I have been a customer of Kaleidoscope for over 20 years and have been happy with my online shopping experience. However, recently I tried to access my account using my usual password and found I could not log in. I tried repeatedly and was then locked out as I had made too may unsuccessful attempts. I also tried to change my password, and was told I had been sent an email to make the change, but the email did not arrive (I did check my junk mail). I then rang the customer help desk and spent nearly an hour on the phone receiving support. The assistant told me that she had gone through the full process to reconnect me with my account and said it had not worked. She assured me it should be working, but was unable to offer any further advice as to how I could resolve the matter. She then said she would delete my account, so that I could open a new one. When I tried to do this I could only retrieve my old log on page and there was no option to create a new account. The phoneline assistant could offer no further solutions and it was clear she did not know what to do. This left me with no answers and I left the conversation knowing she had deleted my account despite having shopped with this company for maybe 20 years! The best she could offer was to suggest that maybe I should try later! I followed up by making an official complaint. This resulted in more instructions which I carefully followed and I even used the services of a computer specialist to ensure I had followed them rigorously. Needless to say the procedure did not solved the problem. However, I am confident there was no problem at my end or with my ability to follow the instructions. As far as I am concerned the problem remains unresolved and I have received unsatisfactory support and guidance. There is no willingness to pursue this problem to find a solution. and the company now wish to close down my complaint! I consider this request to be very poor customer care considering the many years I have been a loyal and regular customer. In addition the experience has caused significant stress and anxiety due to the responses which have implied this is my fault!

Very bad experience trying to arrange returns. Courier did not show up on collection date. I spent 41 minutes on call to customer services. We arranged a new collection date and I requested email confirmation. No email and in my account it still shows as the original collection date. Waiting in a lengthy long queue to try via online chat to resolve. I am nervous about getting refund for the time period allowed for returns. Overall a poor poor service.

Paid for standard delivery at same cost as competitors' bext day delivery. 6 days, not dispatched. Called in. Rude, arrogant call centre staff who did not wish to help, put the phone down, muted me, refused a timely refund. Never again. What awful customer service on top of poor business practices. Buyer beware.

Terrible service try to find someone to speak to is impossible !return parcel 16 days ago no credit showing on my account statement,absolutely no help from telephone when you eventually get through call handler rude and impatient can’t explain doesn’t understand ,have shopped with this company for over10 yrs never again I will be looking to close account

I ordered a rug and had to return it. I was told that collection would be anytime between 0800 and 2000hrs. I have to work in the mornings so pm was the only time I would be there. I was told to leave the rug outside of my house which I’m not prepared to do. All I wanted was a pm appt and it seems impossible. It was not helpful dealing with an Indian call centre and after 48 minutes on the phone am no further forward …. Helpful….. definitely not and after over 20 years of being a customer I thought I deserved better service sadly “the powers that be” do not get to hear about this. An audit on how collections are run might flag up a considerable loss of money …. It would have been nice to speak to someone with more authority but that seems impossible!

All items I've ordered so far are good quality whilst also being well priced. Really appreciate the simple, free returns policy. Company appears to be highly ethical.

Still waiting for refund! I have contacted customer service twice. My account says parcel returned, so why no refund? To make it worse they sent a size 18 instead of a size 10, so was the wrong item in the first place. Will not shop with them again.

Would be 0 if I could. For the last 2 years the customer service and refunds has been appalling. Have to chase them for the refund time and time again. This last occasion is dire - sent item back using the label provided on September 25th but still no refund. Will close this account ASAP and never use again. They have the returned item and still have my money. They used to be good but sadly not any more.

The customer service team member was very rude. I was answering what she was asking me and was abruptly spoken to that I was over speaking her. Unbelievable. Three times I had to explain the package and that it was one and at the end was asked how many packages was there for return. The attitude was not what you expect of a customer service representative. Will be closing my account with this company.

Used to be quite good for women's clothes, but in the last two years the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. I don't mind paying for good quality items, but these days clothes are made with inferior fabrics and not well finished. I will pay off my account and then not use them any more.

Trying to pay on line is impossible. I don’t like paying over the phone. I only want to pay online but trying to log in is horrendous but if I want to place an order no problem this site needs an overhaul. Once my account settled I won’t use it again

Returned a dress as the quality was not good, belt with the dress was poor quality. Been waiting for 2 weeks for my refund and still waiting. Other retailers offer much faster turnaround time for refunds. Not a good experience.

Avoid at all costs, I'm with witt used to be great multi catalogue company now it's taken over by Freeman's it's appalling no UK support wrong items sent, no item sent but charge put on bill, late deliveries trouble paying

Kaleidoscope used to be very good, I’ve been a customer for many years but recently it’s been disappointing to say the least. I’m at a loss to understand why they still offer next day delivery on some items but when you get to checkout it’s just standard delivery. Also I’m wondering why I should bother paying annual delivery charge when they keep offering free delivery so often.

I initially ordered Kaleidoscope hair products to see if it would grow my edges back, they were completely gone I did not join for gifts or prizes but just wanted to see if it worked, I didn't do pictures because I did not like my edges being out, but I can say it has completely grown my edges back and I am so grateful and thankful for the kaleidoscope hair vitamins, the pecan oil, the marshmallow leave in conditioner, the so so slick by the brat, the miracle drops leave in, the miracle drops extra strength, and the coconut oil. They have all done wonders for my hair thank you Judy and the brat 🙏🏼💯 I will continue to support your hair care products.

Ordered 2 items. Neither have turned up after weeks. CS keep telling me they are on the way. Then due to unforeseen circumstances the courier couldn’t deliver. They’ve taken my payment though. Then Somehow I got an incorrect item arrived. Courier not collected for return on stated day. CS said they’d reordered my original items for me, apologised etc etc but then they cancelled order accidentally - and then reordered again. What an unprofessional company. A complete mess of untrained incompetent staff. Confused? Yes- I’ve no idea where I am with my order or refund.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING - WHATS CHANGED?? THEIR COURIER CO IS THE WORST EVER. WRONG DELIVERIES NOW THREE TIMES TO AN UNKNOWN HOUSE. KEEP TELLING THEM THIS - ITS IGNORED. THE PHOTO THEY SEND IS NOT MY HOUSE OR DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS. I SPEND TIME I DONT HAVE EMAILING ALL THE INFO AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, ITS A HAMSTER WHEEL OF STRESS AND ANGST THAT AFTER YEARS OF BUYING THEY ARE NOW AWFUL AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROB SOME OVERSEAS CALL CENTRE AS THEY DO NOT READ THE EMAILS AND KEEP ASKING SAME QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I REPEAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN..... THIS IS NOT MY HOUSE. THE COURIER CO MUST COST THEM A FORTUNE IN MISLAID DELIVERIES. I WANT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AFTE FIFTEEN YEARS...

Shocking, been a customer for years, but now I’m going to close my account. Ordered a large double swing seat, on opening found it was a single swing seat. Got in touch with customer service who told me that they would send me an address label…..a 2 man courier team are arriving tomorrow to pick the item up despite me having no address label and the huge item is sitting in my conservatory. I have since found an address for kaleidoscope on their website….I don’t know if this is where the returns should go but that is where this item will be going as I’m not having it stuck in my conservatory any longer. By the way I phoned customer services on numerous occasions to get a returns address…..nothing! Absolutely disgusting behaviour for a good and loyal customer….or ex customer now.

Kaliscope catalogue clothing and household products areof good quality. But I must and I stress it over and over again the courier service they use is absolutely terrible. The first time I tried to return a coffee table I made at least 10 appointments for it to be picked up. Each time stressing to the customer service agent that the coffee table was left in my porch that I was forced to leave open for them to pick up. In the end as I warn with my porch being a shared one that the goods could go missing. And true to fact that they did go missing even though I had warned Kaliscope it could. Plus it even flooded my porch because with it being shared it flooded with rain which my land lord charged me for. Kaleidoscope then went on to charge me. It took me ages to prove the coffee table had been taken from my porch I think stolen. I vowed never to order anything with Kaliscope again but I relented and thought well it’s clothes this time. If I have to return them there carnt be the same problem again surely. How wrong I am. I ordered a bedding set. And a dress. I have now been on the phone to Kaliscope 8 times to arrange for the courier. Each time it is the same thing. Have the products got returns labels on. Yes. Are they ready for collecting. Yes. Would such a day be ok. Yes is my answer they are in the porch waiting the porch is open any day you want to come is fine. Each time the arrangements are made guess what no courier. I am so fed up this is definitely the last order I will make with kaleidoscope it’s just not worth it. My advice to anyone contemplating using Kaliscope is don’t bother unless you can get to there warehouse to take any stuff back to them. As we speak the items are still waiting in the porch. They where supposed to collect today Monday. TOTALLY USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Very unhappy customer.
