Placed an order and a week later most of my items were discounted, some even half off. Called to get a credit for the differences and they refused and said they would process a return label for me to return it all and reorder at discounted price. I said I was not lugging this big box to return it and asked to speak to a supervisor. One was suppose to call me within in 45 mintues to an hour. 3 days later no call back. Did a live chat and same thing was told to me and it would be 24 hours for a supervisor to call me back. I said it already has been 48 hours, so no thank you. Will never order from them again.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM LAKESIDE COLLECTION! Same thing as others happened to me. Ordered an item, then received email saying to reorder because item had been out of stock and was not back in stock. I reordered, then received first order and few weeks later the second order. I returned second order and NEVER RECEIVED REFUND. If you call customer service you get someone that can you can NOT understand, and they will not transfer you to a Supervisor. Wrote letter requesting refund of $91.99 with proof of everything, of course....NO REFUND!!!!

Lakeside had a cyber deal on solar string lights. Ad said product was in stock so I made order. Received confirmation that order was received and being processed. Next day I received email that the product was no longer in stock and order was cancelled. Called them that day and was advised that while item was out of stock, it would be back in stock in 7 to 9 days. I then asked lakeside if they would honor the cyber deal price and was advised they would not. Price would be three times higher. Lakeside should honor their advertised price and not advise inventory is in stock if they no longer have it. This is bait and switch. I advised them I understood there would be a delay in getting my order, but I was disappointed they refused to honor their advertised price.

I returned an unopened item. They never gave me a refund. Terrible customer service! Plus it took almost 3 weeks to arrive.

I just ordered some Christmas Items and they arrived in 7days. I had a code for free shipping. The bed spread I ordered is great quality. LOVE IT. The shams were missing and when I called customer service they were great and said they were sorry and I would receive the shams in 6 to 8 days. I will definitely order from them again.

Lakeside - terrible biz model, am surprised they are still in business. I placed my 1st order recently; I received a pop-up saying Free Shipping! Yeah. I just supposed it was automatic. But no, a day later I noticed an email saying "here's what to do to get free shipping'. Well, turns out, I had to fill our forms, jump through hoops, AND become a member. Guess what, lakeside charges cutomers a fee to become a member!!! (which was not explained up front). Its only $1.99 that showed up on my credit card, but its the principal of the thing. Then, I get a notice saying that my purchase amount has to be a certain level over time to get the "free" shipping! Again, not explained up front, unless it was in the fine print. I will never order from this company again, so I will not be getting my shipping charges back - which they call a 'rebate', not a 'refund'. Really bad company. I received my product, and it is really cheapy.

Shipping is WAY too slow. You order stuff that shows in stock and then it isn't and they are slow to return your money. Customer service is hit or miss, I've had helpful people and I've had fully incompetent and rude. I ordered Halloween stuff at the very beginning of September and when it hadn't arrived a month later, customer service tells me "that's why people usually order early" like 2 months before Halloween wasn't early enough? Lol. Do better.

So by making an order they enrolled me in a monthly “perks” program without my knowledge! They have been automatically charging my credit card $14.95 a month without my permission! What a fraudulent company!

Placed an order over 2 weeks ago, with preapproved credit which THEY offered ME....2 + weeks later, I've spoken to 4 different people...telling me someone will send me an email in regards to my order. It had been cancelled. No one has contacted me about anything. This company really sucks....a friend told me not to deal with Lakeside as they had nothing but trouble. I should've read the reviews first....

me and 83 members of my Coast Guard Unit plus all that we will notify will no longer patronize Lakeside Collections because of their BLATENT Disregard and omission of products with the logo of the US COAST GUARD which for Collections lack of knowledge is a very IMPORTANT Part of the United States MILITARY just as much as the USMC, Air Force, Navy and Army is. This omission is a slap in the face of EVERY MEMBER of the US Coast Guard and we do not take these things lightly as a result we will no longer patronize Lakeside Collections and Collections ETC. I have always gotten my orders promptly and love their low prices. In fact in the past if I got "the wrong thing", they would tell me to keep what I got and send me the thing I really ordered. That being said, what on earth is wrong with their website?? It freezes up on every device I use so it's not me. Makes it way too hard to shop and browse! Has been doing this for months. Lakeside, it is very important to fix your site ASAP or you will lose lots of business. The holidays are coming and people need to be able to order online easily!

A close family member sent me a gift through this company who promptly used my mailing information to create an unauthorized account. They began sending me MULTIPLE mailer catalogs which overstuffed my mailbox, rendering the lid unable to close, crushing important mail documents and exposing them to the elements wherein many pieces were ruined in the rain. Further, I maintain consistent registration with the DMAChoice registry and my account is active through December of 2028. The Lakeside Collection ignored this "Do Not Mail" status and sent unsolicited mailers, anyway. Worse yet, the gift was from a family member under a family name I do not use (or disclose) to ANYone, let alone create any accounts under this name. It is NOT my legal name, and I cannot provide current proof of identity therefor. I attempted to go to their website to "opt-out" of a mailing list for which I never opted in. The only way to do so would be to create a full-blown account with their company, providing even more information, which I do not intend for them to have, and then change my mailer preferences. The creation of that account also requires agreement to receive additional marketing to all phone, email, and USPS contact channels. Suffice to say, I did NOT create an account. Their "chat" also requires verification of an email I do not wish to provide. Next, I called their customer service line (not toll-free) and provided the Mailing ID No. on the back of each catalog received, verified the mailing address, verified my last name, and informed them the first name is a "nickname" that I DO NOT GO BY, but the representative insisted on calling me that on several occasions, regardless. She then insisted I must disclose an email address and phone number for "verification purposes" despite the fact that none was ever provided, and I only receive their mailers as a gift recipient. She CATEGORICALLY REFUSED to cease all harassment without disclosure of private information (phone and email), which could not be verified, as it was never provided in the first place. Further, their website states that provision of email and phone number constitutes approval to receive their marketing! She placed me on hold for more than 30 minutes waiting for a "supervisor" that never came on the line. So far, I have spent more than 90 unpaid minutes between websites, phone calls, and other logistics management simply attempting to stop mailers I never authorized and cancel an account that was created in my identity without my permission. They verified ALL AVAILABLE information, and still refused to cancel the mailers. I am now filing complaints and reports with all available entities, and will return every piece of mail received "Refused -- RTS." It is illegal to continue harassing someone through email when they have unsubscribed and will get you in big trouble with ICANN. How is it legal to harass someone through the federally governed United States Postal System, waste tangible resources, demand disclosure of more private and personally sensitive information, and occupy equipment dedicated to approved purposes, when they have blatantly requested cessation?

I've never had an issue with my orders, but I didn't care for the 7 day trial for their "rewards" program and $14.95/mo after the trial. I was able to call and get it canceled without issue. For me the store itself gets 4 stars because I haven't had an issue with them, but I knocked a star (almost thought about 2 stars) for the shady rewards program tactic. I'll definitely be paying more attention to this in the future.

Everything about the company is terrible. THe only thing that happened correctly was receiving our order of a single item. They tried billing, without approval exorbitant membership fees, which caused us to cancel a credit card and challenge the charges. Then, actually paying for the item was handled poorly, taking excessive time and continually having to repeat information. Basically, TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THI COMPANY.

I have never had a problem with this company until now. I ordered 3 gnomes. (my birthday present to myself.) I received my package and there were only 2 in the package. I tried contacting them by their phone number, I got no one, phone just kept ringing. So I sent an email. The reply I received was we'll get back to you. That was 3 days ago. Have heard nothing yet. I just want the item I paid for.

I am unfortunately very displeased with Lakeside Collection!!! We placed an order on August 30th. We received a confirmation number but nothing further as to the status of the shipment. I called this morning to research with the Customer Service Department and they coudn't find any order at all. They had our address but no order! I asked the Rep (Marichal) to please forward an email to my husband stating they could not find the order so my husband's pending credit charge could be cancelled and she said she is not allowed to do that. I then asked to speak to a Supervisor and she coudn't help me either. She said if their is a pending charge then there must be an order. I reminded her that her Company already researched and they couldn't find an order!! Supervisor then stated they are upgrading the system. I told her that is B--l S--t! I asked if they have been upgrading system since 8/30? My husband's credit card company is pursuing a cancellation of the pending charge. The Supervisor suggested I call back Tuesday to place another order. I explained I will not ever be calling back. If they can charge and lose an order why should I give them a second opportunity to do the same!!
