“unfortunately I had a negative experience after ordering food for a weekend away I was not notified until i tried contacting providoor as my delivery had not arrived no one contacted me and I did not receive my order on the delivery”

“Great array of tasty and delectable dishes. Have been using Providoor to assist with meals following major surgery, and made life very manageable. Also shared with extended family with my Uncle with MND, and he absolutely enjoyed Marco Pierre White's Guiness Braised Brisket Stew - 'the flavours were delightful, would higly recommend' my Uncle said. He even managed a small second serving!!”

“The product was delivered in a large box with 5 meals which arrived damaged as the box must have been dropped in transit. Not to mention the meals were not frozen and given we had enough food for 5 nights we could only eat 3 of the 5 as the product only has a 3 day life after being thawed. The staff were responsive once we sent photos of the damage goods in arranging a credit, however my thoughts are that alternative cartons sizing is required to stop in transit damage.”

“The food was impeccable! Restaurant quality in our very own kitchen. The lamb was to die for and have since ordered again. It just melted in your mouth and was a wonderland on my taste buds for the next few days. We also had a Taco Party pack, which we turned in ot a mexican fiesta at home and the night was a hit with our friends. Made so much easier and tastier with the Taco party pack, delicious!!”

“I got another beef bourguignon... Consistency issue? No chance! Phenomenal meal! I am honest when I say this is the best meal I've ever eaten in my life! I will be continuing to eat this for as long as it is available 😊 still have one in my freezer hehe. I'm saving it for a date 😘 I've had a few different meals now. Green curry, potato puree with the beef bourguignon, onion soup! All really fantastic! The onion soup is next level!”

“Unfortunately, the operations team let the business down while the food is very good. I have placed 6 orders with Providoor., the latest was delivered today. 2 orders (including the one delivered today) had missing items and one order was not delivered at all Whilst the food is very good, if I can't rely on the correct order being delivered then I can't recommend them”

“Good food but poor service. I ordered for a birthday (I.e. a specific date). The date was changed without my being told so the birthday dinner was ruined. The offer of 20% off my next order as compensation felt somewhat disingenuous- future order helps the company, not me and given my experience it’s unlikely I would be ordering again.”

“Delivery was easy and good, but it wasn't immediately clear which items were pre-frozen and which were to be eaten 'as is' (I think only the pizzas were to 'eat now' ?) The instructions are sometimes contradictory eg it will say 'best defrosted first' and then also 'best from frozen' (on dumplings, I think that was), or 'bring to a certain internal temperature' instruction on a tiramisu... It all tasted good so no complaints there.”

“I expected more from the new providoor. The chicken and meatballs dish was really great and at the level I'd expect. Everything else was pretty average and either overly salty or sweet. The mac & cheese had way too much pancetta in it, I had about five pieces minimum to every bite. The potato gratin lacked flavour, for something at 'chef' level I'd expect at least basic flavouring like garlic and a herb. The donut pie thing was worse than what I'd find at a grocery supermarket freezer section. It was so sweet and even cooking double the time had raw chewy awful bits to it. The worst desert I've had in recent time.”
