If I could give zero stars I would. I made an order on Deliveroo for the convenience. Firstly, I had Deliveroo make multiple orders and charge me twice. Secondly I had missing items, which I was unable to communicate with the lady delivering my items, as she did not speak English; therefore was attempting to refuse the order. The driver was then stuck at my house for an hour as the ID code which I was using was not working. Upon speaking to manager Eric from customer service, I was attempting to have this issue resolved. I was told that this has to be escalated to another team. I asked for a telephone number which under the customer rights act I have a right to do so, he was then told he does not have a telephone number, and only correspondence with them via email. I had asked to be copied into the email; however was told that this is not allowed, which is a breach of the consumers act. I send this to CEO Will to resolve and was redirected to the unhelpful Andreia, who was only offering me with a partial refund and a pathetic excuse of resolution. If Deliveroo truly valued its customers, I would have automatically received a full refund for all which had not arrived. In addition to receiving a level of compensation for all the trouble I've gone to, for something that should have been so simplistic. Thank god my bank has opened a dispute against Deliveroo and was able to provide me with a full refund. Needless to say I will never be using Deliveroo services again.

Refused to refund after being told by restaurant manager to process. Tell manager customer to request, tell customer manager to request. They do anything they can to keep the money and lie to do it. DO NOT order through them, if something goes wrong you won't get anything but a "sorry for inconvenience" and your money kept fraudulently

Had a delivery sent to major hotel in Dublin. Left number asking to text when in area. No text. Driver never let us know until later in app. Went down to lobby and outside at 8 pm. Said delivery was at 8:05. Later we got message that it was left in “garden”. No food. 40 something Euros gone. Should have used Uber Eats. Lesson learned. Deliveroo didn’t seem to care. Driver wouldn’t reply to Deliveroo. Later we found out it’s in the area? No refund. Whatever!!

This was my first time I used Deliveroo and the Co op today. After waiting all morning for the delivery, I was told the store rejected my order without an explanation. The girl on the Chat was useless. She thinks the Co op shop is a restaurant??? After telling her so many times. No wonder I've never used them before, I knew they would unreliable some how. I will never use again, so one less customer and less profits too thanks to their abysmal conduct (not service).

Ordered never arrived for a 10 people diner part I was hosting. They said no refund and have given no explanation Will never use them again!! Con artists!! Will take this up further

Overcharged me A LOT for an order which was only partially delivered. I had to go to the shop and purchase it anyway. Lots of back and forth with Deliveroo and they refused to refund my money. Awful customer service, will never use it again.

Deliveroo used to be good but it’s really gone downhill. The drivers constantly get lost and cannot find where you live. A lot of them are rude and will go as far as cursing and yelling at you when you’re only trying to help them find your address. Some of them are inappropriate and send you messages via chat they’re not supposed to. I had a few of them ask me out and when declined they kept on persisting. Deliveroo needs to hire more decent drivers and train them better. They should also be supervised more (e.g. driver texts and calls to the customer should be recorded and reviewed)

i made a order through 24/05/2022 McDonalds the driver wanted me to go out to the street corner and collect from his car , i told him other couriers would deliver to my door as per usual ,as the advertise on tv. He blatantly refused i chatted with deliveroo customer chat they told me i would be refunded within 5-7 working days NO refund no help now the 15/6/2022 NO REFUND come on deliveroo this is weak service

Order not delivered/money taken Order not delivered. I placed a £20 order for lunch today. Deliveroo driver marked is as called and delivered (no photo provided). I work on reception. He did not arrive. Deliveroo refuse to refund the money. Disgusted! Would give no stars if I could - no delivery, no refund - warrants no starts.

Quality of driver and customer service is non-existent. It seems orders not arriving and no refund is a common thing among these. Highly recommend restaurant stay away from using this because it will make you lose customers.

Ordered items for my pregnant sister who could not leave the house. Items were missing, when I asked them to redeliver the missing items they refused. Not a care in the world for the consumer. This company is all about their money.

They are thieves.. I was charged for items costing around £15 which I did not receive. They inexplicably refused a refund, even though I have a ticklist from Morrisons with the unavailable items marked, and they suspended my account because I complained.

Guaranteed diarrhea and food poisoning. And no refunds. There is no control at all on the quality of the food and really, it's not worth it to poison your body.

My daughter keep having good missing and they will not give her refund they are ripping people off if I keeps happening I will seek legal advice

Needless to say I did not request refund repeatedly and of course they haven't deactivated my account. Not only did I lose money - I am the recipient of automated threatening email. Ordered a pizza from Herbies In Maidenhead. The order was 30+ minutes late. Plus… the WRONG order! I waited that long for the wrong pizza! Meh 😑 It was only Tuesday after work, we’re not talking a really busy weekend or anything! Don’t think I’ll be using this app again until Deliveroo can work out a way of updating actual real delivery times. It’s not just quality.. delivery time also plays a big part of when & where you order.

I ordered because they said my order would be about half an hour, then it changed and then it changed again and I ended up eating late. They used to give your refunds and the person I spoke with said I would get a full refund but this is a lie. Also the service fee is a rip off.
