having very bad service I strongly recommend to take Dell or Lenovo laptop which are much better than HP laptops and having better service. I have taken 90k laptop but they don't care anything Its not working properly they send somebody he said motherboard not working and you need to pay for it on the other hand laptop is opening and everything is working fine there was some software issue but they were not able to resolve it and on the other hand they are saying to purchase motherboard instead of being in the warranty period. They are sucking dont have any value for the customer

Trying to get tech support for a new HP laser jet 178nw imaging drum. The images on line are different from the drum installed in my printer, bought from a genuine HP agent two years ago. See image of the C1120A drum for sale with two yellow/gold "things" in the bottom left hand corner. Thensee my image of the existing drum and nodules on the cover. The nodules would prevent my closing the cover as they could not penetrate the two yellow/gold things. Nobody at HP could tell me what they were and why my existing drum didn't have them. One HP sales "comedian" said maybe I should smash the nodules flat with a hammer. Tried numerous times to get through to the right dept in UK. Mnay different numbers, multiple extension choices. Some were automated voices, others spoke with accents I did not understand. Nobody could help. Completely useless. I will never buy an HP product again.

I'm just here to add myself to the list of unhappy customers. I have had my printer for a year, and have only been able to actually use it a handful of times, since there are constant problems with my HP account. Why can't I just print a document? Why do I have to even use "HP Smart"? Oh...that's right, that way HP can try to charge me $60 to get my printer back online. I will probably end up throwing out this basically brand new printer and buying something else. I will never purchase an HP product again. The website/app are glitchy and I am not even able to access the support page that I need because a new window pops up asking me to rate the support website, and it covers half of the actual support page, with no way to close it out. I even tried leaving a review, and there is nowhere to submit it. The review instructions cut out mid-paragraph and there is no way to scroll down. Save yourself a headache and steer clear of HP!

I had a defective printer. I called HP and I ended up with a nice plan to buy a new one. They don't inform you that you have to enroll, so that's the trick. Now yesterday was my last day to enroll and I forgot to call last night, I was still trying to figure out what would work better than this one. Now, even tough I don't like the new printer I have to keep it in order to avoid to pay $270… What? No thank you, never again HP. I forgot to check the reviews before I called them. Terrible mistake. In order to get all this I was on the phone with HP over 80 minutes.. Please read reviews before you buy.
