“I agree with all the negative reviews. Years ago, I used Lakeside a lot. I have not ordered from them in several years, but I did recently. One of the items was not as advertised. I called customer service to send it back and was told I had to pay a return fee greater than what I paid for the item. What company these days charges a return fee?? So I just threw it in the garbage. No more Lakeside for me.”

“This company automatically signed me up for a $16.95/month subscription when I ordered something. I'm on a budget and I cannot afford this. I will be complaining to the Better Business Bureau and possibly my state attny general. What a ripoff!”

“LakesideCollection used 2 b a wondrful company, w/beautiful items & great customr srvice! But no more! Since being undr new ownrship, they put previous customers accts in collections! & now u cant evn undrstand a word the reps are saying! U have 2 ask them 4-5 times to repeat themselves! All foreigners! & their new customr srvice reps cant evn accept my pymt! Mon-Fri 8am-1pm only! Nvr bothered telling us that tho! Cant pay ovr the phone nymore, have to do it thru a live prson in the collections dept now! Bc they changed their pay-by-phone numbr w/o bothering to tell us that eithr! Ive nvr been so frustrated trying to make a pymt! What a go-around u have to go thru now! I am a long-time customr who has spent thousands of dollars at this company! & ive NEVER been late on a pymt! But they threw my xcellent in collections like its trash! W/o evr evn having the courtesy to tell me! This long-time customr will nvr b a customr again! Im gonna still make my pymts, but when my balance is $0, its a final bye-bye! Never again will i go thru what ive had to go thru ovr the last 2 days! Just to make a pymt! What company wont accept ur monthly pymt!!? If i could rate this new ownrship, i'd give them a big fat zerrrro!!!”

“BEWARE.....This company, offers a "rebate" that you must sign up for. In the process of saying you want the "rebate" you supposedly agree to a subscription to a service that costs $16 .95 a month. They just start taking it out of your account and when you call they claim you "agreed" to it by clicking the box that says you get a $10 rebate. I have ordered from this company for many years, because I like the products and fast shipping. This deceptive business practice has caused them to lose a customer. I am sending back my order unopened. They claim they will refund my money in 4 weeks, even though I paid them immediately in good faith. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.”

“BUYER BEWARE OF LAKESIDE COLLECTIONS. THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS $14.95 A MONTH FOR LSCPERKS, WHICH I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THIS WAS. I GOT A MAGAZINE IN THE MAIL BROUGHT AND PAID FOR MY ORDER IN 2020 AND NEVER ORDERED FROM THEM AGAIN. COME TO FIND OUT I WAS GETTING CHARGED $14.95 A MONTH FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. THEY NEVER GOT A SIGNATURE FROM ME, I NEVER GOT A LETTER, TEXT, OR VOICE MAIL SAYING THAT I AGREE TO THEM TAKING THIS OUT OF MY CREDIT CARD. THEN I TRIED REACHING OUT TO THEM AND WAS BLOCKED!! I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS IS HAPPENING TO WITH THIS COMPANY, SO BEWARE, THEY WILL GET YOU WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT. PLUS THERE ITEMS ARE CHEAP QUALITY, NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. WILL BE GETTING IN CONTACT WITH OTHERS ABOUT THIS COMPANY INCLUDING THE BBB...”

“I ordered from them , the item was out of stock. Months later I received a check as refund, when I cashed it($6.24), it was returned, cost me $15 plus $6.24 for their closed account. NEVER doing business with them again and neither is my family.”

“This company used to be reliable and fun to order from. Now they are terrible, can't get what you ordered and the call I placed to customer service was a joke. I told the lady my problem, her response "sorry to hear that". They are useless and won't ever answer an email. Will not order from them again unless I feel the need to be ripped off.”

“On May 7 I ordered a sofa table with outlets; I received couple emails advising it was 'in process' to be shipped. I was able to find the same thing on Amazon which I ordered; 3 emails to Lakeside advising them to cancel the order (no acknowledgement other than auto response); 4 phone calls to them advising them to cancel ("customer service" advised that couldn't be done). June 8 it was delivered and the amount deducted from my checking account. I immediately took the item back to FedEx to have it returned. In the past I have had good luck with this company but I absolutely will never do business with them again. And as far as customer service, they have none.”

“Placed an order in April called to check on it they said they could not find any order from me. I ordered the item from someone else then out of the blue I get a email saying my order has shipped. Received it 5/23 called to get refund they said could not send return FedEx label were out of them and don't know when they will get. So now I have to pay to have it shipped back. This company should shut there doors nothing but a rip off. Do not order anything from here.”

“Have been waiting 15 days for them to send FedEx prepaid return label which I requested via e-mail. Their phone number for RETURNS is NEVER answered and hangs up on you. Today I tried their general Customer Service number which entertained me with recordings but no answer. I have been a customer for several years and received many fun products at good prices; however, NO MORE. I had no idea until the last month and a half that Lakeside Collection Customer Service was so completely crappy. I will never order from them again.”

“If I could give a negative 1 star I would. A few months ago I sent away for 2 items and yet only got one. Both items were the same, just different colors 1 for me one for my husband. I received the one for my husband last week, but mine still hasn't arrived. Plus this isn't the first time today I've been on hold with them, I've tried twice before this today alone. If they can't be trusted to ship the entire order. What makes me think that they can be trusted to operate a phone. The definitely lost my business.”

“STEER CLEAR - THEY'RE NO GOOD. I enjoyed shopping with Lakeside but they have recently become completely unreliable. I placed 2 orders on the same day (April 10) - one for $130apx and 1 for $23apx. On May 7 my card was charged for the smaller order, not for the larger order. I got an email that it was shipped, but the link provided to track it was a dead link. I tried to copy/paste the tracking number into FedEx, UPS, and USPS tracking and nothing was found. On May 10 (a month after I placed the order) nothing had arrived, so I called Lakeside several times, and sat on hold for at least 40 mins. per call. No one ever picked up. While looking for other phone numbers to call for help, I realized I had been blocked out of the Lakeside Perks website and was completely unable to get thru to anyone for assistance. I sent several emails to Lakeside Collection requesting assistance to no avail. Because I was not able to get help accessing my Lakeside Perks account, I had to cancel my credit card that Lakeside Perks was charging me monthly on, and get a new one. I don’t know what’s going on with this company, but even as I type this review, I continue to get advertising emails from them as if nothing is going on. I’m confused and frustrated. I give up. I quit Lakeside Collection and Lakeside Perks. Their customer service sucks so bad that there is no sale or no item cute enough to do business with a company that has exhibited this amount of failure and refuses to answer their phones let alone answer for their mistakes. Just for good measure, before I posted this complaint, I tried to call their customer service again (about the Perks account) and have been sitting on hold for 56 minutes at this point.”

“I too ordered from them, I couldn’t reach them, like everyone else my calls dropped, so I googled and learned they filed bankruptcy on 4-11 their website was gone, I immediately called my bank and stopped the transaction, now this morning I’m getting new ads in my email from them”

“Customer service hangs up on you no matter which option you pick , no way to get a hold of them , they emailed that my order was shipped on 03/23 still not here can’t use tracking number”
