Booked what Interparcel called a 'next day service with UPS' to be then told that the delivery postcode just outside Edinburgh, (which is in mainland UK), is NOT considered part of their next day service. This was never made clear on their website and I was only advised about certain postcodes not falling under the next day service AFTER delivery was finally made, even though they are trying to say I was advised before the booking, which is rubbish. Beware using Interparcel as it seems their service is neither guaranteed nor will they refund on late deliveries. I will NOT be using Interparcel again!

I’m sorry that you have contacted us this way, looking at a quote to the delivery address we did give you an estimated transit time of 2 working days. stated on the quote that some areas with this post code are classed as remote and to check with us first. We have been clear when placing the booking that this area may not be included on the next day service.

Failed to collect on the right day. Then failed to deliver the parcel. Then charged me to return it. Then failed to return it. Then failed to give any compensation. I started a court case, agreed a settlement via a mediation service, and they failed to pay the agreed settlement. Just awful start to finish. Absolute rip off merchants.

Hello, I am sorry that the driver could not locate the address however this does happen on occasion. As we are often not made aware of any issues we offer a self tracking service and therefore rely on customers to track their items and contact in the event of any problems. In this case we were contacted by the carrier and contacted you for further information. Carriers will not call numbers that are not local. The number required is for the receiver so they would not contact someone in a different country. Had a phone number have been provided at the time of booking, or prior to the parcels return, we could likely have resolved any address queries. As this was received after the return was processed we were unable to assist.

I use this company to return orchestral scores to London. Royal Mail is always very expensive so I started using Interparcel. Excellent price and always delivered safely and on time.

Parcel collected by My Hermes on behalf of interparcel 2nd of November. Parcel finally declared lost on the 20th November , it's now the 6th December and no refund . I have no refund for the parcel the £140 pair of walking boots that I was sending back , and no footwear to walk the dog that are waterproof.  Interparcel not helpful at all when I phoned about them chasing up My Hermes i was politely told to go away and they would phone me when they were ready. Phil. AWFUL.

Hi Phil, I am so sorry that your item has been declared as missing in transit. From looking into the order I can see the claim has been started and you will receive your compensation no later than 28 days after the starting date of the claim which was the 21st November. I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincerest apologies for the loss of your parcel and for the inconvenience that this may cause to you or your customer. It is a very rare occurrence for an item to be declared lost, so I am sorry that it has happened on this occasion.

Your service is extremely efficient, and staff have been especially helpful over a question I had about contents. Packages (sent via UPS) invariably arrive exactly on time, or even earlier. I know it's silly, but I feel confident parcels will reach my family every time I use your service, and UPS drivers make me feel a special customer.

Don't believe the hype, booked a collection and have had to take two days off work to get it picked up, which they still haven't! Nobody wants to take responsibility, denying me a refund. Terrible service, may be cheap, but cheap doesn't mean good. Plus whoever the courier actually is doesn't want to deal with it as it was booked through a 3rd party. Save yourself the bother and use someone else.

Hi Alexander, I am really sorry for the delay with this collection and for the problems this has caused to both you and your customer. Our manager has been looking into this with UPS and they have assured us that the collection will be made today by 7pm at the latest.

New UPS driver refused a parcel wrapped in a plastic bag with tape - requesting that the parcel should be wrapped in cardboard, (never had an issue with previous drivers when the same item was wrapped in Plastic) - spoke with UPS who told me to put the parcel in a box and it did not matter what size the box was, Interparcel tried to charge me extra - thus i now use my hermes

Hi Henry, we do clearly advise when the booking is made that any item sent with us would need to be packaged in a cardboard box or completely wrapped in cardboard to ensure it is protected whilst in transit. The drivers do not normally collect any parcels if they have not been packaged correctly. If you do change the packaging in any way, we would need to be contacted directly so that we can amend the details on the order to check if there are any extra charges due to the size change. Unfortunately we have no option but to pass any extra charges applied by the courier to the sender as the parcel was under declared when booked.

This is the third time through Interparcel TNT has not picked up on the day it was supposed to,(Yesterday) so I have to wait AGAIN to be picked up today, last time (couple of months ago) they were supposed to pick up on Thursday but they picked up on Friday so delivery was on a Monday 80 hours to get from Halifax to East Ham could have walked quicker, why do I bother? We have raised this as a formal complaint with TNT to hopefully avoid any issues like this in the future. I can confirm the collection has been rebooked back in for today and the driver will be attempting to collect this soon.
