Please do not buy anything from this company. The customer service is very poor and not helpful infact it is appallling. We bought a superking mattress £1000 a swap old for new. We paid £39 for the old mattress removing. The delivery men would not take the new mattress upstairs stating it would not fit up the stairs and left it in our hall way and took our old mattress away, so We had no place to sleep. Nicola in customer services was argumentative and appeared to have very little knowledge of the products being sold by the company she is employed by. She advised that the old mattress was folded by the delivery men to be removed? (This is not possible a superking mattress is too large and bulky to be folded). We asked for a refund of the £39 plus further costs to us due to having to get a third party firm to take the new mattress upstairs. This has been declined . Nicola,s solution was to get another mattress a zip link that would take 2-3 weeks to be delivered when We asked where we were supposed to sleep during this time she did not know. We have sent numerous emails requesting answers to the issues but have had no joy. Nicola replies with photos taken by the delivery men which she says show the new mattress been attempted to go upstairs, the mattress was only placed on the first step and they have no moving and handling equipment, stated they could not do it as they would risk hurting their backs. These deliveries are what they are employed to do. They are not members of the Ombudsman service or even registered therefore We cannot pursue an official complaint so We are leaving negative reviews with as many sites as possible advised prospective customers not to buy from them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - they are not a member of the Furniture Ombudsman and when things go wrong it is VERY difficult to resolve the matter. Even Relyon are dreadful - IF you are daft enough to order REMEMBER you have to return within 14 days otherwise you have no chance. We have lost £1200 on two mattresses and as Senior Citizens this is a lot for us. We were told mattresses have an 11 week bedding in period so it makes a laughing stock of returns within 14 days!! Also don't forget Charge back if you paid with Visa debit/credit. 2600 springs have collapsed and we are light weights. Nicola the customer Service Manager must not be able to sleep at night and having read other reviews feel sure she must have a very hard skin!

I had bought a mattress from Land of Beds in the beginning of 2019 for my mother and she had gone through a back surgery some time ago. I have bought this after doing all the research work about a nice comfortable mattress but my mistake was not checking reviews about Land of Beds as the way they initially deal with their customers is very nice and polite but just after passing one year by the beginning of 2020 the mattress start giving very bad pain and discomfort. And when I tried to contact their customer services they said I need to send photos of base of bed and mattress along with a form which I need to fill, and they will update me after asking assistance from the mattress manufacturer. After I sent all of these things when I call them, one of the female advisor said in photos its looking absolutely fine so the mattress's manufacturer has refused to give any exchange or refund and after that they did not reply any of my emails despite of saying they will email me or call me back but they have never returned my calls or replied to any of my emails even they have said they are not receiving my emails anymore. And they keep refusing to accept any liability of exchanging the mattress even my mattress was under 5 years warranty. Then they asked me to book an appointment for an expert to check my mattress after paying £66 and if their advisor could not find any fault in mattress then they will not return £66 fee back. I have clearly mentioned to the female advisor that your expert needs to sleep on the mattress rather than just inspecting it otherwise he cant find any fault in it because it's the matter of feeling it not just looking at it. In a nutshell a horrible experience with this fraud and crafty Land of Beds. I will never recommend this company to anyone. We ended up sleeping on a faulty and shabby mattress.

1 star: Bad Updated 2 days ago Faulty product and dreadfully shocking poor after sales service. Avoid avoid avoid. PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH Land of Beds. I purchased a Hypnos mattress from Land of Beds for nearly a thousand pounds. I ordered a firm mattress because I have always had firm mattress’s. After sleeping on it for a short period it became evident it was medium tension. I contacted Land of Beds customer services and requested an exchange or refund. No chance. They spent a great deal of time worming out of it. In the end they said it was the fault of the bed frame. Slats had to be no more than 7cm apart. Mine was 10cm. So the bed frame was at fault by 3cm.....! Quite unbelievable evasion of responsibilities. It’s fair to say I won’t be purchasing anything from Land of Beds in the future. Product was clearly faulty, customer services would come up with any old excuse not to exchange or offer a refund, not even a partial one. Completely unhelpful. Avoid LoB. I did get in touch with Land of Beds as requested and spoke to customer services I was assured she would take matters further by speaking to management in an effort to resolve the issue. It's been over a week and still no contact from them. So, it's become quite evident I've paid £997 for a faulty mattress and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Land of beds pay lip service to after sales matters. My recommendation after a very expensive and bad experience is to avoid this company. The reader will see Land of Beds have reported my review. They clearly don't appreciate fair and accurate criticism. This underlines my point about shabby after sales service. Shockingly poor. I make no apology for this harsh but accurate review. I have contacted Land of Beds as they requested, but they have not called me back. They have refused to enter into dialogue and deal with my complaint. Once they have been paid they don't want to know.

Our purchase from Land of beds was a heavy, costly and uncomfortable mistake. This is a lesson in why you need to try before you buy. We bought a bed with two mattresses which join together, with a total weight of 103.6 pound or 47 kilos. These beds are being sold without any Health and Safety warning that they are MUCH too heavy for an ordinary couple to turn and rotate, let alone weekly for three months as Hypnos says in its brochure - but is NOT in L of B advertising. Splitting the two beds and mattresses is difficult and we can’t easily do it. We were sold on the claims about Hypnos beds being the world’s most comfortable, award winning bed, blah. In fact, the bed we bought is not nearly as comfortable as the four other beds we have, despite us being assured by Land of Beds that “medium” meant the same as it means on our existing beds, by Relyon and Vi-Spring, which cost a lot less and were far easier to turn. We paid £1,804 for a Hypnos Super King Size zip and link bed plus £626.00 for the two headboards which are pushed together. We paid on May 29TH. My wife made the point that we needed delivery urgently as seven guests were arriving on June 30th to stay for up to a month. We were promised delivery updates which we never got. The bed arrived on July 8th and we immediately realized it was hard and uncomfortable: we would not describe it as “medium.” However, because we were busy with guests we did not complain about the bed and ask for our money back and the bed to be removed until three weeks later, when our guests had left –but Land of Beds said we had waited a week too long -21 days. I quote from L of B director Maria Murray: “after this period of time we are not able to accept the return of the bed.” Rival bed manufacturers and retailers like Dormeo, advertise that they offer unhappy customers their money back after up to 60 days. We found every aspect of this bed unsatisfactory and too heavy and awkward for us to manage. It was not possible for us, both in our 70s, to take it apart and put it together again as this involved laying on the flood and fiddling around with a spanner under the bed. A terrible design. Turning the mattresses was not possible for us, and they do not even have handles you can use for this purpose, unlike every other bed we own. The bed is so heavy that the handles are for use only to rotate the mattress, not turn it. These beds should not be sold to anyone without them being warned of the weight problem. Also, we were not told on purchase that the mattress should not be vacuumed as this would damage the upholstery, as per the advice in the brochure which arrived with the bed. We have always vacuumed our mattresses with no harm to the upholstery. In fact we have seen documentaries stating that people must vacuum mattresses to get rid of dust mite faeces. Yet the Hypnos brochure says just to brush it with a soft brush, which cannot be as effective. We regard our purchase from Land of Beds as the worst, most expensive, heavyweight mistake we have made.

Never touch Land Of Beds. Their prices might be the lowest but so is their customer service if something goes wrong. They are terrible to try and resolve. We had issues with a Hypnos bed and they were unhelpful that although Hypnos agreed to change the bed Land of Beds made it impossible to comply with their terms of returns being accepted back into their warehouse. If you should be unluckily enough to have a problem then with Land of beds you simply are going to have major problem. Go elsewhere who have a reputation of putting their customers first and not their greedy owner’s bank balances. Never ever consider Land of Beds they simply are the worst retailer of the year. Staff turnover here very quickly too.

I am writing to let you know my experience regarding a recent purchase from "Land of Beds" for a brand new Tempur Super King size bed. After the bed was delivered (It has been delay after delay). We received the bed with 2 very important parts of the bed faulty. The problem was not minor but was a big mismatch that wouldn't allow to set up the bed correctly, headboard not made to the correct size to match both side panels and one of 2 foot panel screws was completely damaged! They do not have parts available ex-stock for replacement and need to wait for another 5-7 weeks until they produce those. We have asked "Land of Beds" at least to take the responsibility and deliver the replacements inside the bedroom but they refused and said that they can only deliver at the front door and cannot offer further service. I explained that we have paid an extra of £290.00 to move in the bed into our bedroom through the window and we would like them to take responsibility and deliver/collect replacement/faulty parts from our bedroom but this request was rejected. Note that we didn't ask for, or offered any kind of compensation we only asked Land of Beds to take the responsibility and rectify the issue that one bed is still incomplete! Land of Beds, I am dissatisfied with the service that you have provided at this time and I find this unacceptable, I didn't buy a used bed but a brand new one!

Beware you DONT get what you ordered! If I could give Land of Beds NO stars at all I would! Their Customer Care Supervisor is simply not interested in resolving a genuine customer complaint or reaching amicable agreement either! . Land of Beds did NOT supply me the bed I ordered, this new bed was ordered online and in good faith I trusted their Senior Sales Consultant to help me with the purchase of this new bed, much needed because my husband is recovering from head and neck cancer and wanted a larger super king bed with a slightly softer mattress than the one, we currently have so it was a little kinder. We have purchased bed products on 4 separate occasions as a family from Land of Beds and never ever will I ever buy another bed/ product from them again, because quite simply; you Do Not get what you ordered! We already have a top of the range Millbrook 3000 Enchantment King-size Divan Bed at a cost of just under £2,000, with a medium tension mattress purchased 6 years ago. In addition, and based on my recommendation; my daughter also bought exactly the same Millbrook 3000 Enchantment Divan Bed, but in super king with a soft tension mattress 3 years ago. Therefore, following on from lots of conversations with Land of Beds Senior Sales Consultant, and after double checking that a New Millbrook 3000 Enchantment Super King Divan Bed was exactly the same as the one I currently have ,?? Instructed that ‘yes its exactly the same’ there is no change’. Oh, great so I knew exactly what I was getting then, no need to try one out in the showroom because I tried my daughter’s bed ,so I knew exactly what I was getting and the expected comfort level. So based on this information I also ordered a Millbrook 3000 Enchantment King Size Divan Bed for my disabled 78-year-old father , he had tried my bed out first and therefore knew exactly what he was getting. Or so we thought!! The beds arrive a number of weeks later and not only are they both damaged, but they are not the same bed either. We waited an additional few weeks for the replacements to arrive, this time undamaged, but again they are not the same bed and therefore the comfort level is entirely different and sadly way too soft for my husband and my disabled father, so I complain. An Engineer from Millbrook is sent to my home to inspect and confirm that the beds are manufactured differently? ‘Yes’, he confirms the beds are manufactured differently, hence why they feel totally different and the reason why the comfort level is reduced. The quality is simply not there, why because the original bed base is of coli and slat construction and the new bed base coil only. So, they are different! Land of Beds came back to me stating that there was’’ no fault’ with the beds therefore I am not entitled to a replacement. I never said that there was a fault!!, my compliant solely related to the fact that I simply did NOT get what I had actually ordered. They responded saying its ‘comfort issue’ only therefore you are not entitled to a replacement. I did NOT get what I had actually ordered. I tried to reason and was hopeful we could reach an amicable resolution, even though I didn’t agree with their comment and felt I had indeed been’ mis-sold’ and that they had altered the website information to, ‘for illustration purposes only’ after I complained. Their Customer Care Supervisor is simply not interested in resolving a genuine customer complaint. The response I received: 2.8 Our website, catalogue and brochure are solely for the promotion of Our Goods in the UK. Their content does not form part of the contract between Us and you. The images on the web site are for illustration purpose only. In particular, the colour of the Goods may differ in reality from their representation on any website, catalogue or brochure. Similarly, patterns of material may vary, in particular those of mattress covers. So, there you go confirmation that you ‘don’t actually get what you ordered and they don’t care!’ This new bed cost over £2,500 which neither of us can sleep on because it’s so uncomfortable. Land of Beds let me down, I trusted them, what you see on their website and what you are told by their senior sales advisor actually means ‘ you don’t get what you ordered’! All this additional stress over a new bed for goodness’s sake ! Never written a bad review about any company before and this is sad ,however the customer service received from Land of Beds or lack of , then this review is well deserved.

Great service when purchasing a £1600 bed, staff so very helpful and knowledgeable BUT the mattress is uncomfortable as I can feel the clips holding the buttons on. I bought the bed in February and complained within a few weeks. They won’t do anything unless I pay £50 to them for sending someone out to look at the issue. Disgraceful after service.

I want to send my memory mattress back to them, but they send forms in an email which I can’t fill as it doesn’t open. Very disappointed with the response I get from land of beds. Also I know I ordered a 17 cm depth mattress and got a 14 cm instead on their count down sale. Buy from the actual manufacturer not land of beds.

READ 11.2 SECTION B (Return Policy) Before you buy your mattress. You can not exchange and not return I have bough 2 Dunlopillo Millennium mattress for adjustable bed 75x200 and delivered on the 13/03/2020. As a front- Stomach sleeper I have suffered with backache since using the mattress on day one.Find this mattress too soft for front sleeper. Called on the 17/03/2020 and 18/03/2020. Spoken two different customer service ladies for EXCHANGE to Firm one to Dunlopillo Orchid mattress. But they rejected. by saying I removed the plastic cover for that reason we are unable to exchange. My 96 years of elderly also saying too soft. I would have given 5 star Because of exchange policy I am giving you 1 star. READ 11.2 SECTION B Before you buy your mattress. Mr.Kamer Calik

WARNING of faulty returns policy WARNING check the reviews on faulty goods dont rely on the review scores.  This is the worst retail experience we have ever had. Faulty mattress delivered within 2 weeks despite an advertised lead time of 42 days. Customer Service refused to acknowledge fault and abide by their returns policy despite it being reported the very same day it was delivered. We were told to wait 12 weeks for settling issues but the mattress was faulty and not settling issues. After weeks of debate they only agreed to replace the faulty mattress after we wrote to the Managing Director. The replacement mattress (which we understood are supposed to be made to order) appeared in their store after less than 3 weeks but had a dirty mark on it so they tried to persuade us to still have it with a small reduction. It was only when we refused another faulty mattress as a replacement that they agreed to refund us. So its two months later and we have finally received the refund. What an awful experience. We will never buy from Land of Beds again. We should have read their reviews before purchasing. The average score look pretty good but when you look at the detail many poor reviews give specific information but on the other hand many excellent scores not much detail so if the product is good happy days but if any fault at all then good luck!

This must be the worst company that I’ve ever dealt with! It’s taken 14 weeks to replace a mattress that was damaged when delivered with one that was acceptable. Customer services only respond when you chase them, every excuse under the sun. Didn’t even get an email or phone call to check that the 4th mattress was ok, and was promised “a gesture”of goodwill, can’t see that happening anytime soon! Save your money and spend it elsewhere is my advice.

Excellent service when buying, But beware; If product is faulty (even if it is quite obvious that there is a fault) then they will wish to send what they call an 'independent' technician to assess the product. The issue is, that this technician is seemingly not as 'independent' as Land of Beds wish to claim. Obviously, being hired privately by Land of Beds, the technician is well aware, that should he/she make to many decisions in the favour of customer's claim, then Land of Beds may in the future decide to use a different technician. After the technician's visit (I have not yet been given the day/time of visit) I hope to update this review.
