“I got a Keto-Mojo device for a family member at the recommendation of a medical provider. I found the information on the Keto-Mojo site to be very helpful (recipes, education, etc.) and found the company did a great job communicating and getting us up and running with the device. “The videos for using the product could use a little enhancement. The video should have instructions on best practices for opening the testing strips or using the finger lance. Some of this may be common sense, but some of it needs to be talked about. For example, loading the lance tool, it was initially cumbersome to remove the cap. I figured it out quickly enough, but i could have easily broken it. Twisting the lance top you have to be careful not to bend it. After the first try, i got it. Maybe separate instructional videos can be made for those needing help with a specific part of the testing process.”

“Strips for the newes reader (GK) are only available in the US. Their Europe division does not sell them. Product is perhaps best used by someone who does not travel extensively outside the US. No mention of this was on the Amazon US site.”

“Sehr geehrtes Keto-Mojo Team, vielen Dank für Ihre E-Mail und die Einladung zur Bewertung. Leider kann ich derzeit keine positive Rückmeldung geben, da meine bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Ihrem Produkt, dem Kundenservice und der Software insgesamt enttäuschend waren. Meine Bestellung (Nr. 45263-EU) enthielt das Gerät mit 10 Teststreifen sowie ein zusätzliches Paket mit 60 Streifen. Am 20.03.2025 habe ich mich mit einer einfachen Frage an Ihren Support gewandt. Bis heute habe ich weder eine Antwort noch eine Eingangsbestätigung erhalten. In Ihrer Nachricht betonen Sie Ihren erstklassigen Kundenservice – leider kann ich diesen in meinem Fall nicht bestätigen. Auch mit der Software bin ich unzufrieden. Trotz der Bestellung von 60 zusätzlichen Streifen werde ich regelmäßig zu Beginn der Nutzung aufgefordert, weitere Streifen zu kaufen. Dies wirkt aufdringlich und ist in der Nutzung störend. Darüber hinaus funktioniert das Gerät nicht immer zuverlässig. Bei einigen Messungen ist das Gerät direkt im Anschluss abgestürzt oder hat den Fehlercode E2 angezeigt. Ehrlich gesagt entsteht bei mir der Eindruck, dass nur positive Bewertungen gewünscht sind. Stattdessen wäre mir sehr geholfen, wenn meine Support-Anfrage einfach beantwortet würde. Abschließend noch ein Hinweis: Da ich eindeutig aus Deutschland bestellt habe, wundert es mich, dass Ihre Kommunikation ausschließlich auf Englisch erfolgt. Ich hoffe auf eine baldige und hilfreiche Rückmeldung zu meinen offenen Fragen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen”

“Our initial order was misdelivered. We emailed to KM absolute proof of that fact. Albeit the fault clearly was USPS, as agent for DHL which in turn is the agent for KM. To us the responsibility fell to KM for our considerable inconvenience and extra expenses incurred. Albeit KM was courteous & quick to respond, we nonetheless had to "work our butts off" to KM to get fair consideration for our wasted time and EXPENSE. KM did send an extra box of glucose strips, which never even covered our time & energy wasted "pleading our case" to KM to at keast double our replacement order as partial compensation. It was the principle. In addition to our wasted time in our several emails to KM we were out of test strips whereby the delay caused us to get tested at Quest Diagnostics. We have the receipts. That cost alone exceeded the cost of our KM order. #1: We are a long time high useage customer, usualy thru Amazon. Even if AMZN had misdeliverred they would have replaced by the next day, hence no Quest lab costs to us. We did not do a very low rating on KM on line, but we should. On principle KM still needs to at least send us double our order to make it right - "penny wise pound foolish". So now I gave KM another 1/2 hr. of my valuable time in this survey. Wow how dumb am I ! Simply screwed by KM, Thanks?”
