I would like to leave 0 star if possible!! Last Tuesday I`ve ordered from this dishonest restaurant from Deliveroo platform: Sake Sushi Express. The rule was clear: if the order is delayed over 1 hour, we would be able to receive a refund. The expected arrival time was 7:40. Exactly at 8:40 the order was marked as delivered, BUT WAS NOT DELIVERED!! After 20/30 minutes the motoboy has arrived, but at this stage I was really frustrated and starved, and already cooking dinner, so I did not accept the order. What happened next: the rule of over 1 hour delayed somehow did not apply anymore, so the refund was not applicable, since the motoboy arrived and I did not accept the order!!! Deliveroo/Sake sushi refuses to refund. NEVER AGAIN I AM USING THIS DISHONEST DELIVEROO PLATFORM THAT WORKS WITH DISHONEST RESTAURANTS!!!!

Ordered, didn’t arrive but app said delivered. Customer service would not refund as they said they tried to deliver. CCTV proves they didn’t. Then they suggest the pin on the map is inaccurate and could not find us. We can prove it isn’t, but they still refuse to admit it. Very poor. Will have to put in a chargeback with the bank.

You reviewed Deliveroo Add photo Janet 6 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars No stars if I could I ordered a take away to our hotel on a Saturday night as KFC have an agreement woth Deliveroo have an agreement with said hotel. When it was marked as delivered and we had no food I started trying to find out why as I was left stranded in an unfamiliar place late at night with no food and a hungry 10 year old following over four hours in the car. Apparently the driver tried to deliver the food and waited for 10 minutes. Was unable to do so, so left the food on the doorstep and as such I'm still being charged. It's a hotel, there were always people outside smoking and I was sat like an idiot on reception for half an hour waiting for the delivery driver to show up. The hotel manager confirmed that no KFC order arrived - even though other Deliveroo drivers visited the property through the night. So I'm left paying for food that never got delivered by a company who couldn't give a monkeys.

What a dreadful company. We had an issue with our food and they took absolutely no responsibility. They told us it was the restaurant’s issue and the restaurant told us it was Deliveroo’s issue. When I flagged this, the woman (Josielyn) I spoke to was useless; the process took nearly an hour and she ended up ending the chat, knowing full well I was dissatisfied. I then emailed, but time and time again they sent pointless responses, ignoring my initial questions and showing no ability to looking after their customers. I will never use them again, given that their staff truly do not care, show no initiative, can’t even be bothered to read emails and are, quite frankly, rude.

Deliveroo has the worst customer service that is possible. They disregard delivery instructions and then take the delivery back and charge you for the food they did not deliver while marking it as delivered in their system. Furthermore they do not return the food to the restuarant so you may collect it nor do they issue refund for the delivery that they did not successfully make because the rider ignored the delivery instructions. To make things worse, their customer support team over chat as well as the ones available on call do not offer any resolution or even listen to suggestions that may resolve the issue. The customer service only narrates the terms and conditions of the delivery. It was a horrendous experience using deliveroo wherein : 1. I paid for the food that I did not receive and probably consumed by the Deliveroo rider 2. The online chat support and call support not once offered any resolution to the issue or even listen to suggestions that may resolve the issue. 3. Took up 1.5 hours of my time for no resolution and no delivery that is the exact opposite of why I would use a food delivery service. Deliveroo, this is no way to do business!!!

I have never had such a terrible experience. I order food, after an hour I received a notification that rider tried to contact me, but could not reach me. According to the rider food was left at the doorstep. No one tried to call me, message me. I didn’t get my food. They didn’t compensate it as according to their information rider tried to message me. There is on prof of it. Moreover there is no image that profs that order was left at the doorstep. They lost their loyal customer.

It's always a gamble whether you get the food from deliveroo or they state 'delivery attempted' and your food is gone, but money taken. Deliveroo is horrible and I will never use it again, I don't understand how they get away with it. Their helpline always throws the terms and conditions in your face as an excuse for a horrible service.

Zero stars from me.. I'm starting to believe these companies have ways to steal from innocent people. They sent me a notification that my order was cancelled by wagga mama. So I reordered. But wagga mama didn't cancel, so it was like a trick notification. Then they say they can't refund me. Paid twice for the same order and it was alot of money. I'm disgusted with this. It's just wrong.

I have decided to stop using Deliveroo… I have decided to stop using Deliveroo today. I have been a client for many years ordering often daily. But the service has become worse and worse. the last order on the evening of the 28th of November I received soaked boxes with the entire order smudged and mixed absolutely not fit to eat. I have contacted customer services immediately with photos just to be told there is nothing they can do.... Today I received a very unpleasant and uncaring email confirming they will retain my money despite delivering destroyed mashed leaking food.... "Hi Joanna, Thank you for your reply. We understand that this is not the outcome you're expecting. We'll make sure to take all of your feedback and all the information on this order on board so we can improve our future service, but we cannot offer any compensation on this order at this point. Deliveroo will no longer correspondence with regards to this matter. Best wishes, Hoi Shan Escalations Team - Deliveroo Customer Care"

Gerry Byrne 51 m · Shared with Public A few months ago my wife and daughter were pulling out of a retail store car park when a Deliveroo rider rode straight across the front of the his bike hit the front wing he was riding on the pedestrian walkway opposite to the flow of traffic and came from behind a bush which was obscuring the view He then stood up and gave the most foul abuse to my wife and daughter and kicked the rear wing causing a dent and smashed her wing mirror off the car. I reported this to the Police but they said local cameras were insufficient to provide any help. I reported this to Deliveroo but suprise suprise they cant identify any rider that was in the area at the time I have sent many emails with descriptions and pictures and exact locations as requested but they keep asking for order number and restaurant involved but this was not involved They are obviously ignoring the situation hoping it will go away.MY WARNING TO YOU IS IF YOU USE DELIVEROO IN ROMFORD YOU MAY COME UP AGAINST THE SAME PSYCO THAT WE DID AND IF YOU COMPLAIN TO HIM ABOUT YOUR ORDER LATE ETC WHAT WILL HE DO!!!!!!!!! I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT DELIVEROO WILL DO NOTHING PLEASE SHARE THIS TO WARN OTHERS

I ordered food from kfc through the app and the driver never showed up. I contacted deliveroo to organise a refund, but because the driver made a call, they said I wasn't entitled to a refund. I was on holiday and the driver wasn't outside and never entered the hotel, and then the driver said the food was left in the 'front garden' - there was no front garden, and no food left. A disgraceful service. It's robbery in an app

Today I placed an order and the driver claimed that he could not find my address then left. I contacted deliveroo both by chat and calling customer services to request a refund. I was denied on both occasions stating that the driver waited at the location for 20 minutes and left. I called the driver during the so called waiting time and he confirmed he went somewhere else, so i reconfirmed the address with him but he still didn’t come. Then the CS representative said that the google maps pin was incorrect and that it was my fault. I again told them that the address entered is full and correct and that the pin was fine when I ordered so it’s not my problem they had issues after this point. I had a previous order earlier today to the exact same details with no issues. I was told by the operator that some drivers are more competent than others. So Deliveroo stole my money, I did not receive my food and they blamed me for their incompetent drivers while refusing a refund despite me giving them my correct details and also verbally confirming the details with the driver. Disgusting service that I will never again.

I ordered with 3 others a food delivery to the workplace . The driver turned up but at the wrong entrance - I wasn’t sure which entrance he was at. We spoke 3 times but he was unable to understand which entrance we were waiting at - which incidentally is the main entrance to the hospital. He eventually was rude and put the phone down on me and left without delivering our food at a cost of £62 - Deliveroo refuse to compensate us
