Won auction on January 10th. Entered escrow and was to close January 30th. Closing is still being pushed back. We are now looking at May 29th but they are still fumbling paperwork. How long should this take?

I had placed a bid, time got added. I then got out bid. And I was gonna place a bid with 8 minutes left. I clicked on another of your properties and after a few seconds came back to the page my auction was on and it said auction ended. I could of lost track of the time but am almost positive I had 6 to 7 minutes left to bid.

I successfully purchased one auction house on Hubzu, a few years ago. While the investment turned out well, the company representatives only seemed to return my realtor's call when they wanted something. Doing business with them was very one sided, in that they really weren't interested in customer service. I have purchased and own multiple properties, as an investor, so I am not new to auctions. On the c ontrary, I've bought several properties off of county sites through Realforeclosure and found that to be a legitimately handled real estate auction where if you win, you actually get to purchase the property for your winning bid. On the other hand, the Hubzu auction is only a marketing site, on which you can win, but have no idea whether or not you will actually be buying the property. Yet, their is a buyers premium typically listed and no reserve is shown. Even after I won the auction, there was no indication of whether or not by winning bid would be accepted. What kind of auction is that? In the least, its very unprofessional and unethical. At most, it could be a violation of fair trade policies. Perhaps there is enough fine print that Hubzu doesn't have to behave in any fashion. Hubzu states that their online auction process is "transparent". That is definitely not the case. Can a bidder get a good outcome? Yes, it can happen, but you would be better bypassing Hubzu altogether as their auction site does not follow the rules of any auction you've ever seen. Often times properties on Hubzu are marketed through other means, such as the county sites. So, whats the beef? I "won an auction" and after a couple of days, only my realtor who I listed in my online profile, received a notification pertaining to the auction close. The message she received indicated that bidding parties were being invited to raise their bids. It didn't say the reserve wasn't met. That is no different than biggest and best offer, then is it? That's not an auction where I show you my hand, but you don't even tell me if you're in the game or not. In my opinion, Hubzu is a scham.

No communication.I have been dealing with. Hubzu for years. I have missed several houses because of hubzu. Not notifying me of something required or a change. Example 2820 East 24th St. Granite Il. I had back up bid in on this house. Haven't heard anything.. now the house isn't even on the site... That's a real problem. Another time I had won a bid did the paperwork put the required money down. Which was Not returned. Then all communication stopped... actually I should have sued you over that. But I figured you would eventually return my money.. HUBZU almost seems like it's government run.. well at least in it's efficiency;..I used to tell friends about Hubzu now I tell them to avoid Hubzu

The starting bid continues to drop week after week. I’ve been the winning bidder twice. Waste of time and energy having the starting bid so far off of the reserve. The banks that own these foreclosures don’t know what they are worth here on Maui. Hubby has been listing this same house 911 Olioli street in Makawao Maui for almost a year.

It doesnt give you info in the areas nor the type of homes you choose but, rather what they feel are in your price range even if its 10 hours or further away from the state you pick. It's annoying to get an email saying er found houses for you when your looking for a home and when you open the email...its showing you houses in states you would never think about living in. It would have been very helpful and a good site if you guys focused on what the customer request rather than just sending everything you want via email. Smh! Bad marketing. Respectfully Submitted by, An unsatisfied potential home owner.
