Ref: Consignment No. 82611403211866 CC Mr Kane Executive Chairman UKMail Plc. I am writing to you re: the above. On the 12/2/16 I had occasion to send a parcel to Roma Italy all seemed well until about a week later, I received a complaint from my customer that he had been delivered a box off cosmetics, when he ordered and I sent him a Macerator. I immediately got in touch with your service dept. and they issued me a number and said it would be investigated. I heard nothing I went to your office and was inform that on the 13/2/16 the parcel was relabelled at 3.12pm. as to why I and your staff could only guess. I again complained through your system and was given another number. I was then asked via your system and various subsequent numbers, Questions like where were the cosmetics addressed to and the phone number of my customer which was on the original consignment note. In fact the only thing I got from your system was a whole host of numbers, which are all dealt with as original complaints and leaves your customers with no redress whatever. I at present am £180 out of pocket have an Ex customer in Rome who (quite rightly as had his money refunded) who will never deal with me again. I have paid you for delivering a parcel to Rome which you have failed to complete. I have heard nothing from your system apart from them closing several of the numbers they have issued. Would you kindly inform me as to what is happening?

Ipost Worst courier service I’ve had the misfortune of using and I’ve used a few!!! Ipost collected my parcel on1st Nov, paid for next day delivery yet tracking shows parcel is still in delivery depot since 7th November. Account details claim courier has tried delivering. Recipient is 70 year old disabled lady who is practically housebound who informed me that no one tried delivering on either of the specified dates claimed by Ipost (2nd & 7th November) when she was in and no card was put through her door to confirm delivery attempts– lies No.1 & 2. On Ipost’s website it claims if you ring their customer service number you will speak to one of their advisors to resolve your issue. I tried calling both Ipost and UKMail customer service numbers only to get the same annoying automated system that gives you no option to talk to an operator– lie No.3! I have sent 2 messages via their online contact us form requesting that someone contact me for an explanation why they have failed to deliver the parcel on the 2nd November and the subsequent 5 day delay in the second attempt but received no response on either occasion even though website claims I would receive a response within 24hrs – lie No.4. Ipost have both mine and the recipient’s mobile phone numbers but have failed to contact either of us at any time to resolve delivery. If someone does not get in touch with me to arrange re-delivery to the recipient (an elder lady with a disability) or return my item I’ll have no option but to contact trading standards and the police for advice on my legal rights!!

I have to say this is the worst service I have ever known. Four days I have waited for a collection (which I paid next day delivery for) in a bright blue building on a short street with a big sign of the store I work in. Each time they have not been able to find it. The person I am sending to is going mad, I am having to stay at work longer for the allocated times I get texted every day and even the person receiving the parcel has looked on Google maps and can't believe it. Please get your act together iPostParcels.com/UKMail.com you have now cost me a lot of time and money and all I want you to do is pick up a parcel. At least call me to ask where it is if you are struggling so bad (not sure how you could be) you know you have my number because you text me everyday with a time slot.

Was sending crockery and was aware no compensation - understood. I didnt notice that they did not compensate for loss either. They collected parcel - 2 weeks later didnt arrive. Tracker didnt show past the collection details. Eventually said it was in Leicester warehouse somewhere. Had sizes and description of parcel - large and heavy box of crockery. They never found it. I had to refund the buyer the money for the crockery and the postage. So double out of pocket. How can a company operate on the basis that because it is crockery they are justified not to pay out when they lose it in transit. Surely it doesnt matter - they lost the parcel. Cannot speak to anyone on the phone. They are not interested. Do not ever use them.

i strongly advise that you do not use this ipost. I was using My Hermes for over 3 years with no issues. However, ipost claim next day delivery and so i have tried for the last 2 months and sent around 50 parcels. What a shambles. I have lost count of how many parcels have been late, one was 2 weeks late. Others just dont reach their destination. Some say they have been left in a safe place but no one can find it. I dont receive complaints but since trying iPost i have received nothing but complaints. Needless to say i have reverted back to the professionals My Hermes who do a fantastic job. If you dont want to parcel to arrive use ipost, if you want it to get to where it is supposed use someone else. You have been warned. Last thing, you cannot speak to anyone on the phone, apparently they dont have a number you can speak to someone on. I wonder why???

SHOCKING service parcel has been out for delivery for nearly one month, I have had only one response from the compant and that was today that is after about 20 emails, only one gent at Norsk has attempted to help me , turns out they sent to wrong place in germany then returned it to the depot then damaged the box then sent out again to the wrong sorting depot then sent it back where it has sat since last week ... they originally collect it on the 9th March !!! wont respond , dont care and wont tell me how to claim on the insurance i took out ... (but on line it says it can take 3 months ) goods are worth £250 .. i WANT IT SORTING NOW THIS IS DISGUSTING TREATMENT !!!

Such a terrible experience with ipostparcels (also what an awful company name!). I shipped something from Glasgow to Vienna, and they tell me delivery wasn't possible. The recipient informed me that she was never called or contacted, no messages or notices were left about how to proceed further. The company tells me that the parcel is now back in the depot in Glasgow, waiting for me to pick it up - IF I agree to an outrageous fee of £47 (more than 3 TIMES the amount it cost me to send in the first place). This is insane - if you want your customers to be satisfied with your work, even if you don't deliver - DO NOT charge them to pick up their parcel. The delivery is the failure of ipostparcels. Awful company, bad customer service. Tacky name. Never again. I'll be sure to share my experience with anyone thinking of using this weak company.

I had used this company a few times with only a few minor hiccups but will never use them again. I tried to send a parcel to our son in Australia, I completed their paperwork as I had done previously and attached to parcel. It was a traumatic period for us as we were moving, not a good experience for pensioners in their 70's anyway. We found a box of personal items our son left in 2013 when he moved to Australia, not high value but great sentimental value to him. We detailed the contents as clearly as we could but apparently not to someone's satisfaction there. we were told we had to refill in one form or it would be returned in 2 days and we would be charged, this was the day before we moved and we were in a mess, no printer. I informed them if they returned the parcel we would have moved. The major problem with this company as that they are so difficult to contact. My account said returned and signed for, when clearly it wasn't. I tried to phone them and managed to get a phone number from someone trying to be helpful, the phone was answered by a woman who screamed how did you get this number and slammed the phone down. We are now in Dublin and contacted them by message many times, all they do is automatic reply and give a case number saying they will contact within 24 hours BUT NEVER DO, I have many unanswered case numbers. If everything goes well this company is ok but in this imperfect world you will not get a reply from this dreadful company, DO NOY USE

When things go wrong???? Sent a parcel to Glasgow which arrived smashed I paid for insurance but was told it wasn’t covered They were happy to take my money for the cover. It doesn’t cover glass pottery or anything not flat packed There is no one to contact just email rhetoric. I have an unhappy customer and am £300 down. Looking at the damage the item has been thrown or dropped from a huge height This company may be cheap but it’s very amateur

I would give it zero if I could. If anyone is thinking of using this service do not do it. It is not worth the aggravation or loss of business and standing with your customers or clients. Worst service you can possibly recieve. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE IPOSTPARCELS!!!!!!!

THE WORST COURIER COMPANY IN THE UK – DO NOT USE IPARCELS! This is an updated version of my complaint on uktrustipilot posted about 5 pm this evening. I ended up with them via the DHL website. I wanted DHL. Somehow I got them (they used to be DHL, but are still 'part of the group'). It is very sneaky to be directed to them from a DHL website. I feel duped because I wanted DHL not some cowboys. These cowboys are the pits. I paid for next day delivery. Should have been delivered on Tuesday. Today is Friday just gone 1701 hours and I am still waiting for them to deliver. Every day since Monday I have called up 024 76 93 7777 only to be told a load of nonsense by Tom D... Harry Steve Darren or whoever picks up the phone and tries to to do a job, but just reads the top line of the rubbish on the screen to me and asks me what the problem is and how they can help me. Help me?! Every day, repeating the evolving story to a different person. Every step of the way, some malfunction has emerged. From the very start, the collection point falsely entered the day and time of collection, to provide extra time for the delivery. Then they denied I had paid for next day delivery (I had their own confirmation to prove it so they gave me a 10% refund, wow). Their people are not swiping and keeping records so the progress cannot be tracked. I have kept screenshots, all with time and date, to evidence the incompetence and fiddling of records. People promise to call back to update, but of course they do not do so. People promise it will be delivered 'today by xyz hours' but they fail to deliver. Sent in a written query on Tuesday, today is Friday and no one has responded. Four days of waiting at home for nothing, utterly wasted. Four days of wasted phone calls and stress. I am going insane. My package WAS urgently required four days ago, these people are a disaster! My case is apparently expedited and it makes no difference. I would not be surprised if my item never arrives (nicked, in which case I am going to the Police) or arrives destroyed or tampered with (Police report again). The reports of the condition that delayed and non-delayed items have arrived in is terrifying and heart-breaking. And, I will not be surprised if when this happens, I will have a new dispute with them in relation to insurance (I took out full cover - using their own website - on the package). There are so many complaints about them not paying for damage and delays either. Playing football with parcels is a common description, as is the phenomenon of couriers throwing items over the fence. About 2 hours after I posted my original complaint about ipost on uktrustpilot, this suddenly appeared on the ipost screen: 04th August 2017 15:00 Delivery Attempted. 03 August 2017 12:04 Pls call Utter rubbish. No delivery was attempted. I was at home, door wide open to ensure I would not miss them. NOBODY CAME TO DELIVER. And of course, nobody emailed or sms-ed or called me about the planned delivery (despite all my irate phonecalls). As for the belated appearance of ‘Pls call’ on 03 August 2017, it is hilarious. I have screen shots showing this message was not there at 04 August 2017 at 1746 hours or any time before then. I am utterly devastated and emotionally exhausted by this horrible, horrible experience. I have looked at the many many complaints online (the good ones are highly dubious). These are the standard responses I can expect: I am very sorry to hear this, please accept my apologies for any problems you have experienced. OR Please contact us via the contact us page on the UKMail website at http://ukmail.com/need-help/contact-us and someone will look into your query further, please also provide a consignment number Talk about adding insult to injury. The first is pathetic. Who cares about an insincere apology, what the heck are they going to do about it?! The second is ludicrous. They state this knowing full well that they do not even answer their lousy ‘contact us’ page. This is what I am expecting and it is not good enough. There is no doubt, I am not alone in my experience. This is most diabolically useless and incompetent courier company in the UK. And to beat HERMES is quite an accomplishment. Does anyone reading this know if there is an Ombudsman or statutory body that all of us who have been so detrimentally affected by this dreadful company can complain to? I have tried to locate the details of the senior management listed at https://www.ukmail.com/about/meet-the-board but cannot get anything online. What are our rights as consumers?

I haves used iPost quite a number of times and usually been very happy, somI want this review to be a fair one. What went wrong? - a five day delay in collection - the web-site seems to have a one day delay built-in, so some of my (increasingly irate over time) emails were answered a full day after I sent them, some not at all - a 2 day delay in delivery - the tracking information appeared to change, meaning I felt I could not trust it - other couriers pirate a 'live' text service, iPost does not My (rather expensive) package was eventually delivered, but I was not made aware of this but had to find out by coming home and finding it in my designated (safe place), but in the rain. ASurely the driver could have considered leaving st a neighbours?

Real time tracking showed my delivery to be expected between 12:30 and 1:30pm. I requested a text when I was the next delivery and popped to the shop. I returned home at 11:30 (the tracking showed that the driver was at stop number 19 and we were stop number 30) however when I opened the door I had a "we missed you" card stating the parcel was left in my red bin on the street! Needless to say it was empty and I assumed they thought better of it and would call again at the appointed time... Sure enough I got a text at 12:45 saying we were the next delivery.... However, no courier came and my missing package was marked as "delivered" at 12:46 shortly followed by this review email..... I have since had to replace the order. Truly appalling service.
