I had bought a mattress from Land of Beds in the beginning of 2019 for my mother and she had gone through a back surgery some time ago. I have bought this after doing all the research work about a nice comfortable mattress but my mistake was not checking reviews about Land of Beds as the way they initially deal with their customers is very nice and polite but just after passing one year by the beginning of 2020 the mattress start giving very bad pain and discomfort. And when I tried to contact their customer services they said I need to send photos of base of bed and mattress along with a form which I need to fill, and they will update me after asking assistance from the mattress manufacturer. After I sent all of these things when I call them, one of the female advisor said in photos its looking absolutely fine so the mattress's manufacturer has refused to give any exchange or refund and after that they did not reply any of my emails despite of saying they will email me or call me back but they have never returned my calls or replied to any of my emails even they have said they are not receiving my emails anymore. And they keep refusing to accept any liability of exchanging the mattress even my mattress was under 5 years warranty. Then they asked me to book an appointment for an expert to check my mattress after paying £66 and if their advisor could not find any fault in mattress then they will not return £66 fee back. I have clearly mentioned to the female advisor that your expert needs to sleep on the mattress rather than just inspecting it otherwise he cant find any fault in it because it's the matter of feeling it not just looking at it. In a nutshell a horrible experience with this fraud and crafty Land of Beds. I will never recommend this company to anyone. We ended up sleeping on a faulty and shabby mattress.

Ordered mattress and offer included 2 free Memory Foam pillows. Mattress arrived August....still awaiting the pillows.Rubbish customer service even bearing in mind Covid restrictions.

We ordered a bed and mattress, received bed but no mattress. 18?weeks later after being offered Relyon not Hypnos as ordered due to parts we still haven’t received it. Meant to come today between 7 to 11 was phoned a 9.45 to say the van wasn’t road worthy, maybe Saturday. Thoroughly disgusted. Hung out to dry took money quick enough.

Had a £500 mattress in June. By September it was saggy in the middle. Contacted them an a man came to look at it. He said it had to be 4cm dip to be deemed faulty and it was only 3cm then(probably more now) Land of beds then said they would not consider it as not bad enough so now we have a mattress we cant use . Rubbish customer service , wont use them again

I would not recommend this company to anyone who values even half-decent customer service. From my experience, they are misleading their customers without offering essential after-sale support and therefore mis-selling expensive products. I ordered a rather pricey mattress from them online (Covid-19 time so visiting a shop wasn't practical). Before completing the purchase I wanted to confirm the mattress was returnable if it wasn't suitable (we all know mattress preferences are quite specific and particular). So I looked on their website, under the "Returns" tab which reads "We want you to be 100% satisfied with everything you buy from Land of Beds. If you would like to return an item to us you may do so within 14 days of receiving it". This was conclusive enough for me to place my order in confidence that I would be able to return it if necessary. After just a few hours of uncomfortable sleep it was clear that the mattress I'd bought wasn't firm enough for my bad back so removed it from my bed, repackaged it and contacted the retailer to arrange an exchange. To my horror, I was told they don't accept returns if it has been opened. Had I known this I would never have bought from them in the first place. I asked why this wasn't made clear on their website, and in fact why their website illuded to the opposite (quoted above). Their reply was both defensive and impersonal, stating that I had agreed to their expanded terms which make mention of the "no return once opened" policy. After some investigation, I discovered that said 'expanded terms' was actually a 13-page legal document hidden within the illusive realm of their website which had clearly been engineered to absolve Land of Beds of their customer service duties and responsibilities. Furthermore, I doubt anyone barring the lawyer who wrote these terms has ever actually read them in full. I tried reasoning with their customer services department both over the phone and via email, but they continued to show zero compassion or understanding and just kept pointing me back to their legal loophole. They even had the audacity to tell me, after refusing to take the first mattress back, that they are willing to help by selling me a second firmer mattress. I'll leave it up to you to figure out what my response was. In a nutshell, there are much more reasonable, well-priced and customer service orientated retailers out there who offer a supremely better service to people who are about to spend a lot of money on mattresses, and most do actually accept mattress returns. With so many better options out there, don't bother wasting your time with Land Of Beds. P.S. I now have a fancy mattress which has only been slept on for 4 hours, free to a good home!

I wanted to return mattress within the 14 day period as not suitable for my disability needs. land of beds refused coz I had slept on it???? In order to try it you gave to sleep on it right?. I'm furious, I will never buy from them again

Avoid avoid !!!! My mattress failed within 3 weeks land of beds werent interested. I had to pay for a company to inspect it which they failed the mattress but land of beds weren't interested an still wouldn't issue refund. Customer service and 1 particular person Maria Jones is very very rude and a know it all with a despicable attitude. I was lucky I paid on my credit card an they took the money from land of beds so be warned people be very careful or just avoid an go else where !!!

Delivery was late. There was a massive dent in one of the bars, a hair painted into the finish and the best bit of all the MAIN piece to hold it all together was missing. Now waiting more days for them to deliver a new piece. I would never use this company again.

When we ordered our new bed we was mis-led into thinking we was getting a complete bed,we have just spent nearly a £1000! With the company and when our bed arrived today there was no headboard included as the pictures had showed us when buying this product......gutted and felt we was conned!,when contacting the sales team we was informed if we wanted to purchase the headboard this would be a further £550 absolutely shocking!.won't be doing any further business after this is paid for.

Horrendous experience. Worst customer service I have ever had. Didn't deliver my bed frame for a month and only told me it had been discontinued after days of chasing. Sent me a rolled up mattress separately. Initially said I was not allowed a refund on a mattress which I no longer required since I had no bed!!! Then said I could drive to Wigan myself to return the mattress!!!! Finally they agreed to pick up the mattress after questioning this lack of returns policy. Withheld my money for 6 weeks. I could go on and on. If you don't want to be stressed and have money stolen from you then AVOID!!

Don’t trust this company! They send you beds 3 months down the line without headboards and then claim You have to pay for them separately, so basically what you see in the picture is not what you get, just a base and a mattress! They also was not apologetic nor sympathetic, basically have said its my fault, also there was not an option for the headboard so it’s clearly false advertising and a scam to get more money out of you, because the whole reason on picking a bed is the nice headboard you see in the pictures.

Avoid!!!!!!! 7 weeks waiting for a spare part 7 weeks of poor excuses Multiple days waiting for deliveries that never come. Waiting for phone calls that never get returned!!!

Please do not use this company. We have recently had a bad experience with them and would not recommend them to anyone. There were significant delays with our order and we were left hanging throughout with no communications. We were given a number of delivery dates which not only didn't materialise but most of which they didn't even let us know that they were cancelled! We then started to worry about the length of time that had gone by but when we contacted them we were never given any kind of explanation for the delay and were promised calls from a manager that never happened. We were not pro actively contacted by them. We then made a written complaint because we were totally in the dark about what was happening and we were so upset about the cancellations. The complaint was totally ignored. We chased it up and were eventually told that we had been given a meagre amount of money, which was stated in an email that we had agreed to. We hadn't even been offered it, never mind given a chance to agree it! No apology and no response to our actual issues. We had to yet again chase them for an explanation as to why this happened and to give them another chance to respond to our actual complaint which was again totally unsuccessful. Their attitude towards us once they had our money, which was by the way quite a significant amount, was total disinterest and we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience at best. Never again.

READ 11.2 SECTION B (Return Policy) Before you buy your mattress. You can not exchange and not return I have bough 2 Dunlopillo Millennium mattress for adjustable bed 75x200 and delivered on the 13/03/2020. As a front- Stomach sleeper I have suffered with backache since using the mattress on day one.Find this mattress too soft for front sleeper. Called on the 17/03/2020 and 18/03/2020. Spoken two different customer service ladies for EXCHANGE to Firm one to Dunlopillo Orchid mattress. But they rejected. by saying I removed the plastic cover for that reason we are unable to exchange. My 96 years of elderly also saying too soft. I would have given 5 star Because of exchange policy I am giving you 1 star. READ 11.2 SECTION B Before you buy your mattress. Mr.Kamer Calik

Buyers beware do not purchase anything if you are not satisfied and consider the item to be poor quality they will not accept it back and if they do they will make you pay for the item to be returned which if it is a bed will cost you as much as the bed customer service is very rude I work in a massive company in customer service and if I spoke to the customers the way they spoke to me I would have been sacked please don't make the same mistake I made or you end up like me upset and very unhappy and wasted over five hundred pounds

I purchased a mattress end of last year. Nearly £800. The old saying “ you get what you pay for “ unfortunately not in this case. After a month we were in agony. Phoned land of beds to complain. I was told give it time. It’s like a new pair of shoes, it has to wear in. After a few more weeks we were not sleeping. The mattress was terrible. Phoned land of beds again, An engineer was sent to look at, it was faulty. Beginning of the year, phoned again. Please could i have a refund ? Oh no we don’t do refunds, you have to have another mattress. I don’t want another mattress from you. I don’t want to be in this situation again, not sleeping, in agony. I have been prescribed painkillers. So after weeks of sleeping in a chair & husband on the settee we managed to save enough to buy another mattress from another store. We are working people & need to sleep. The new mattress from Land of beds was ordered beginning of January. It is now March.We have not received the unwanted mattress yet. We are still out of pocket. We had to pay out again. I hope to be refunded the difference when the Hypnos mattress arrives & the faulty one is taken away. I don’t know what i am going to do with this expensive mattress i don’t want. Sadly i can’t do anything about it. I don’t know who to speak to or who can help me. The whole situation has been awful. I am really unhappy. I do not recommend Land of beds to anyone. I wouldn’t like anyone else in my situation. I will be pleased when the faulty Hypnos mattress has gone from my living room. It’s been standing there for weeks. Customer service are useless. Rude. Don’t care attitude. One lady was ok her name was Wendy. There was nothing she could do to help though. Avoid this company at all costs.

1 star: Bad Updated 2 days ago Faulty product and dreadfully shocking poor after sales service. Avoid avoid avoid. PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH Land of Beds. I purchased a Hypnos mattress from Land of Beds for nearly a thousand pounds. I ordered a firm mattress because I have always had firm mattress’s. After sleeping on it for a short period it became evident it was medium tension. I contacted Land of Beds customer services and requested an exchange or refund. No chance. They spent a great deal of time worming out of it. In the end they said it was the fault of the bed frame. Slats had to be no more than 7cm apart. Mine was 10cm. So the bed frame was at fault by 3cm.....! Quite unbelievable evasion of responsibilities. It’s fair to say I won’t be purchasing anything from Land of Beds in the future. Product was clearly faulty, customer services would come up with any old excuse not to exchange or offer a refund, not even a partial one. Completely unhelpful. Avoid LoB. I did get in touch with Land of Beds as requested and spoke to customer services I was assured she would take matters further by speaking to management in an effort to resolve the issue. It's been over a week and still no contact from them. So, it's become quite evident I've paid £997 for a faulty mattress and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Land of beds pay lip service to after sales matters. My recommendation after a very expensive and bad experience is to avoid this company. The reader will see Land of Beds have reported my review. They clearly don't appreciate fair and accurate criticism. This underlines my point about shabby after sales service. Shockingly poor. I make no apology for this harsh but accurate review. I have contacted Land of Beds as they requested, but they have not called me back. They have refused to enter into dialogue and deal with my complaint. Once they have been paid they don't want to know.

Mattress absolutely no use for our bed ,haven’t even slept on the mattress but they will not take it back and refund as I have taken it out of the packaging.rubbish customer service and a costly mistake.even managed to drop it off in someone else’s shed rather than take down correct address.no refund!!

Would not recommend this company purchased to dunloppillow beds under four years ago ones base has collapsed one side the excuse too much sitting on the base but the bed is not fit for purpose as it’s supposed to be slept on it is clearly not value for the high price of two thousand pounds I paid they have refused to replace it saying it’s not faulty its under an eight year guarantee which they are not honouring will not be using this company ever again
