they are so inconsistent! their drivers are not trained at all when you complain you get ignored and you feel like they hire people with sub zero IQ to deal with your query. Very frequently drivers text without buzing and just disapear with your order. by the time you complain the person on the phone makes it sound like its been a while since the driver texted you.

Thieves and liars Absolutely disgusting. Shocking customer service, absolute lack of care for customers. Rude agents, talk over you and shout at you and then hang up when you disagree Took my money in December and I received no delivery and I am still waiting for a refund from 15th December. I have chased and chased, been lied to and hung up on. Told to wait for emails and call backs and heard nothing. Told they have refunded me but I emailed them a copy of my bank statement to prove I had received no refund. I was told someone would bet back to me with in a few minutes, still not heard back and still no refund Lying robbing useless do not use.

Anti Semitic delivery company in France. look at latest news. intolerable in 2021! “It is intolerable that delivery men working for the company Deliveroo dare to openly practice anti-Semitic discrimination,” said the president of a French watchdog group. By Algemeiner Staff A restaurant meals delivery app in France is facing legal action after two kosher restaurant owners in the city of Strasbourg reported that at least two deliverymen had refused to collect food from their premises because of their hatred of Jews. Raphaël Nisand, a lawyer acting for the two owners, said that both establishments had found themselves in the same situation over the weekend. “They prepared the orders, and the delivery man asked, ‘what’s your specialty?’ The restaurateurs said, ‘these are Israeli specialties,’ and the delivery man answered, ‘oh no, I don’t deliver to Jews,’ and canceled the delivery,” Nisand told the French news agency AFP on Monday. Nisand lodged a complaint with the local police on Sunday against the delivery men, as well as Deliveroo, the delivery company which assigned the orders. Both the Consistoire Israelite of the Bas-Rhin region — which represents the area’s Jewish community — and the French anti-Semitism monitoring organization BNVCA added their names to the complaint. “The Israelite Consistory of Bas-Rhin considers it intolerable that delivery men working for the company Deliveroo dare to openly practice antisemitic discrimination”, Maurice Dahan, the president of the organization, said in a statement. On Monday, Deliveroo said it had launched an internal investigation into the charges of antisemitism.

Ordered this evening for the first time from deliveroo. Never again!! I watched on the map the driver pass my house on number of occasions (even with delivery note on order) then go around the corner for the app to say my food had been delivered!! Not to my door it hadn’t! I contacted deliveroo chat to be told there was nothing they could do but to investigate and refund me in 5-10 days. Well that helps doesn’t it when I had already paid to eat tonight not in 5-10 days!! Fuming. Also they ended the chat before I could reply!! I’ll never be using this company again and from reading some other reviews (which maybe I should have done in the first place) neither will a lot of other people. I’ll certainly be passing my thoughts on to my family and friends and telling them never to order with this company when there is so many much better delivery companies out there.

They should stop their business they can fulfill their promise!! Talabat is way more faster and efficient even the contact center is amazing..deliveroo customer service is nowhere to be found..sending an email is not gonna work here on this fast phase kind of business..u should better shutdown if you cant deliver ur orders on time!!!

I'm still waiting for the £10 credit they promised me when my £45 meal went off in the opposite direction never to be seen again. That was a Friday night, no phone to ring and answered my email late Monday, 7 days later I got my money refunded... Never again.

Food turned up 85 minutes late. While waiting I contacted deliveroo via their app chat. They got back to me saying the restaurant was not answering the phone so they would email them, and get back to me in 72hours. Would not give me a refund. Following the unhelpful app chat, I made other plans. When food finally arrived I threw it away as not required.

The live chat staff and drivers have generally always been great, with some minor issues. The 4 stars are for them. I also enjoy the range of food options and services. However, I am mainly writing not to commend the staff, but to express concern at the management of Deliveroo. The company exploits their work force, who are not always paid fairly (see, for example, the strikes in Yorkshire), experience sub-par working conditions (including lack of PPE), and are unable to appeal terminations. I understand the argument about 'flexible' working, but ultimately a large portion of their workers who have few employment options (ESPECIALLY during a pandemic) are taken advantage of. Support Deliveroo drivers.

only leaving one star because I can't leave less. Food never turned up phone operators are rude and offered to keep me up to date with my order after loosing it but didn't I had to chase them again. If you like companies that make consistant mistakes then deliveroo is great they managed to loose my food then tell me it was dumped in an alley because they couldnt find my address lie to over the phone about the order and seem to make a point of employing rude operators and they also didnt manage to do a refund for making a spectacular hash of something most other companies find simple. Not bad for a first order

I wouldn't bother ordering via Deliveroo unless you fancy throwing money away!!! Ordered our meal tonight, some of it wasn't delivered. All Deliveroo had to say was "sorry, we'll make it up to you next time". Categorically refused to refund for the missing items and customer service advisor was utterly apathetic and useless. 😡😡😡

They delivered to wrong address, neighbour told them to deliver here. Nothing happened, customer care not interested, computer says no as it was delivered, try looking in your front garden! Absolutely dreadful. Do not use as if things go wrong, and human nature suggests they will from time to time, then you lise out.

Food arrived more than an hour after the original delivery estimate. After 40 mins I contacted Deliveroo on the app chat. They told me it would be 5 more minutes. 15 mins before the food was in fact delivered, I had a notification that it had been delivered. I spent five minutes on the phone first to the restaurant and then to the delivery driver who’d ignored the location instructions.

I don't know how this company is still in operation as it takes your money but doesn't perform. I paid once and got nothing delivered. Second time was when my company paid for a Christmas party delivery. You've guessed it. No delivery. The following morning ie 16 hours after the delivery time I got a text from Deliveroo cancelling.

NEVER USE!! ROBBING B*STARDS!! NEVER USE!!! Awful customer service and they dont send the right food!! Refused a refund after being sent beef instead of chicken (restaurant said the order just came through with no selection so admitted sending beef. No selection is impossible seen as the menu has chicken or beef listed as separate items!!) Deliveroos menu was clearly the issue yet they wouldn't rectify this. The restaurant also refused to correct the order so money down the drain!! £30 to be precise after each meal cost £10....

Deliveroo is a genuine joke. The customer service is without doubt the worst I have come across. Half our order didn't turn up and they just wanted to offer me a bit of credit. No attempt to make the order right, and wouldn't even refund the whole thing despite several people in our group having no food. It took me days to get my money back and the customer service staff are ludicrously unresponsive. After 7 days waiting I just had an email asking me what my email address was so they could process my complaint quickly... I have deleted my account and will never use them again when there are so many better alternatives. Use just eat or uber eats instead and save yourself the pain!

Order never arrived. When chased up by the restaurant it was discovered that the driver had claimed he could not contact us and that he had dumped our order. Deliveroo gave us the run around and did nothing. The restaurant said it was not their responsibility. £70 down the drain. Incompetent negligence and and outrageous situation.

All customers that use this service are getting well ripped off never order for your shopping from these guys as I ordered and got it delivered for (FREE) like it says but really your not they add at least 15 to 20p on top of produ you choose plus a small order fee of £2.57 plus service charge of 0.52p so don't bother save your pennies and do shopping yourself at aldi or if shop somewhere else spend £50 for free delivery this is just a company that likes to rip people off
