Lovely independent store. Beautifully laid out and maintained. Shop there regularly and have always found staff to be pleasant and helpful. Online experience is somewhat disappointing and needs updating if they are serious about offering this service to their customers. Slow response and stock levels not reliable.

The older lady working on the Tom Ford counter is just dreadful. I’ve encountered her a few times over the years, and she is so rude, judgemental & unhelpful. I spend a lot of money on Tom Ford, however will always refuse to buy from her (after a terrible experience with her about 4 years ago) There’s another lady who is just lovely. This one is dreadful. I see I’m not the only one who thinks so. Come on Jarrolds, listen to your loyal customers and sort this out!

Jarrolds is a great store, lovely to have such an independent store, after all most independent stores seem to have disappeared. Shopping choices are good in jarrolds, could do with more choice for clothing. One thing that was noticeable were the staff, they really were not the most friendly staff or helpful,: Reiss staff unfriendly, Whistles staff the same. Women on the shoes were just standing around chatting and staring at others. More friendly attentive staff would be great for the over all experience. Food hall is great. Clothing stores need refreshing and updating like the food hall.

Firstly, i have not received my order for 2 air jacks, Ordered and Paid for in early April 2023 from my USA card. Secondly all my emails are being ignored. Thirdly every time i try to contact Jarrod's from Australia a pre-recorded voice advises that there is a temporary problem and to try again later. I sent the shipping Company ( 17Track ) a request for info and help but have not received any to date. The tracking info advised that i had to pick up the items but did not advise where or when. Then to add insult to injury a few weeks later it advised that the items had been delivered. This is not possible as my Workshop and Residence are beside one another and someone it there 7 days a week.

The lady on the Tom Ford counter, was very rude and off putting. No interest in selling you the product after she looks you up and down. Leaves you with a bad experience.

Purchased Tom Ford perfume online from Jarrolds but it does not smell the same it is giving me a headache and I cannot smell the true notes. I have always bought it in the past. The bottom of the bottle seems to have extra writing on it and a different batch number in black instead of gold. I looked up information off the bottle and it's a lab in Petersfield ?estee lauder its not USA. Spent £140 and with the cost of living going up this was a luxury treat. Is it fake? I cannot check anywhere else as a lot if stores do not stock it.

Please avoid the Sales Advisor on Tom Ford counter. Her manor is somewhat rude and she seems to dislike you touching the product. Very unfriendly and curt! Certainly won't be buying from her.

Had a lovely shopping evening in Jarrolds on the 9th November. Staff were very nice and very attentive. Great service from Kim in the food hall nice to have someone so pleasant.

My first online order will be my last. They should update their website, 8 items ordered and now they say only 2 of them to send. Shame on them

I have just relocated to Norwich so this was my first visit to this store. I waited in line in the men’s department to pay. There were three staff behind the till two chatting to each other totally ignoring customers, a manager and a new staff member (I could hear their conversation). Eventually he looked at me and said are you paying by card, yes I said and his response was “ she be with you shortly “. With this another staff member came along served the customer he was with and walked away ignoring the other customers waiting. On getting to to the desk there was no greeting or apology just “you paying with a card darlin’” which I did. “Do you want a bag sweetie” she asked” no thank you was my reply. She put the receipt in the pocket of the trousers I was buying and pushed them over. Sarcastically I said “thank you for your service and she replied ok!” I really think it’s important to support independent local business but with appalling customer service like this why would you?

I bought a bedspread on line at a great price but was unsure which one of two colours to choose and have to commend Linda in bedlinen who described the colours perfectly and the one I choose is excellent. The free delivery was good/ I would love to take a trip to the store and have lunch as the on line pictures give the impression of a wonderful shopping experience to be enjoyed. My on line shopping was great and again thank you Linda.

I recently moved to Norwich and spent a lot of money in Jarrolds on furniture. At the time of settlement I asked if the cashier could change a £20 note for 2 x £10 notes, to which I was emphatically told that it is the companies policy not to change pound notes. After handing over a hefty final payment I would have thought that protocol could have been waived to retain a customer, but it appears that is not the case. Sad really.

Avoid the beauty section treatment if you can. Customer service is absolute disaster. Luxury is a business trick, they fool you with. And you wont get better if you complain, but will get a polity shut up from their manager.

Bought the 2018 limited edition YSL cusion foundation. But received the different one with online pictures ,and I believed it’s 2017’s limited foundation. Contact them, been told maybe they just took the wrong pictures which Idid not understand. It’s not a acceptable explanation.Ask me “do you want return?It’s misleading customers. They let me took a photo and send it to Them. I e-mailed to them on 19th, still not reply yet on 25th. Just keep it in mind, even you do not mind the old version, but the production date is August 2017. Be careful if you want to buy the same product.

The staff in this store went out of their way to find the item we were looking for and once they had found it arranged for it to be delivered to our home address. Excellent customer service. Polite, helpful staff. Good product knowledge.

Although I did not visit the store, I ordered a dress online. Everything went smoothly, dress came they had gone to the trouble of wrapping it nicely in tissue paper so it was perfect:). I live in the North West of England so delighted everything worked fine.
