They may withdraw funds from your account without prior notice. Customer service fails to comprehend your request to cancel immediately. Despite attempting to cancel, the website does not allow cancellation. The website prohibits cancellation, which is unprofessional. According to the law, a reminder should be sent before renewal, but none was received; instead, the site automatically withdrew funds. I am aware that you have terms and conditions, however, according to contract law, it is obligatory to notify the customer with a payment reminder and grant them a minimum of 14 days to withdraw should they want to do so. This is particularly vital in the current period of financial uncertainties. Course materials are subpar and long. The quality isn't that good. STAY AWAY

No recommend!!!! I done one course ( know about mould ) when I got my certificate my supervisor look at me like I robbed him he ask me did I take fake certificate they wrote wrong spelling ( mold ) not well educated people in management I take one course with high speed training even certificate look authentic

This is clearly a foreign company acting as a uk based company. Their content is mostly wrong and inaccurate. I am not surprised to see countless others taking in by this online scam and can only fault myself for not checking first by reading the reviews. They have now been reported to the governing body for the better business bureau and the trading standards agency.

I'm trying to do the final exam and the system doesnt save my answers and i have to pay again for 'failing' the exam.

i have done a course in john academy - diploma in safety . completed the course and waited 24 hours for the certificate, it has been 48 hours now I didn't get my certificate when I tried to contact them there is no reply from their side- total waste of money.

As others have said, DO NOT TRUST John Academy. I did the Housekeeping Diploma course which had about 5 minutes of reading in each unit (just lists mostly with no videos as one would expect from a purely practical occupation) as I hoped it would be helpful in my current position as a nanny looking to move into house management. The final exam was a joke - extremely poorly written with ridiculous multi-choice answers and will not allow me to check the results. I now must pay £4 to retake. Well, I will not do this and do not believe that one would ever pass the terrible exam! Complete waste of time and money. AVOID!

Professional chef course was an absolute waste of time and money. I learnt nothing. The scripts were badly written and for the American market. Mostly no useful information and frequently just suggested looking things up on the internet. The 20 chapters of recipes at the end were basically pancakes and crepes, waffles, omelettes and french toast. I thought I would get a complimentary electronic pdf certificate, but sadly you have to pay an extortionate amount. A very bad experience indeed and therefore I have no interest in doing any of their other courses

I found this Company by accident.I am a customer of Oplex Careers and they are fantastic!I do not know why I chose to study with John Academy but I suppose I just wanted a change.I hold 40 PDF certificates with Oplex Careers. To be honest the course content here was superb I enjoyed it I think they have a better standard of course contents,videos were good for me. What I am not happy about is that they make you keep on paying meaning the money you pay in the beginning is not a one off.TOTAL SCAM,BECAREFUL,YOU WONT GET A CERTIFICATE FROM THE FIRST PAYMENT.ITS EVEN NOT WORTH PAYING FOR THE SECOND TIME BECAUSE THEY MAY NOT EVEN PROVIDE THE CERTIFICATE TO YOU.TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME,BEWARE,MONEY DOES NOT COME FROM TREES,WITH THE PANDEMIC ITS EVEN WORSE! GO ELSEWHERE,STUDY WITH OPLEX CAREERS,THEY ARE HONEST.

We clearly state on the course page either you buy it on our website or from a third-party reseller that you have to pay for the certificate separately. We understand it may become disappointing latter if you do not notice that when purchasing the course, however, there are learners who do the courses to refuel their knowledge and don't actually wish to purchase the certificate. A complete waste of money, i bought a cake decorating course in the hopes it would help my career but it was all a bog joke, it used YouTube videos and just extracts from old outdated books. The "exams" are impossible to pass, the questions are worded as if a young child where writing them such as "What is the optional time if someone fails to attend classes at the morning?" and "Which of the following should you keep informed with but it’s not allowed in a broadcast?" and has more questions on other icing schools than actually decorating cakes. Really dissapointed.

One of the worst services I have received for a long time. The course itself nothing special. Waist of the money, and they never answer the phones, and if they do, they don't follow up your request. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. NOT WORTH IT.

The diploma in bee farming course is a total joke and is totally misleading and not worth anywhere near the price charged. In the course information it states each section of the modules will take between half an hour and an hour. All you have provided is a minute worth of text to read. The video is broken. You do not have permission to use youtube videos for this chargeable course. Where is your course material? Putting a bit of text on the screen and videos taken from you tube that are 2 - 14 minutes does not match the course information. You state the course takes 14 hours and 10 minutes. You do not provide content for 14 hours of study. I want a refund for being misled.

Disappointed that I completed 100% and the certificate appeared then disappeared when requested to print. This is now not available.

The MTD - HMRC course does not worth a penny. It is not updated and half of the course is about the instructor and her awesomeness. Don't give a penny for that.

The course was portrayed as a sophisticated, practical course with detailed modules but I was presented with a few sentences followed by a YouTube video for each module with numerous spelling mistakes and poor grammar throughout. The "certificate" was paid for in advance using a deal I was offered but no code was provided so I was unable to obtain my certificate. i will not be recommending this website to anyone else. A total waste of money!
