Our trip with Indus to Egypt was AMAZING!!! There was someone with us every minute to help us manoeuvre the airports, hotels etc as the Egyptian culture is very different from ours. The “tipping” part of the culture was challenging for us but with our guide’s help, manageable. The Nile cruise was beautiful, the food excellent and the side trips fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Indus to anyone travelling to Egypt. Mind blowing experience!!!

First time traveling in a small group on a customized tour. Was a lot of walking and unfortunately there were changes that occurred to the original information presented and itinerary. Some delays in receiving information and clarification. The group was not able to be in the same hotel so I was not in the one with our assigned guide.

As this was our first group trip, we don't have anything to compare it to. The accommodations ranged from ok to excellent, the meals in the hotels were good, and the transportation was good. The tour guide we had was fabulous and if he didn't know the answer to something, he would look it up right then and find the answer. Our bus driver was amazing! He navigated those narrow streets with ease! My only complaint is that our time was just a bit too structured. There was no time built in for exploring an area, and the time allowed for "lunch on your own" was at a designated restaurant. It was a great way to dip our toes into international travel, but really wish there was more "free" time in certain areas.

Was not happy with our trip to the Galapagos. The rest of our group went on a 5 hour snorkel with all the animals and Susan and I walked the beach and were taken to see the land tortoises, which we had toured the day before and walked to see 10 flamingos, which we could have done on our own. Very disappointing. Banks was another stop that we were all disappointed in as well. However, Edison, our guide and Marcos, our driver were amazing. Just disappointed that we weren't on the original boat that had cancelled after we booked our trip. The boat ride to the island was horrendous with everyone throwing up for the 2 hours. The cruiser would have been more delightful.

Had an awesome time on our group trip to Tuscany Italy travelling with Indus Travel. We were kept up to date with schedule/airline timings or accommodation changes. Never an issue.

Overall the trip was very good. We meet a lot of nice people, seen beautiful sights, stayed at very nice hotels and ate delicious meals. However, there were a few glitches. When we were picked up at the airport, our driver dropped us at the wrong hotel and we had to find our own way to the correct location. We arrived in the morning and were unable to get to our rooms as it was too early for check -in. When it came time to meet our driver\tour guide on day 3, no one knew or recognized the name Indus. We later found out that we were on an "Abbey Tour" - which would have been nice to know and saved a lot of confusion. On the day we were to go to Blarney Castle, the Castle was closed due to the weather conditions. I am sure we paid to go to the Blarney Castle and I realize it was not the driver's fault, but we were not offered anything to replace that experience. We were offered something extra that evening to fill our day but that was at our own cost of an EXTRA $35. We did not have a tour guide on our bus, just the driver doing all the driving and the talking. He was very efficient at his job, but did have to concentrate on driving as his first concern. Overall, like I said, it was a good time.

This was my first trip with Industtravel. The hotels were clean service good and the food was all pretty good. The support seemed to be lacking, in general not good communication. Drivers are not always timely, and Water was not available on tours. I would book again since I have a better idea of what to expect.

My friend and I recently returned from the Wonders of Athens, Mykonos Santorini and Crete tours. We had a wonderful time hopping these beautiful islands. Our favourite was Santorini and wished we had added on a couple of extra days which would have been possible through Indus as it was a self guided tour. The optional tours on Mykonos and Santorini were a great way to see more of the islands.

Overall private group tour was good but requisition for non dairy meal are not done on flights n hotels that are not serving buffet despite several reminders. My wife (Lay Choo Fong) was starving throughout her 10 hours return flight from Vancouver to Frankfurt and Munich. Can you withstand having only fruits and crackers on board? (Anup is your tour manager or whatever you call him) We paid for the flights and not getting meals! This is unacceptable. I insist you look into this and have it refunded back to us considering that we are booking on another private group tour to Israel with your so call esteemed company. Please please look into this matter. Do not ignore my complaints as was done before. What can you do for me? At least have the courtesy to get back to me this time which I think I fully deserved it.

Indus has always been a 5-star rating until recently. We had a problem with our bank account being hacked. I tried to contact the Indus rep who set up our trip but never heard a response - even after 3 phone calls and an email. When I finally did get hold of someone 10 days later, they informed me the Rep was out on an emergency. What Indus should have done was added to the voicemail the fact the person was unavailable and offer another name and extension to contact. There was no such message and therefore, I was left to believe my calls were being ignored. This caused a problem, which could have been resolved on day one, to be left hanging longer than needed.

Our travels to Turkey are complete and overall, the tour was very good. I do however have a few comments: -I did not realize that the tour was delivered by a 3rd party company - Global Travel Services. Had I known that, I would probably have booked the tour through them and possibly avoided some of the issues I had concerns with. -The Indus website stated the initial hotel was the Point Hotel Taksim. Based on this information, we booked a non-refundable additional night at the Point Hotel. When we received final information just a few days before our tour, we discovered that the hotel was not the Point Hotel, but rather the Doubletree hotel located several miles away. This caused us an unnecessary move of hotels. -We were traveling for several weeks prior to this tour and requested the travel docs and confirmations. I appreciate that you forwarded some preliminary details, but it was another 9 days later when we received the final docs. -We were overcharged by Indus for an optional tour - Demre-Myra-Kekova at $95 per person. The tour guide was offering this optional excursion for $80. US. -We understood this to be a small group tour with an average of 22 persons. Our tour began with 29 persons for the first 4-5 days and then dropped to 23 persons. Fortunately, this happened to be a very compatible group that followed common courtesies. I have used Indus Travel several times and like their itinerary and they are a good value for the money. Hotels are mostly 3 stars and a few 4 stars. Indus contracts with different tour companies that actually do the tour and so far they have been good. I would like to know who they are using in advance of booking a tour so I could review the company.

When we first booked our trip we selected Delta flights with an add on price. Our trip was booked with TAP Air Portugal (not what we chose and very disappointing) and I had to argue to get a credit for the add on i paid. Indus travel was very good with hotel transfers and itinerary. Bus driver kept getting lost and your manager not very knowledgeable. Optional excursions are a ripoff and we never received vouchers which was a mess. Overall we did have a good trip and would be willing to try Indus again.

Indus Travel has been a good service provider for the trip overall. Questions were answered though sometimes a bit late. All the arrangements made with their affiliates in 3 locations we visited has been quite well done. We had good time and experience on the trip as it is our first package tour. We will plan future trips with Indus.

the tour was very good, the tour guide was good but he was speaking in two different languages which I didn't like it, just speak English everyone understands that. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL IS THAT INDUS NEED TO HAVE A COACH BUS WITH A TOILET, JUST LIKE GATE-1 HAS. BEFORE I BOOK MY NEXT TOUR MY FIRST QUESTION WILL IS BUS IS EQUIPPED WITH A TOILET OR NOT.
