“2 years ago bought seeds and paid through PayPal which was charged. They decided to bill PayPal again and denied by PayPal. Never had PayPal do that so something was wrong with their process if it even was lagit.. Then it was sent to collections. They said sign up on line to pay it but I find out you can't pay something in collections on line, after they have all my information and no way to cancel the account I signed up for on line. What a trick. Called and they took a payment and were suppose to send a receipt to my email and one to my mailing address. 2 weeks later nothing. Called again and they wanted all the information they could collect before they would even talk to me, but I stopped them. I only wanted a paid receipt. After a great deal of arguing about this insistent behavior of collecting additional information on what I already paid and only want a receipt sent I gave then a new email that they could not accept because it wasn't they same one they were using. So I requested a receipt sent to my mailing address so they they could not say we sent it but your email was not a good email and we need more infor on you. After all the mailing address they have is in hard copy and correct on they system. There is something very sketchy about this company that is obviously being run out of India. Seem to be all about collecting information on you. Never do business with them or you could end up in a continual loops of providing them with more information and refusal to answer simple questions like "Do you show I paid it???". Just a FYI...suddenly my email is getting all sorts of spam mail. Hmmmmm....Like I said....something wrong with this company!”
“I ordered from The Lakeside Collection but never again! One e-mail confirmation shows me paying : Sub Total: $7.17 but when I select view order: sub total: $7.17
Tax: $0.94 tax: $1.14
Shipping: $6.99 shipping: $9.99
Carrier Surcharge: $3.00 total: $18.30
Grand Total: $18.10
So, which is it? According to their chart I should be paying $6.99 for shipping on my order total but they have me at $9.99 which is higher than the average for shipping. And they don't mention this Carrier surcharge any where. What is this for?? Plus, If I AM the one paying for shipping, why is it taking over 3 WEEKS for me to get my items? I believe they are using SNAIL MAIL and probably paying less for the shipping so they can make money on the shipping that I am paying for!
And how are they going to show on their shipping rates "you save more for shipping with the more you buy"? I buy more and get free shipping from most companies! So I pay for shipping but LS sends it snail mail anyway so I save money or they make $$ on my shipping?”
“I placed an order and Lakeside assigned it to Fedex. I would not have chosen so. Fedex has lost the package. They have no idea where it is, when it will be delivered or even if it will appear. Lakeside has TWICE told me that it is OUT FOR DELIVERY when it fact it is not. I have been told that I could get a refund if it was not delivered today as promised. Now they claim that is untrue and I must wait a week. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY,.”

“We were in Prezzybox on the 1st October 2022 when a lady in a hired motor mobility scooter drove into the back of my legs and pushed me onto the counter. Why am I letting everyone know, well a manager was there who said he saw everything. But at no time did he get me to sit down check I was ok and at no time has anyone helped me since. So be aware if you have an accident in Lakeside or any of the shops make sure you get the details as they do not care and will not help you.
We understand that people hire the scooters but no matter what they should not drive away from so they have driven into and shops and the managing department of main stores should as they say, Pass the Buck. So please be careful when you visit Lakeside”
“I placed an order for 1 item. I was lpleased with the item; however, when I checked my bank statement there were 2,charges listed.
I called LSC Customer Service and was told by Shan that the charge was a pre/authorization charge and would come off in a couple of days. I waited a week--the charge never dropped off. Today I called LSC Customer Service only to be told by Elaine that the charge was actually a membership fee!!! I was so surprised that Shan (soft spoken, courteous, & respectful) was nothing more than a liar. After much discussion and help from Elaine, the unauthorized membership was canceled. I received an email that my account will be credited within the next 3 - 5 days. One can only hope, that actually happens.
Lieing to a Customer does not a good seller/customer relationship make:-(”
“Every now and then you will find something that is above Dollar Tree quality. Some things are cute, some are junk. Be sure to read the reviews on specific products.
I ordered on Black Friday last year and didn't receive my products until the end of January. I was super sad and they did NOTHING for me. They didn't even offer an apology. They just said they were under staffed.”
“Literally, ZERO customer service! I ordered $180.00 worth of products from Lakeside. Nothing in the box that came was what I ordered yet the invoice in the box was for my stuff. Tried to call customer service: rep didn't have a clue, I could barely hear him, definite communication issue as he neither spoke or understood English well. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was told I'd get a call back in 30 minutes. Never did. FYI: the "supervisor will call you back," or "supervisor is on the phone" or "supervisor can't talk at this time" is a common thread. You will NEVER speak to a supervisor. Horrible service from the warehouse to the customer rep's. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.”
