The concept is great the product is ****. They delete your account and all it’s settings out of nowhere which has happened twice to me. What really makes them useless is their inability to actually fill your orders. I waste at least 2 hours a week on waiting for orders that never actually get accepted or delivered. If you are a good delivery app, customers shouldn’t spend a couple hours a week not getting food they ordered and then telling them that their time, level of hunger, and overwhelming inconvenience that they keep on causing is worth a $5 voucher (which they give about 5% of the time this happens). Minimum wage is more than $5 but yet several hours of my time because your app is **** is worth $5? Too much competition out there, user beware. 50/50 whether the food you ordered will actually show up, and after it doesn’t show up they assure you they aren’t going to charge you for food they can’t deliver 🤣. Joke of an app and business, who should fire the entire customer support team robots as well. I do not think they actually hire many people for customer support but rely on AI to keep on giving you the same pre-canned messages over and over again. It’s literally the most infuriating thing someone can deal with when they are having a problem with their order. Seriously do not waste your time with them.

Disgrace of a Compnay - driver messed up the order - kids were in tears when their food didn’t arrive! Took over an hour to sort out and they still didn’t refund the full order - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Awful service, after waiting half an hour for someone to bike 13 minutes, he finally got to us and he delivered us 2 drinks that we didn’t even order and no food!

Took over the amount owed, then did it again to rebalance the original amount for some reason. £19 turned into £50. Customer service is a joke, basically just stole from me and didn't give me my money back. Worst thing was this was the weekend before payday, got some groceries as I was working late from home then they cleared my bank account for the weekend, didn't have any money for food on Sunday, total waste of space! AVOID!

Avoid. When an order goes wrong they don't take responsibility. Missing items are refunded but not delivery fees so somebody goes hungry or you reorder paying the deliver fees at your own expense. Other food delivery companies handle this situation much better stick to using them.

Their riders steal items and then expect customers either not to notice or to report the items as missing and receive a credit. I recently ordered some food items as part of my order. These did not turn up with my order but were not deducted from the order - so the items were evidently in the store. When I reported these items as missing Deliveroo refused to credit me. On the grounds that I previously requested credits for missing items their riders have stolen! I will never use this company again.

Ordered food on a Saturday night. After 2 hours late and numerous calls to the restaurant I still hadn't received any food. The restaurant updated the order to say it had been delivered. When I tried to call it just rang out. Deliveroo refused to refund or credit my account. Because the restaurant stated they had delivered it even though they were lied. Very disappointing and awful customer service by Deliveroo

Drivers and customer service are terrible order picked up at 12.13 and didnt get here till after half past 1 the drive is less than 10 mins

Tonight was the first time I’d ever ordered a takeaway online, I know, crazy eh? I was obviously right to be hesitant because Deliveroo didn’t turn up but instead sent a message saying they couldn’t contact me so had left my order in the garden. Don’t know whose garden they left it in but it wasn’t mine. I was in the house patiently waiting……I sure won’t be ordering from them ever again.

This company should be investigated by trading standards. I've had missing items and wrong items delivered and even when I've sent a picture of what was delivered, I've been refused a refund. I've called the shop, who can't help, wrote on the live chat, called customer service and emailed support - all denied me and didn't give a reason why. I'll never use them again. Going through resolver at moment and also spoke to my bank as paid on visa. They are a disgrace and actual thieves. If there is a God and I believe there is, they will lose all their money doing this to people.

I tend to order my groceries through deliveroo due to work and health issues. Sainsbury and coop will randomly short deliver items. Last order Sainsbury short delivered +£9 of food and deliveroo will not refund and are telling me they are closing my account. I’m being punished for items not delivered. This is theft. Also we all pay service fees but do we ever get a refund on these if the items aren’t delivered… no

Long time user also fed up with delayed orders and poor service. Received an order which was both cold but also included hairs in some of the food, with another part inedible. Despite providing photographic evidence of this and waiting for them to "investigate" they refused to refund the order. Incredible. Never using again. You accept things can go wrong, but with nothing done about it
