ipostparcels (owned by UK Mail) were supposed to deliver my parcel to Switzerland in 2 days. It took them 15 days. The contents of the parcel was homemade chocolate truffles, which have over 2 weeks degraded in quality, and are possibly no longer edible. I filled out their online forms, and I included all information they asked for, including what was in the parcel, its value etc etc. I then printed the label it generated, added it to the parcel, and took it to the UK Mail depot. 6 days later I received information that my parcel was being held because it needed an invoice. I explained that it was not a commercial package, but was told that everything being sent outside of the EU required an invoice. This appeared to be true, but I was not prompted to fill anything else at the time of purchase by ipostparcels / UK Mail. I filled in an invoice and sent it back. From this point it still took them another 7 days to deliver the parcel. They attempted a delivery, and contacted me to tell me that there was a problem with the address, so I double-checked this with the recipient - everything was correct. I confirmed the address with ipostparcels / UK Mail and provided the recipient's phone number. I was then told that the real problem was simply that no one had been home. Having provided shocking service, their customer service team sent me a 50% refund on the postage cost. I did not ask for this, and do not accept that as reasonable compensation for me having to chase them every day, and not having my parcel delivered anywhere near on time. At no point in the payment process, or when printing a label, was I flagged to say I would need an invoice. When I handed the parcel to the depot, no one asked me or checked in any way. I have reviewed the information, and there is a small note about invoices, this is all it says: --- What to do next: Make sure your parcel is correctly packaged and you have securely attached your labels. If your parcel is for delivery outside the EU then you must also attach your invoices. Follow our guidelines for packaging domestic and international parcels --- Now, since there is nothing telling me that I need an invoice (nothing has been sold, and I had itemised everything on the paperwork from iportparcels / UK Mail), I had no reason to think I would need one. I followed the link which directs you to their guidelines on packing, but it only says thet 'if' you have invoices they should be in an envelope attached to the container. Nothing about whether I would need one, nothing about why I would need one for non-commercial purposes. An ipostparcels / UK Mail employee told me that filling in the information in the section about contents of the package was what constituted an invoice, and I they believed I had not filled this in. However a user can't progress from the form to the basket unless all fields are filled out, and I included this information. I have used ipostparcels / UK Mail in the past, and they lost my parcel. I cannot recommend anyone use UK Mail or ipostparcels. They, in this instance have outsourced to DHL. I may as well have just used their third parties directly, and next time I will.

Failed to collect my parcel when they said they would. Eventually when they did collect it, they didn’t deliver it to its destination. There are no contact details, customer service is very very poor. Please beware!

Never never use again! If you need to send parcels abroad , don't use this pricks as after leaving the UK they say that is not their problem. The customer service shows disrespect, with incompetent people, just stay away. I used parcel2go and I had an issue with them on collection but after collected arrived quick. Compared with this it is a dream, and I can say I stressed with parcel2go a bit. I work for Hermes and I can say that this couriers to their regular clients don't do these. Collections and deliveries on time. But someone who need to send a parcel from time to time this can be a nightmare. 1 star because is the only way to give my opinion. Never had such stress in my life. As shown on the photo they advertise 5 to 6 days. Today 22 December 2017 parcel still with their partner in Spain.

Terrible unreliable service. I paid next day charges for 3 parcels to be collected in time for a Christmas delivery. 3 days later they still hadn’t been collected and no response from 3 emails over 2 days sent via their contact form which claims they respond within one working day. You can’t call them and they basically led to 3 children not receiving a present on Christmas Day. Awful company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS -AT YOUR RISK & PERIL!!!!! THEY'RE NOT EVEN THE CHEAPEST ! This company is part of UK Mail featured on Channel 4's Dispatches episode 'Secrets of your missing mail' which you can still view on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jF_w7uSnOj0. Incredibly, UK Mail are owned by....DHL ! I paid twice for collections & -my Mother waited in during 2 complete days -nobody turned up, then had to pay a third time to use a reliable courrier (I used DPD who were brilliant !) THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IPOSTPARCELS, YOU CAN'T GET THROUGH TO THEM & THEY HAVE A POLICY OF NO CUSTOMER REPLIES. Obviously they've now taken my money, promised me a refund within 5 days (which obviously hasn't come through & is unlikely to...) & then I'll have to go through the hassle of going to UK small claims (which in itself costs £25 !) -not very convenient when you live abroad. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM & A TERRIBLE, SHAMEFUL REFLECTION TO THE UK LANDSCAPE (& ABROAD) SINCE THE DE-REGULATION UK PARCEL & POSTAGE SERVICES ! IF YOU GET A COLLECTION YOUR ITEMS WILL BE LOST/STOLEN OR BROKEN IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET YOU TO RESEND & YOU WILL HAVE NIGHTMARES DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY ! I recommend you hold UK Mail & DHL responsible and ensure that any items you buy at M & S, House of Fraser etc -companies using UK Mail- are deliberately shipped to you using another courrier ! As a Professional Export Manager, I will also be holding DHL responsable for this outrage & complaining to UK Trading Standards & the European Commission to have these FRAUDSTERS/CON ARTISTS REMOVED ! THE FACT THAT COMPANIES LIKE THIS ARE ALLOWED TO EXIST SHOULD EVEN BE ALLOWED !

Paid for next day delivery only for the parcel to be picked up over a week later with absolutely no notice or reason from the company! They said my parcel would be delivered the next day and it wasn't attempted until days later, I wasn't home as there's only so long you can put your life on hold to wait for a parcel. Was told everyday after that it would be delivered that day only for it to get moved to the day after every time. I checked again on Friday when my parcel would arrive and was informed that it's on it's way back to the sender after one unsuccessful and very late delivery attempt. On top of that the parcel was left outside the senders house completely unhidden so anyone could have taken it and the box was extremely damaged and being held together by tape. Absolutely shocking customer service too, had to comment on multiple public Facebook posts to recieve any kind of recognition and even then nothing was done. Shocking, would give 0 stars if I could

I had payed for a collection of my parcel, and I was informed that the driver will pick up my parcel on the 12th December, and that it would be delivered the next day to the recipient 13th December. I was texted that they would pick up my parcel from 15:54 to 17:54, however, I have been waiting at home all day and still no one has come to pick up my parcel! I treid to find a contact number for ipostparcels but they don't have one, so I sent them a tweet and no response! I will definately never use this courier again, they have basically stolen my money, because they have not provided the service that I paid for. I advise anyone thinking of using ipostparcels to NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Parcel delayed/lost They advise you contact them. No telephone Then block every single possible way of contact. Never reply to emails or queries. I don’t think I will ever see my parcel again and I don’t think I will get any compensation although I paid extra insurance And no tel line. Their complaints line says this number does not accept incoming calls. Need I say anymore. The absolute worst company I’ve ever ever dealt with I advice people NOT to use them. Really bad

I booked a pickup for Wednesday 29 December. Since on their website they state customers would be sent a timeslot on the morning of the pickup/delivery I was waiting for that but I never got any. So I started to try and get hold of their so-called Customer Service, both on Twitter and on Facebook because there is no phone number. About an hour in I was asked for the consignment numbers which I provided straight away, and then nothing. For 3 hours just silence. 4 hours in still no update. Called the local depot in Croydon and was promised the parcels would be picked up before the end of the day. 7.30pm came and I was still waiting. Called the depot again and was told the local driver just arrived back there. Then I was told I was in luck and someone would do the pickup within half an hour. 8.30pm came and I was still waiting. Called them again and was told all drivers had gone home for the day. The next morning I was given several excuses ranging from system problem to a wrong driver got the information about the pickup to the usual driver didn't show up and for some reason the replacement driver didn't pick the parcels up. I then cancelled the order at 9.30am on Thursday and yet the UKMail driver showed up at my house in the afternoon. I informed him but was still sent an email the next morning telling me they'd attempt the pickup again. The depot then told me that they were not informed of the cancellation. The service provided by them is absolutely appalling and I would give 0 stars if I could!

Absolutely rubbish tried personal parcel to check how good they are before using as business carrier wouldn't give it 1 star if I could. Parcel should be collected 21 Nov 17 for delivery. Still waiting pm 22 nov 17 Nov for response 8 hours after they should have responded . Label wouldn't print as it was print protected. Will not use again.

Ipost Worst courier service I’ve had the misfortune of using and I’ve used a few!!! Ipost collected my parcel on1st Nov, paid for next day delivery yet tracking shows parcel is still in delivery depot since 7th November. Account details claim courier has tried delivering. Recipient is 70 year old disabled lady who is practically housebound who informed me that no one tried delivering on either of the specified dates claimed by Ipost (2nd & 7th November) when she was in and no card was put through her door to confirm delivery attempts– lies No.1 & 2. On Ipost’s website it claims if you ring their customer service number you will speak to one of their advisors to resolve your issue. I tried calling both Ipost and UKMail customer service numbers only to get the same annoying automated system that gives you no option to talk to an operator– lie No.3! I have sent 2 messages via their online contact us form requesting that someone contact me for an explanation why they have failed to deliver the parcel on the 2nd November and the subsequent 5 day delay in the second attempt but received no response on either occasion even though website claims I would receive a response within 24hrs – lie No.4. Ipost have both mine and the recipient’s mobile phone numbers but have failed to contact either of us at any time to resolve delivery. If someone does not get in touch with me to arrange re-delivery to the recipient (an elder lady with a disability) or return my item I’ll have no option but to contact trading standards and the police for advice on my legal rights!!

Picked the parcel up two days late. Received the parcel all the side smashed in and broken glass inside. Sent me an email saying I had signed for it when I hadn't and the driver had left it outside the door and scuttled off. Lucky a workman came just after and I found it there. So who signed for my parcel, the driver clearly engaged in forgery of a signature to avoid delivering damaged goods. Last time I use this company.

I had used this company a few times with only a few minor hiccups but will never use them again. I tried to send a parcel to our son in Australia, I completed their paperwork as I had done previously and attached to parcel. It was a traumatic period for us as we were moving, not a good experience for pensioners in their 70's anyway. We found a box of personal items our son left in 2013 when he moved to Australia, not high value but great sentimental value to him. We detailed the contents as clearly as we could but apparently not to someone's satisfaction there. we were told we had to refill in one form or it would be returned in 2 days and we would be charged, this was the day before we moved and we were in a mess, no printer. I informed them if they returned the parcel we would have moved. The major problem with this company as that they are so difficult to contact. My account said returned and signed for, when clearly it wasn't. I tried to phone them and managed to get a phone number from someone trying to be helpful, the phone was answered by a woman who screamed how did you get this number and slammed the phone down. We are now in Dublin and contacted them by message many times, all they do is automatic reply and give a case number saying they will contact within 24 hours BUT NEVER DO, I have many unanswered case numbers. If everything goes well this company is ok but in this imperfect world you will not get a reply from this dreadful company, DO NOY USE
