Makes no sense that a user needs to have an account with the app and the store. Just more to set up.

All in all, I am liking the process - this is my first experience with tracking serum ketones. A couple of things - The foil packets are very hard to open. I find I need scissors and that's inconvenient. Also, the strips are pretty pricey. A bargain, perhaps, compared to having lab work, but more expensive than the brand of glucose strips I was using previously. Reordering the strips got a little wonky - there seemed to be different options available depending on how I got to the "store" but eventually everything worked out. The shipping was quick, thank you. The thing most disconcerting to me is how two tests performed within a minute of each other can give results that vary by ten or more points. I experiment sometimes comparing your monitor with my old glucose-only device and am not entirely surprised by what seems like a significant difference, but why does this happen with tests done both on the KM device?

I like the app interface Great, but the monitor unit itself has several very annoying ill-conceived, seemingly very basic issues that are making me want to sell my unit as used and seek another option for the ketone readings, despite how much I like the app. The port for the tabs should face the same way as the read read-out screen— it's awkward and feels stupid to have to turn the meter around back and forth to apply blood samples to the tabs and then be able to read the results. The location of the power button on the top of the unit is very poor placement because the unit gets turned on constantly when it's it's in it's case and gets bumped or squeezed- which happens in any travel bag. I have to remove a battery to travel with it. The volume of blood needed for a read is *huge* compared to other modern glucometers requiring a lot of finger-milking to yield enough blood to study the meter. The tabs are expensive comparatively and environmentally wasteful to be individually wrapped with no alternative to purchase in bulk canisters, which I feel are also easier and more convenient to handle, rather than having to rip apart and then dispose of each test strip package. The case is very poorly designed and ill-fit. There's no small zipped net compartment to contain the used tabs (they are medical waste and not supposed to be simply tossed in regular garbage cans- so not having a place to put them means must users will just throw them out anywhere. There's no band (often a clear plastic strap) to secure the monitor in place in the case so it doesn't slide around, and no elastic band to secure the lancet pen. The case does not seem custom-designed for it's purpose, but as though a flimsy generic rectangle zip case larger that it should be was stamped with the logo. It doesn't actually provide any organization or sufficient protection for the contents. These things are very disappointing for the price-point. The Free-Style Lite glucometer is infinitely more convenient, smaller, requires MUCH less blood (thus less finger tissue damage and discomfort), is easier to handle, uses test strips that are significantly easier to handle and apply the blood drop into, functions easily in a dark situation- like a movie theatre, and comes with a well designed organized case that can be tossed in any travel bag without a second thought. Whoever was responsible for designing these parts of your meter completely lacked actual end user experience and didn't bother to research it.

The new glucose test strips are great but the new ketone strips do not work at all in my device. I know the device is fine because I still had a few from the past and they work just fine. Can someone explain what has happened?

The machine itself is great! I gave it a 3 because the keto/glucose sticks are very difficult to get out of packaging. I'm a pediatric endocrinology nurse so I test children's glucose levels all day. If I had to use these individual packaged sticks I would run behind in patient care. Why not just fill a plastic container with sticks? So because of the difficulty opening the sticks I don't check as often.

The lancets need to be longer. It is difficult to get the blood droplets even if I use 5 as the lancet setting.

I love the product, but a 1st star demerit for difficulty syncing from the GK+ device on my iPhone to the MyMojoHealth app, and a 2nd star dmerit finding a way to contact support. I finally heard about accessing support from the Facebook page, so on Monday I'll see what I can do about syncing! I look forward to a K-M 5-star rating!

1.I am having issues with syncing with IPhone applications. Sometimes it syncs sometimes it doesn’t 2. I never was able to tag “before food” or “after food “ 3. You should add feature-ability to remove datapoint (not just hide) 4. Please add feature for multiple users

Individually packed strips kind of a pain in the ass. Meter does not seem to get repeatable readings dependably. App works good however it’s taken a while to figure out what all the advanced graphs represent. A page with an explanation of then would be beneficial. The lancet tool is not great. I use a multi lancet from Accucheck instead where I only have to reload every 6 times.

Blood meter is fine, but the app has a mediocre interface and isn't intuitive. Some issues with synching. The cost of the strips on an ongoing basis would be better lower.

The keto mojo is easy to use, and I like that you can sync with the app. However, the test ranges vary greatly. For example, one morning my ketones measured 0.9. I questioned being that high, so I checked the controls and repeated the test, and the repeat was 1.3. I tested again, and it was 0.7. Results are not to be trusted.
