“PHENOMENAL!! I purchased a custom tie, suspenders, and pocket square for my wedding, and I absolutely loved every step of it. The ability to customize the pattern to match our wedding colors was easy and very appreciated to be able to see a draft of what it would look like. The color matching chart also was a great tool to help me make sure the colors matched my suit and our color palette! The finished all matched perfectly. Each product is very high quality and well worth the cost. Being able to pick out a pattern from their many options and then customize them further is such a great way to get new ties/accessories. Knotty Tie was also very friendly when I reached out to customer service with a question, and they went above and beyond to help me. Overall, I’ve been extremely satisfied and I am looking forward to placing more orders in the future (because bow ties are awesome). I also have no reservations about recommending them to friends, family, and internet strangers!”

“Amazing tie! Colors and design came out great and they turned it around soo quick! I found knotty ties only 3 weeks before my wedding and paid for expedited shipping and it showed up in less than a week! Very very pleased and definitely plan to purchase more”

“I was so excited when I found out about this company and their products. However, buyer beware they have horrendously slow shipping from their online store. They charged my credit card and held my items for 15 days before it was even shipped (I paid the shipping cost). What a coincidence that after I contacted them asking about the latency of the order, it was then shipped the next day. I will add that my purchase was a stock item from their online catalog, nothing was special ordered. Needless to say I won’t be doing business with them in the future.”

We are a made-to-order tie business in Denver, Colorado and print, cut and sew all items to order as part of our social mission. This is noted on each product page, but we are sorry if there was any confusion that these products are in-stock and ready to ship. The 15 day production time is standard in order to create your order from scratch, but we do offer expedites at checkout if you needed the order faster. My wedding party way BLOWN AWAY by the colors, customizations, design options, and everything in between that Knotty Tie does to make sure they look good and feel good on the big day. “The company is very responsive to emails however the product took 3 weeks to arrive and it was poor quality without being able to return it. I will not order from here again. Not happy!!”

“As far as getting my tie shipment sped up, the service was awesome. But, the fact that I can’t return the ties is not sitting well with me. I ordered colors to try with my suits for my wedding to see which one I like more and now I am stuck with them. My fault for not checking but I’ll be ordering from another company in the future.”

This is because we strive to limit manufacturing waste in the interest of sustainability and therefore we print, cut, and sew each order to each customer's specifications, which is a unique business model. We offer thousands of pattern options for our ties, and these patterns can either be customized by color, size, or both. Because of our robust and customizable catalog, we do hope you can understand that we are unable to offer a standard return policy similar to other retailers that keep inventory of non-customized products in stock. “It’s incredibly hard to get a hold of customer service. I was offered an option to upgrade my shipping (after already paying $9 to ship) to receive my items in time. After responding to the representative (Jaymie) hoping to facilitate the new shipping arrangement, I have heard nothing. Unfortunately, the way mail is going, I am not sure if I will have my ties in time for my wedding. I’m disappointed because I’m sure they are beautiful ties.”

“We absolutely love our wedding ties. I didn’t realize it would be so hard to find ties that matched my bridesmaid’s’ dress color. I looked everywhere online and unless we wanted to spend $100+ a tie, we were out of luck. I stumbled upon Knotty Tie late one night. The color swatch kit came 3 days later and they had a color that matched perfectly. The ties took about 10 days to create and about a week to ship. I’m just thrilled with them and can’t wait to see the guys in them at the wedding.”

“The designs are awesome, I love that the elastic goes around your head (not the ears). My only complaint was that the ladies size (small) is too small and there is no metal nose piece to shape over the nose.”
