“I ordered two suits from Laam on 22nd May, as I had to attend a wedding on 10th June.. I paid for the suits in advanced. I made sure to order weeks in advance so I can get my clothes stitched on time.. On the same day I ordered my clothes I wrote an email to laam team to please make sure that I receive the correct articles, as I have had a terrible experience with Laam in the past. So just wanted to give them a heads up to deliver correct articles. Upon my email they replied to me that my order will be dispatched on 25th May , ( completing ignoring my concern to deliver the CORRECT ARTICLES )
Yes I might be paranoid but I just wanted to make sure that I get the correct articles.
25th May came and went, and my order never showed up. So I emailed Laam again asking about my order. They said that delivery was attempted and no one answered. Which is completely not true, as my father is always home and he always received all the order. Also the rider usually calls before attempting delivery. This never happened.
I requested Laam to please please deliver my order before 10th June, as I have a wedding to attend. They assured me that they have sent the delivery request and I will receive the order soon. BUT I NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER.
I had to wear my sister’s clothes who is way smaller than me. I was very embarrassed during the wedding , and couldn’t enjoy at all. Thanks to Laam..
There is no doubt we can find nice clothes on Laam but the service is just very terrible..”
“Please don’t waste your money, go direct to the designers or brands website and order from there. It’s not worth I ordered a dress never got it on time and still waiting for the refund @laam you need to work on your standards.

“When you are ordering Farah Talib Aziz unstiched luxury lawn please be careful. The description of the clothes do no match the pictures provided. The unstiched dress do not have enough fabric to make full length shirt. The return policy is complicated and pathetic.”

“International Orders are mishandled.
This is not the first time a shipment has been sent to Dubai to us. The shipment is weighing hardly 2 kg, mentioned commercial and has been charged with customs duty which we have never been on international orders. My concern is why isnt this mentioned upon booking the order. Its a hefty AED 181 of amount and a complete rip off for customers as a hidden charge never mentioned. These charges are always paid by the seller on all major platforms selling internationally if the shipment in paid in advance.
We have paid administrative charges for couriers before but it is hardly 15 dhms upon receiving the shipment.
We have paid for shipment with our purchase and this was never mentioned by LAAM.
Disappointing service in terms of hidden charges and now I am running after DHL to deliver it today as we have started our Eid holidays. This should not be a last minute chaos when the order was placed on 4th of March 2023.
Please get your administrative issues solved. You are not at all closer to any international handling despite being a big platform. The receipt was wrongly made, order was corrected after multiple phone international calls, customs/duty not sorted by LAAM.

I paid 350 or an item and we refunded half saying they returned based on exchange..first that not how returns work and the exchange rate have moved half that amount. “I had to write a review after a month of waiting for their ilogical offer.
I ordered 5 dresses, 2 of them comes without body parts. Lots of parts are missing. I paid more than the dress price for the Duty tax for Belgium. For 5 dresses I paid 184 euros and 80 euros for shipping. Which are more than the dresses cost. I would happy even after paying lots of money if would get all my dresses completely. They keep telling us to wait and now they are offering me a 15% refund just for the value of the dress. I am totally upset and never will suggest anyone purchase from abroad. It is so costly and when you do get not even your complete order.”
“To all international buyers, please do not buy from LAAM PK as they will make you pay customs and duty charges. These can be paid by the business and reclaimed, which an individual buyer cannot reclaim resulting in an expensive purchase.
Unexpected today I was taken by surprise as I received a letter from FedEx asking me to pay £111.59 for customs and duty charges. I have never had to pay these charges for any of the other Pakistani brands, hence, this was a big shock. I contacted LAAM PK and was told they have a printed “The order will be subject to customs and duty charges upon delivery, based on the tax laws of the shipping country.”
I still fail to understand why these are not applicable to purchases from other Pakistani brands and why only LAAM, especially with the clothes coming from Pakistan. This means my dresses have cost me more than their worth, so what is the point in shopping from Pakistan if you are going to make the buyer pay the same price equivalent to one dress? Should have bought it directly from Mushq as they were offering full lining under the sleeves which was refused by LAAM PK and doesn’t have any hidden charges.
Also, LAAM PK delivery time is 10-15 days as shown on their website, but this was delayed. They said the supplier is delaying them and when I insisted, I needed them for an event and should have made a direct purchase from Mushq, LAAM PK speeded things up.
Please be vary and don’t be fooled by the delivery timescale given on their website.
Overall, my purchase has cost me £217.42 (cost of dress including shipping) + £111.59 (custom & duty) = £329.01 which means each dress cost me £164.50. It is not worth it at all. The cost of one dress including shipping is £108.71, so you can see I had paid customs and duty more than the cost of one dress.
My advice is to buy directly from the brands and don’t be fooled and spend your money well.”
