“Our experience with HUBZU bidding was unique as the property was with lot of problems. It was worth the hassle. However, I found that hubzu allows fake bidding that inflates the value of the properties and many serious people are left out besides properties are back in the market again and again.”

“hubzu has a very user friendly web site, very prompt. Hubzu should provide entry lock combination to registered users as needed. should have a password protected link to entry lock combination, to get a hubzu agent on phone is extremely difficult.”

“Bought a house thru Hubzu. Leading up to closing, I thought I was dealing with a call center on the other side of the globe. However, the title was properly registered within 24 hrs at the county courthouse, which is faster than others we have dealt with, so..long story is, I would not hesitate to buy another house thru their website, but only after I was able to personally view the property being bought, these are repo houses and condition can vary greatly from what you think you see in the photos.”

“It was a little frightening for a first time user but then all REO sales are challenging. Once I got the hang of it, things went surprisingly smoothly. I would strongly suggest buyers use an agent with a lot of experience or at least have an attorney review the final contract which is over 40 pages long. A number of things are different from the Standard Contracts most of us are accustomed to seeing. The time-table is tight. A lot of questions came up and the seller's are not readily available to answer them. We did this with a loan. There were repairs required by the lender the seller didn't do and the buyer wasn't allowed to pay for those. I stood good for those and pay for them in advance of closing in order to get the loan funded. It was a real leaning experience but I would be happy to do it again. My clients ended up with a great house and that's what matters.”

“Been a long time bidder here, but going downhill recently. They keep on putting the same properties back on auction, going to the extreme. Eventually, buyers will lose interest and Hubzu will lose to other auction sites.”
