I am the sender. I wish I could give a higher score. Many aspects are good. They allow cosmetics, the delivery staff are pleasant, I like the way I can order online. It is the communication and report system that is poor. There is no way to get hold of anyone at short notice. It can take days to get a response. By that time it is often too late. I can often detect a problem with my order, early. I suspect it has a very understaffed customer support department that also has poor systems in place. The quickest way of accessing support is Facebook. Odd.

I sent a parcel to Germany. The last time it was scanned was at Tunbridge Wells depot. The item was not received. The item was valued at £80 and the cost of postage was £10. I paid for the parcel to be delivered and signed for. It was not delivered and signed for - it was lost by ipostparcel at their depot in Tunbridge Wells. After investigations the parcel was assigned the label "lost" The incident was totally the fault of ipostparcels but they have decided to only accept liability to the value of £25. The item was not damaged in transit - which could be caused by bad packaging -it was lost which is very poor indeed for a company that is earning its living delivering things. Although I always pay for items to be tracked and signed for I have had several communications from buyers who have drawn my attention that indeed the item was NOT signed for but left on a step somewhere. Again taking money under false pretences.

I booked a collection for next day delivery, the driver did not arrive. I waited all day literally. This is torturing!. Whether it is a mistake or not. One time is enough not to use them again. Don't even bother to use their online communication system, no one answers. You need to really make the number to ring for someone to answer the phone, you'd be lucky to get a quick response and your problem solved. Huge inconvenience and waste of time!

I gave two stars because the service is fine as long as there are no problems. You cannot speak to anyone, and emails are often igI]nred. I sent a parcel to the US, but delivery failed (also note that it has been marked as 'delivered;) Ipost told me that I would have to pay £49.14 to return it to me. I agreed to them taking it from my pre pay account. They took the money but weeks later have not returned my parcel. After managing to get a reply (through their Facebook page) I have been told that they didn't take the money and will dispose of my property if I don't put another £50 in my pre pay account. So that will be almost £100, plus £28 (shipping costs) and still no guarantee that I will get my parcel back.

I haves used iPost quite a number of times and usually been very happy, somI want this review to be a fair one. What went wrong? - a five day delay in collection - the web-site seems to have a one day delay built-in, so some of my (increasingly irate over time) emails were answered a full day after I sent them, some not at all - a 2 day delay in delivery - the tracking information appeared to change, meaning I felt I could not trust it - other couriers pirate a 'live' text service, iPost does not My (rather expensive) package was eventually delivered, but I was not made aware of this but had to find out by coming home and finding it in my designated (safe place), but in the rain. ASurely the driver could have considered leaving st a neighbours?

The parcel was left outside our office door and according to your email - "Your delivery driver has left your order 40617530256634 safe in your porch. We have left you card reference 6985401 to advise." There was someone in the office and no one knocked or left a card!

Pro:Good time management. Con: Box arrived in poor condition, crushed with the lid partly open as a result. Having spoken with the seller of the items within the package, an item that was packed was not in the box when it was unpacked and therefore must have fallen out. The Seller will now resend a replacement at an additional cost to themselves. This is unfair and the fault of the courier company.

Driver dumped parcel on doorstep and was back in his van before my partner got to the door. Wasn't bothered whether parcel was collected yet I received a text to say it had been signed for which was totally untrue. Also, this email was not sent to the correct name. I'm not Gibson!

I received notification of delivery between 17.05 and 18.05 by e-mail. Delivery made at approximately 15.40 instead. I had requested a "you're next" delivery notification which I received at around 17:15 and a "left in the porch" delivery notification at 17:25 for a delivery that had actually happened at 15:40 (which wasn't left in the porch). Luckily I was in when delivery was made so no actual harm done. My conclusion is either your systems don't work properly or your drivers are trying to finish early and not telling you.

Notification of delivery made on day of delivery, not when it was picked up from the supplier. It was only by chance I was in to receive it. The parcel was left in an insecure place and could easily have been stolen. it could have been better hidden.

Eight days to deliver a '72 hour' service. No thanks. A scheme where I have to present a signed form for the driver to authorise 'just leave it in the porch'?! Parcel had come apart, whether mis packed or badly handled, was re-wrapped using parcel tape labelled TNT. Where have I heard that name before?

The collection time window was advised the day before but the following day no-one turned up! It was difficult to actually speak to anyone although another time was then emailed to me for the following day. It was subsequently collected and delivered satisfactorily but a no show is not good when people are staying in specifically for this.

I accidently found my parcel in my wheelie bin - had I not had a Macdonalds for lunch in my car, I wouldn't have had to look in my bin and it would have been taken away in the dust cart this morning. There was nothing through the door to say the parcel had been put in the bin!!

I would like to apologise on behalf of ipostparcels for the below standard level of service on this occasion.

I was happy that my parcel was recieved promptly but frankly, I was very disappointed in the delivery driver, who did not knock my door but placed a slip through my letterbox and leaving my parcel outside. This was very ignorant and i was specifically in the house because the parcel was to be delivered.
