“I was disappointed that the whole process turned out to be so inconvenient. First of all, your website information gave me the impression that the restaurant concerned had a window of delivery from 9am to 6pm. Fearing that the food delivered would be left out in the elements for hours while I was out, I opted for click & collect. On the day of the order I called the restaurant late morning to find out roughly when I could collect, as I hadn't received any notification from them. The man on the phone said they hadn't received any order from Providoor, and didn't expect the orders to come until 2pm! I called at 2:30pm to be told I could pick up the food around 5:30pm that afternoon. Why could this not be indicated at the time of ordering (two days before)? I could have waited at home for the delivery if I had been told it was to be delivered in the evening. If this is the same for all the restaurants involved how could I plan a dinner party? I see this service more as a gimmick.”
