Absolutely the best store. I ordered online, it was clearly stated I would be charged for returns and gave me options before I placed the order, unlike some different shoe stores I ordered from. It took a few days until they got my shoes to delivery company but kept me informed and very next morning, I had them with me. The shoes itself were very reasonably priced, especially with the seasonal discount and amazing quality, inside and out, great fit and comfortable. Shoes worth 4 times as much that were recommended to me by everyone had nothing on the quality, service and information I got from here.

Had an issue with some shoes I bought and Jones staff were excellent dealing with my query. Quick and efficient and with a smile on their faces. You can’t faulter Jones quality and customer service at all I’ve used them for many years and will continue to do so. I highly recommend. Especially the shop in the city Watling street. The store manager runs a top quality customer service store. Thank you.

Mine are made in Brazil, red lace up loafers, the most comfortable and hard wearing shoes I have had in years-i'm 80 so I have had a few! Well done Jones, I'm hooked. The only way to buy is at your shops, really.try them first Pl

I placed an order for two pairs of sandals, having bought shoes several times before from Jonesbootmaker. Unfortunately BOTH pairs (completely different styles) were too narrow. I have not had this problem before and so I can only think that Jonesbootmaker have changed suppliers or the way they now make their shoes. I then noticed they have come from a company called Pavers and not Jonesbootmaker and so was unable to return them to my local store. I then went to the post office and realised the returns postage was not prepaid and therefore had to pay £11 to return them as needed tracked post as the shoes were nearly £100 each! Will unfortunately NOT be ordering from them again.

Staff were supportive and helpful but let down by the quality of the product.

Dissappointingly low quality and poor durability of some quite expensive loafer style shoes. Having been a long term buyer of JTB footwear, the latest incarnation has obviously chosen low price, low grade manufacture. I would avoid using them again.

Good looking and comfortable boots; however, after two months of wearing them, one sole has decided to come off :(

On 6 Aug I ordered some sandals which were in the sale. They should have arrived within 5 days. On 8 Aug I had a call to say they had to be sourced from a store so would be 7 days. So far no problem. On 19 Aug I contacted the helpdesk as they hadn't arrived. Apparently they had 'gone missing' between the store and the warehouse and no-one had picked up on this as Jones don't bother to make sure orders have been dispatched, which seems incredibly inefficient. The person to whom I spoke said she would try and source another pair. By the time I chased the order the price had been further reduced so I suggested that I should be refunded the difference on the basis that I was effectively re-ordering - this was agreed. I asked that I be sent an email letting me know whether another pair had been found. Shortly afterwards I was notified that another pair had been found and would be with me in 5-7 working days. I emailed back to ask for confirmation of the refund. I got an automatic response saying that someone would respond 'as soon as possible'. On Tues 27 Aug the sandals arrived. Since I had had no response to my email and no refund I emailed the helpdesk again. I got a response this time. The refund was issued which was good, but the helpdesk said they hadn't received my original email, which was clearly untrue as I had the automatic response - perhaps they don't realise this happens. Someone really needs to get a grip on both the dispatch process and the helpdesk.

I ordered a pair of Lelli Kelly shoes for my granddaughter. I ordered a UK size 10 as that was the sizing on the website. A UK size 10 is a European size 28. When they arrived (great delivery service, no complaints) I discovered I had been sent a size 29 which obviously were far too big for said granddaughter. I contacted customer services. Their reply was that a size 29 in Lelli Kelly sizing was a UK size 10. This is nonsense. I then forwarded to customer services the sizing straight from the Lelli Kelly website which clearly stated that their size 28 was a UK size 10. I received no reply. By this time, however, the shoes were out of stock and granddaughter had to go on holiday without her Lelli Kellies! Not happy! I was given a full refund by Jones the Bootmaker -again no complaints - but I was disappointed that I did not receive a reply to my second email. Hopefully from now on they will make it clear to customers exactly what UK size they are ordering when it comes to Lelli Kellies.

Been buying shoes from them for years. Always had quality shoes with zero complaints. However, I purchased some boots that only lasted 1 month before the sole wore out. I only wear them for work and I am office based. So, with this I contacted them and it’s been an up hill battle to get them to discuss things with me. I calculated that I had 20 days of wear from a £90 pair of what looked like hard wearing boots. They asked me to take them into a store and they would be sent off for inspection. I left the boots with the store. 2 days later, I receive an email to say the store managers decision was final and they apologised that I didn’t get the answer I wanted. Slightly confused as to why they took the boots from me and haven’t returned them. Discussed by the way they would treat a customer who has purchased over 50+ shoes from them. Date

Paid for boots and never received them. Contacted customer service multiple times and no response. Complete scam and waste of $200. Avoid this company. This is an online scam.

Shockingly poor quality. Paint on the bottom of the soul Paint on the side of the rubber soul Paint on the bulk of the soul is uneven Paint came off on my fingers when I rubbed it Glue marks in the heal inside the shoe Leather looks stretched in parts Stitching is asymmetric when comparing the shoes and the leather around the tongue looks like it’s been cut by a sweatshop child (that need glasses). I phoned, explained, dealt with a very helpful lady who sent a replacement pair for next day delivery - no word of exaggeration the replacement pair is even worse. I will be sending the latest pair back and asking for a partial refund. I will update this review with any developments. Don’t put any weight to their marketing and heritage, this is a cheap brand masquerading as something other than the lowest of low-end. If anyone at Jones Bootmakers reads this, please don’t waste your time with a generic ‘we’re sorry about your experience’ response. At these prices, at your supposed level of quality, you really should get it right first time, except you’ve got it wrong both times. Really disappointed.

I've bought Jones shoes for my child to wear in school in September 2023 (90 pounds). In 3 weeks (!) the heels were worn and I had to replace them (another 18 pounds). In couple of months the shoes started to look awful. So expensive but so poor quality

JOKERS THE BOOTMAKERS! LAST COME FIRST SERVED IT SEEMS. I ordered a pair of £180.00 Cheaney Chelsea boots in their sale and received confirmation that the order had been received and would be despatched. The price was good so I recommended the deal to a family member who bought 27 hours later. I have been informed that my order will not be completed because of no stock. The person I recommended has had his dispatch confirmed for Friday delivery. Last come first served it would seem 🤪🤪🤪 Jokers the Bootmakers

Ordered £180 boots on 25th November with expected despatch of 16th December. It’s now the evening of 29th December and I have emailed twice, used the chat (was closed down without checking or resolving), replied to the obviously disingenuous response to my TrustPilot review 3 times … absolutely no response, no update on delivery, I can only assume I won’t receive this item, any response, or a refund. Company clearly couldn’t care less. Bad enough but this was bought as a Christmas present. Avoid.

Awful quality when the boots actually arrived (the first lot were never shipped or got lost in the delivery process, so I had to re-order them.) An absolute waste of time. Never again.

Very shady customer service. Clearly lied to me about shipping dates in email, which were inconsistent with the dispatch receipt provided. Took 2 weeks just for them to go to the post office to ship my shoes, which is ridiculous.

Shocking telephone customer service! Unfortunately the description of the boots I was interested in didn't detail if the insole was cushioned or not so I called the customer services team to ask but they didn't know so they emailed a dept that might know yet they didn't reply in the time that I was advised so I rang again to be greeted by an operator who really couldn't be bothered. Jones want me to place an order for over £100 yet I'm not knowing what I'm going to be getting. Maybe your marketing dept could put more effort into their descriptions including a measurement or gauge to the widths of your boots as 'F' or 'Standard ' means nothing!!
