“The course I took (BSL Level 1 & 2) had a few mistakes - the videos were sometimes given without the corresponding translation, meaning for some sections I had to just hope I had the answers right. Another problem I noticed a lot is that nobody seems to be monitoring the course so when it invites you to 'ask a question' about the topic, there are people who asked questions 4 years ago and the team has still not responded, which is a shame. On a more positive note, the customer services team responded quickly and efficiently to my query. I had paid for my certificate upfront and yet the website was still trying to charge me for it after completing the course, but a quick email to the John Academy team resolved it in no time and I received my certificate without having to pay again.”

“The course was portrayed as a sophisticated, practical course with detailed modules but I was presented with a few sentences followed by a YouTube video for each module with numerous spelling mistakes and poor grammar throughout. The "certificate" was paid for in advance using a deal I was offered but no code was provided so I was unable to obtain my certificate. i will not be recommending this website to anyone else. A total waste of money!”

“Just completed the car maintenance course which I am glad to say I did not pay the full price for, merely a fraction at around a tenner. I highly doubt the "claimed" RRP prices are genuine as I would have been devastated if I had paid the full price of nearly £200!! The course itself was actually quite helpful and I did take quite a lot away from it. The videos at the end of each section (even if lifted from Youtube) was relevant and informative. The final exam on the other hand was laughable. Riddled with spelling mistakes, missing words and some of the questions did not have any grammatical logic whatsoever. It is a shame you can't attach screenshots on here. I would not recommend paying the extra money for the certificate at all. No reputable business would take it seriously. Save your money and just give yourself a pat on the back instead. All in all cheap and cheerful if you know nothing at all about car maintenance I would say for a tenner it is worth while. If you know the basics and want a deeper understanding like myself...I would give it a miss.”

“Hi I finished two courses and I dispute the certificate received. I didn't get any answer to all my emails about Course Certificate PDF vs Diploma Level 3 in : Aromatherapy, Holistic & Massage Therapy Course In your presentation shows Level 3 Diploma. But I have a big doubt about it. I received a pdf certificate and I paid for Diploma and the transcript. After so many phone calls and emails.... your answer is zero. I received a pdf certificate when I fail the test, in February. When I tried again and paid in full, in March 2021, scoring 125 p, I should get the right Diploma with the transcript, paid in full. After my complaints... no answer. I won't take any other courses because is wasting time and wasting money.”

“I took the Teaching Assistant Complete Course (TA, SEN, Autism, ADHD & Dyslexia). The content in a whole is good but they are somehow disjointed, like they are not designed to be a one full course. Some chapters are delivered in American way and some others in British. Many duplications, poor formatting - the last chapter of Teaching Methodologies was impossible to understand, many parts have poor editing and makes you have to guess if the next header is part of the previous or a new one. Some of the supporting videos that they attached on each chapter can be just weird, like the first chapter and the video content delivery is a very thick ethnical accented lady (not British at all), the video doesn't work and cut off in the middle. I ordered the course with PDF certificate and yet it was not readily available on my dashboard when I completed the course and pass the final exam. I have to contact them by email and promised for it to be delivered within 24 hours and yet I still have to email them to check again after 36 hours. All and all it's a good basic course to get a basic understanding and certificate but not quite the best.”

“I am so glad I came across this website.. Quite amazed by the content of the study .....So far I have done 3 courses .. while I purchased another 4 courses which I need to finish shortly....The best part is that the courses are quite comprehensive and in depth. The price of the courses is affordable and the additional certificates with accredited qualification are a big big plus and on top of this the team is very cooperative. I wish many students enrol these courses. Thank you John Academy !!”

“I decided to try john academy while waiting for open university degree course to start and I was very impressed with what it had to offer as the prices were so cheap I didn't think it would be up to much but I am now on my 6th course and cant fault them and its acteditied so it's not a pretend certificate it's a recognized body and qualifications”
