Realistically, 1 star is waaaaaaaay to generous for this company! I never write reviews, but HP hands down have the worse ever customer service I have ever experienced in my life to date. With that being said, I thought it was mandatory to make an electronic public service announcement across the world wide web to make other potential buyers aware of the utterly abysmal levels of customer care. Before I continue, don't bother buy ANYTHING from this company if, even on a basic level, just being treated like a human being is of any remote importance to you. I bought a HP Envy 4500 Printer, specifically for when some family was visiting from abroad so we could print tickets, passes etc. Straight out of the box, the printer did not work for no apparent reason. I subsequently contacted customer service who initially did some basic troubleshooting tests over the phone...all of which were epic fails. In a nutshell, they suggested I return the item for a full refund and arranged a collection for the following day via the Courier DPD, which I agreed to and even took time off work to ensure there would be someone at home. Did anyone turn up though!?? So naturally I contacted HP and they claimed that the Courier had come to property, which they did not! To cut a long, tedious and very draining story short...i was having to contact HP for over 2 weeks straight to try and get the printer collected as noone was turning up each time a collection had been arranged. Each time their were ridiculous claims of people bearing names I had never heard of saying there was nothing to collect! Really!???? In the end, I just decided to liaise with DPD directly because HP could not be bothered to rectify the matter. DPD who were more helpful suggested I call just before my allocated time slot to ensure they could locate the whereabouts of the driver before my collection was due. The printer was collected after the 7th arranged allocated time slot, which is appalling. HP then had the audacity to contact me via email to ask me if I could find out when the return would be sent back to them and asked me for the consignment number, instead of contacting DPD themselves...like I had to when they could not be bothered to rectify my issue. I have contacted them several times to inquire about a refund and I have been completely ignored. As it stands, the actual purpose of my purchase is now invalid, I don't have a printer, I haven't had a refund and there is not talk of compensation for the inconvenience caused. Overall, the WORST company I have ever given my hard earned cash to in exchange for a product or service! Both the product and the service were absolutely absurd!

I bought an expensive HP Pavilion in March and it keeps crashing. It has already been back for repair twice and is clearly not fit for purpose. Nobody at HP cares. Nobody with any authority to do anything ever answers the phone or email. I am constantly promised that it will be referred up but nothing happens. I have been battling this for five months!! Never buy an HP laptop!

Absolutely appalling customer support. After owning my printer for a few years it suddenly starting giving an error message saying software was not ok (checking on forums this was a recent but known problem). Online or telephone support didn't recognise the serial number, HP virtual assistant went round in circles, so telephoned again, waited a long time, went through several checks with a person but not completed, then line went dead - it was Friday late afternoon but the support person didn't give any indication that she needed to finish.. Called back and they was closed. Next week tried again and eventually found a number to send a WhatsApp message to for support - did this but received no reply. Over a month later my printer still can't be used. HP support is clearly a complete joke

How does this awful company continue to trade??Purchased an HP Pavillion laptop in December 2019. Had one issue a few months later that I had dealt with. Recently the bezel and hinges were coming away from the screen. I spoke to a local computer engineer who said this is a common problem with HP Pavilions due to poor, cheap construction and will be covered under the warranty. Spoke to a very rude 'customer relations advisor' who said HP would not cover this repair, but they would be willing to offer me a discounted repair charge of £177!! This damage simply occured from opening and closing my laptop in the normal course of events. I would seriously advise anyone thinking about buying an HP laptop to look at other brands.

In the last 2 years I have purchased an HP printer, HP Desktop Pavilion and 2 Laptops. I have always purchased HP printers and done so for many years and they have always been great purchases. However, HP laptops and desktops leave a great deal to be desired. The first HP laptop I had went back for repair at least twice in the first 12 months but the 2nd one has been back 3 or 4 times. 3 times because the hinges keep breaking and once for a Hard Drive problem. It is with HP at the moment for yet another repair of the hinges. Added to this the screen went haywire and was showing two sets of images which made it impossible to navigate the laptop. I asked HP for help and they said it needed a new screen but they accepted no responsibility for this even though it was on extended warranty but they would repair it for £320. The laptop only cost me £347. I eventually got it repaired via a local repair centre for £92. As, in my opinion this laptop is not fit for purpose I have asked on more than one occasion for either a refund or replacement. These requests have been ignored. I have been informed that this latest repair is likely to take approximately 2 months while the other took about 10 days. Having owned computers since the very first Sinclair ZX81 and several laptops and desktops I do know how to handle them so there must be a major flaw on the hinges for them to break so often. The HP desktop I have has had numerous sound problems too.

I have just bought a printer and laptop, both from John Lewis and both on different days, tried to claim the cash back have been told for reasons which I don't accept that I cant claim either! the first because it was bought at the wrong time, although it had the cash back advert on it, the second as it was outside the claim window. This is a total scam and I will not buy HP again.

HP is a company that does not value its customers. It offers cash back deals for devices purchased which are nothing more than a scam. After trying to claim you realise that the so called Terms and Conditions are made to make it very difficult to actually claim the money back using any excuse to refuse to pay. If you cannot afford to run a cash back scheme then don't offer one. As a long time HP customer I will NEVER be buying another HP product again nor recommending HP products to my friends and family nor purchasing anymore HP servers, desktops, printers or switches. You can pat yourselves on the back for losing a long term customer and tens of thousands of pounds in sales. Well done good work, no wonder HP is in the mess its in.

A disgraceful company! 1. They send out faulty cartridges. 2. They say it will take 10 days to send out new ones - unacceptable I have invoices to print and send out now. 3. The excuse given for 10 days was "due to Covid" - How utterly contemptuous of a company to use Covid, which has killed so many thousands of people, to excuse their pitiful performance. 4. I am told I will receive a call back in 1 hour - just another lie of course. 4. Take a look at their Facebook page - hundreds of complaints all being ignored!

Ordered a HP Envy 2in1 laptop direct from HP's online store. I cannot comment on the actual tech, as I returned it unopened following a fairly awful customer experience. The first order placed was cancelled after 24hrs by HP and no reason given. Whilst they consider the payment made for this order only a reservation until the order is processed, be aware that these funds are still removed from your bank account and take a normal refund period (3-5 days). In order to process this order, they ask you to pay again by bank transfer. So now you're paying twice as much for the same order and have no purchase protection. I was then offered a small discount as an incentive to proceed with this method of payment. Dodgy. Having refused, I placed a second order and requested that the discount be applied to that. To cut a long story short, this was refused, then altered to be a voucher only eligible for the HP store. Complaints were raised and took additional follow-up phone calls before they were even acknowledged. My concerns about the method of payment remain unaddressed, the delivery took twice as long as advertised on the website... All in all, a disaster from start to finish and to say that HP were apathetic would be an understatement. I work too hard for my money to have this level of disdain in return. Will be buying elsewhere from now on.

Order stated 48 hrs delivery. Placed my order on the 1st it is now the 6th and still nothing received. HP website says that the parcel is loaded on a truck for delivery from the delivery depot. The "Parcel force" website says the parcel has only been sorted and this does not indicate delivery today. The two emails towards customer service did not get answered. I like HP products but, what a way to lose your customer satisfaction like this (look at all the complaints online). Just do not create false expectations. " Due to COVID the delivery can take 7 or more days, we apologize for this inconvenience". This simple sentence keeps your customer loyalty. A no brainer for such a big company. The delivery and customer service do not support their products.

STAY AWAY FROM HP WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I would not even give one star I bought a new HP laptop and the screen stopped working along with one of the USB ports, after many attempts for a response on Whatsapp I finally managed to get a hold of someone who arranged for the laptop to be collected for repair, the laptop was returned to me unrepaired the very next day with the engineer report stating the USB fault is damage caused by the customer, they had not even checked the screen therefore it was not mentioned on the report, I had to then send messages for someone to contact me on whatsapp for 3 days until I finally got a response from technical support who are based in India, they said they would investigate and come back to me but no one did come back to me instead they sent me a message asking me if my issue was resolved so I had to go through the whole process again and again with no response on whatsapp I went online to look for a UK customer service dept to call, I found a number online which again connected to agents in India after repeating myself again I was put through to HP customer service based in Portugal her name was Tania I found her to be very rude and she just would not listen to any points I raised instead she blatantly lied to me, she could not provide me with a engineers report and just said the warranty is void and closed my complaint besides me stating to her that she can not close my complaint before showing me evidence of the damage they say I have caused to the screen to stop working and the USB port she just put the phone down on me and closed my complaint, I'm in shock I'm now having to go through it all again, THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIANCED IN MY LIFE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO ELSEWHERE.

My order no 339018257 placed on Nov 27th, supposed to have delivered in 3-14 days in nowhere in sight on 17th of december. It says it shipped from somewhere in China and now in transit for 15 days? No way to contact HP apart from automated chat. Will never order again from HP. Product not delivered and do not know if will deliver before Christmas.

Ordered an Omen gaming computer on 10th December, estimated delivery advertised as 17th - 24th December. Up until 16th December the on-line order status showed item at "packing" (= ready for dispatch). On the 16th, I called HP to confirm the despatch status only to be told that "unfortunately delivery of this item has been delayed until 10th February next year!! I am angry and upset that this item was, in my opinion, mis-sold with false delivery expectations - a week's delay would have been unfortunate - but perhaps excusable - but 3 months?!!! and the item showing at the despatch stage!! and no update from HP ! Will never use them again.

On Oct 30, 2020 I placed an order at HP.com for a new computer after I lost my previous computer in Hurricane Zeta. It took nearly a month before shipping after a delay. Once shipped, it took longer than it should have, after I paid for expedited shipping. Luckily, I received the $9.83 back since the computer clearly was not expedited as I paid. Unfortunately, though, the Fedex driver left my package on the side of my house in the rain rather than on my front covered porch. Upon opening it I noticed there was some moisture on the screen. I immediately contacted HP customer support. I want my computer, however, I paid for brand NEW, undamaged and simply want some type of compensation for this and now all these issues. I have been going back and forth with a customer service agent named Barbara who has been of no help at all. She first wanted pictures, which I totally get, but it was DAYS later before I got a response and that cardboard fell apart by them. So it was trashed. Now, nearly a week later, she wants photos of the computer screen.... that has already had a chance to dry after I set it in rice. I was also told there would be a 15% restocking fee to return the DAMAGED item they sent. Again, I am happy to keep it. I need it for work. However, I do request a partial refund because I received a damaged item. Nobody was even home. The shipment said a signature would be required and gave the new delivery date. The conditions they left it out, if you looked up, would show it had been raining literally all day on the day it was delivered. So there was no excuse for Fedex to leave it out as they did. However, I, as the customer who paid $2,457.86 for this computer to be brand new and delivered in perfect condition, should be treated much better than this. Because of Fedex and HP's negligence I should be refunded some of my money back as I do not know what damage that moisture did or will cause any issues long term. Additionally, the customer service has been insulting and a joke to say the least.

We purchased a brand new Lap top for Christmas for my daughter. It was the lap top she wanted but very pricey. Her mother and I decided to extended ourselves and buy our kids something they really wanted...because I was unemployed for almost 2 years and they cut my wife's hours. We struggled for awhile, but our kids never asked for anything because they were aware of our situation at age 9 and 13. We were glad to see the look on their faces on Christmas morning. Fast forward 8 months later the laptop died and it was because of a defective hard drive confirmed by HP and Geek Squad. HP asked us to send it in...we did. Two weeks later we received it and and 4 weeks later it had the same problem. They fixed it while under warranty. Now they won't even communicate with us or respond to emails because it's out of warranty. They didn't do a good job at all. Now my daughter has a very expensive laptop that doesn't work. HP in my experience has the worse customer support along with product quality. Someone from HP needs to contact me at. 4074890160
