Placed order for delivery from 5 guys for my sons birthday. Order arrived missing 5 portions of fries and stone cold, We through it In the bin . When we contacted Deliveroo They offered us a £10 refund. Unbelievable!!! We ended up ordering a Dominos. Would never use Deliveroo again and I urge everyone to do likewise.

Opened a new account and ordered for the first time through Deliveroo. The delivery was much later than stated when ordered but more importantly the KFC bargain bucket was missing the chips. Made a complaint through Deliveroo and now they have suspended my account rather than deal with the complaint. More than happy never to use this company again if this is how they deal with complaints and new customers!

The delivery never arrived despite showing on their system as delivered, so I called, was advised the driver couldn't possibly come back that day, as was nowmelsewherw, they could not refund me either! , all they could do was escalate the issue, to the hope you go away and forget department. I called the next day, still no refund, it's still been escalated? Advise to try again tomorrow, I mean REALLY. I see a driver in street and have tried to speak to them but there seems to be a language barrier and I couldn't find an interpreter. YOU JUST DON'T GET SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ANY WHERE ELSE.

Avoid at all costs! Awful service. Placed an order... waited... no email confirmation. Then an hour later noticed "failed" on the order. I had paid in full, been given a receipt, Went to the online chat, was told the payment had failed. I contacted my bank, no payment failiure, they had received payment in full. Went back to online chat to request a refund. Ended up in a full blown argument with the operator, who kept contradicting herself on what would happen next. Even told me to go online and try and place the order again! Was eventually told that despite them receiving payment "a security measure voided the transaction" - I tried to ask why they would have a security measure to prevent customers from placing orders, but gave up. This was my first and will be my only experience with this awful company.

Daylight robbing thieves you are happy to take our money and the claim delivered... when clearly you don’t deliver, there’s no help from deliveroo live chat. l am pretty sure you have all your delivery staff’s contact numbers but funny enough can’t contact them and you have to wait 48hrs for someone then to contact you back with regards to no delivery. After reading all the negative reviews that’s not gonna happen nor will we get our money back.. your a bunch of money thieving dicks and I’m sure more and more people will use you less....

Incorrect order delivered, only found it outside because the tracking said that it had been delivered. Tried to contact KFC and the delivery person, KFC kept dropping the phone, no contact for the delivery person. They will not refund the money, but have put a 3 month credit on the account. Will not be using again ( apart from the credit) , and Forest Gump could have done better. Don't use !

Hi, I just ordered from Deliveroo and never got the order. I called the costumer service and they said the delivery man left it in front of the door and just left. Now the order is not there and they don’t want to give us a refund. Seriously, I’m very disappointed and will not recommend this app to anyone. A very angry lost costumer

I was charged for food which did not arrive. No refund as restaurant told Deliveroo that food was delivered. How ridiculous. It would be funny if it wasn’t so incompetent.

I ordered food which was not delivered. My word against theirs. Money has been taken from my account despite no delivery. NHS frontline staff, working at time of order. Their system of delivery has no robust structure- no tracking/ receipt confirmation- risky service for a customer with no proof of delivery. A financial gamble!

My order from Franco Manca on Wednesday was absolutely brilliant. The driver was very quick and efficient and was very respectful of social distancing. The food was divine. Thank you!

I would give it ZERO. Disgusting customer service. I was charged for products not delivered and Deliveroo refused to refund me saying I did not request it whitin 48 hours which is inadmissible , they failed to show me where that was stated on their website.They literally STOLE my money. I hope it goes out of business soon.

Placed an order, tried to immediately amend it and add an item. The website said the food is in preparation so unable to do this, but if I want to cancel the order I should contact the restaurant. I did this, and the restaurant were fine with me doing this and reordering. I then tried to contact deliveroo via live chat to let them know and it took forever to get through. When I finally got through they said they cant do this and were unwilling to reimburse me for a second delivery cost due to their driver now being at the store. I live 1 minute up the road and they were trying to charge me £4 for delivery in total. In the end I had to go into store myself to just pick it up. There was a lack of care and my query was pretty much just brushed off via live chat. 0 stars, not ordering through deliveroo again

Today I recieved what can only be described as such shocking service I felt compelled to review it. We ordered food at 16:24 through the app from German Donner Kebab. When the food arrived approx 30 mins later I noticed it was incorrect. I said this to the driver immediately and he just shrugged and said I had to call deliveroo. We called deliveroo and the lady on the phone initially said there was nothing she could do. This was not acceptable as we had someone else's food so ours must have been somewhere. She agreed to call the driver. She came back to the phone and said that the driver went back to the restaurant and noticed our food was still there (17:05) and said that he was given the wrong order from the restaurant, he then said he would bring it. The lady on the phone said to keep and dispose of the other food as due to covid 19 and the fact it had been in our house it was no longer viable. 10 mins later approx the driver arrived with our food. He asked for the other order however we had already disposed of this. Our food was stone cold. My partner called deliveroo and I called the restaurant. I called the restaurant as i felt that giving out the wrong order and then leaving ours out to get cold was unacceptable. The restaurant informed me that both the orders were actually collected at the same time (16:40 approx). This means the driver or the woman on the phone lied to us. This also implies that the driver was going to flout social distancing rules over food delivery to take the food that was given to us in error and had been in our household, to another household. Unacceptable. It transpires our food was taken to another house. This meant we couldnt eat this food due to the risks that posed. I relayed this info to my partner. The person on the phone - Milkos - accepted that the error was theirs and that we would get a replacement/refund possibly in 48 hours. Again unacceptable. I explained that I needed to feed my children and 30 is a lot of money for us so I requested replacement food straight away or a refund so I could order from elsewhere. He said he understands but I would have to wait up to 48 hours. I can't comprehend how a deliveroo driver can make an error yet I have to wait 48 hours for food. I explained to Milkos that we are currently dependent on food delivery as we are isolating (so a definate issue that the driver wanted to take food from us) and that I needed the money so i could replace the food today so we could eat today. Still the same response. This went back and forth for a long while, he refused to get a superior to help me, he said it was procedure to hold on to people's money when deliveroo make a mistake, and it is still no guarantee that we will get the refund. I asked for the complaints email, he refused to give it and told me to look it up - several times. He finally gave me the email. I worked in retail for many years and would never have dreamed of giving such shocking service. I wouldn't have lied to a customer. I wouldn't have deliberately endangered health. Yet these seem to be standard for deliveroo as a company. I requested a full refund NOT credit however after 3 days I recieved 10 credit. My order was 34. DO NOT use this company. Shocking service, blame put on customers, they refuse to acknowledge or rectify their own mistakes. Would rate zero stars if an option.

Absolutely horrible customer service managers who carnt manage and felt like a scam from the start, order stated delivered but never was spoke to the restaurant directly who told me it was collect but I guess he was hungry on the way, he told deliveroo he waited outside but as he was waiting I was on the phone to the restaurant hmmm makes sense, I will never use again and suggest you do at your own risk

For about 1 month, I have been asking them to refund 2 of my orders that did not go through via website. Somehow the money transaction went through but somehow not my orders. Contacted the customer service right after and they told me to wait until the money is back, which has never come back. Contacted them again and again and all they said is 'please chill and wait'.

Used your service for the first time last week made an order which failed due to your system I was told the monies were not taken out of my account and I had to make another order . The info given by your staff was wrong as the money was deducted and the food ended up costing me around £80 . After 72 hours you still have not refunded me . This is terrible customer service and I won’t be using you again

Love deliveroo especially Out Fry Editions in Hove. Amazing food, arrives hot and fresh, a great service and very quick. I am unable to leave a review on the restaurant for some reason so thought would share here!

We ordered so we thought..2 meals via Isosuchi...2 hours later still not arrived..we were told our payment didnt do through..but it did. So..they said we have to reorder...cant be bothered with them any more.such a shambles.

Been waiting two hours for food from Chosen Bun in Fulham. Never had a Deliveroo on time. Never had a Deliveroo where all my food arrived as ordered. Need to remember not to use Deliveroo, even when my kids insist.
