“The cut-out ceramic lights I purchased were excellent value for money and look great in my living room. After one of my shades arrived smashed (due to a careless courier) I contacted customer services who arranged a replacement with no hassle. Both the original and replacement orders arrived veryquickly. Overall I'm one happy customer - thank you!”

“The first item I ordered turned up damaged but customer services were very goo about organising collection and a replacement. Unfortunately this too was damaged so had to go back. Thankfully customer services go a third item out quickly and this was ok. So service good but packaging could do with improving.”

“I purchased three 180mm Dia. white round light shades. Generally these were not very good quality, the paint finish on all three were poor. I requested replacements. These were sent quickly, however the replacements were not much better. Poor products this time unfortunately. James Doddrell RIBA.”

“I was disappointed with the product. The marble base seemed to have a stain or at least a dark patch at the bottom that was not part of the natural markings. The hole in the marble base also seemed too big and badly positioned compared to the original design - though I cannot be 100 per cent sure about this. The telescopic post was the right size but it was rounded - nothing like the original and certainly different to the first photograph in a series that the company used on its website to advertise the product. Overall, I thought the lamp was poorly constructed but it was cheap so maybe I should have expected that. I should also add that I have kept it and, now in place in my sitting room, it looks good from a distance. So the only problems I had were in the details. If you are on a tight budget and your expectations are not too high, I would recommend this product. If this lamp were stolen, however, I would look hard to find a more faithful version of the original - and I would be willing to spend a bit more money if necessary - before buying this particular lamp again. As far as service goes, the company was excellent. I complained about the lamp and explained why I was disappointed. They offered me a discount on the purchase price, which I wasn't expecting and did not ask for. So full marks for making the effort to keep me satisfied. They were very accommodating.”
