This was very expensive £50 to get 2 documents

Despite me trying to only buy the written entry it conspired to charge me for the map as well by asking more than once in a confusing way. I didn't seem to get the map anyway, so complete rip off. Beyond that the cost is excessive for a fully automated data base search. This is more than it costs to have a will stored by the records office! It needs to be privatized with competition.

there should have been a plan with this - no way to contact the land registry to get them to put it right - or complain

I can confirm that your order 667373 was for the Title Register. The Title plan was not included in this order. If you would like, i can guide you on how to place an order for the Title Plan. Title Register - £24.95 shows ownership of property or land, a description and restrictive covenants, if available. We recommend buying the Title Plan too which gives a visual indication of the registered land. Title Plan - £24.95 visual representation of the property or land in a registered title. We recommend buying the Title Register as well, which describes the plan. Conveyancing Pack - £44.95 the pack contains all available; Lease Deeds, Transfer Deeds, Conveyancing Deeds and Charges available, which are filed against the selected property or land. Please add in the comments below if you require a specific document.

Hi paid over £50 to get the register showing only 1 document on file - my mortgage document which I obviously knew about! Subsequently, I have been advised that there was a charging order on the property which was the purpose of paying for the check in the first place. It appears to have been a complete waste of money to get this report. Very dissapointed customer.

Expensive, the information was outdated and so wrong, that information came fast, but wrong!, I paid more for a quick reply. The added information was not available and I didn't get an full refund. In the world of Ai one would expect tip top, correct and up to date details. A worthless exercise, which my solicitors insist they will have to chase up themselves due to the information I've given them. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Hi, Sorry to hear that you received the wrong document. Your correct documents has now been re-sent to you. Please note that the conveyance pack you ordered was unfortunately unavailable, and a refund has been issued to you for this item .

I was promised detailed information about matters such as boundary walls. All I got was a brief, uni formative note plus a sketchy drawing. No detail was supplied. Because I didn't get what was promised first time I tried another document. That was equally useless. So, having paid 2x £24 I had completely wasted my money. I would hope for a refund as, on two occasions, I didn't get what you promised!

I requested an expidited copy of my properties registration documents only to be sent detaikls of the wrong property. So I had to raise a query which then meant I did not get the right details until the following day so I missed my deadline with my property agent. I requested that my expedition fee of £10 (an additional cost!) be refunded as this servcie was not met for me. However, to date nothing has been forthcoming.

Complete rip-off. Charged £50 for documents that can be obtained for £6 directly (and instantly) from the real Land Registry. Don't be fooled by their sponsored advertisement on Google

I actually paid £59.80 for three sheets of paper, A4 size, it actually didn’t tell me anything. I was expecting a full report. All I wanted to do is find out which side of the fence is mine. Can I go on your website and find out without paying again? Thank you, Anthony Farrugia Mr PS, I would appreciate an answer. 10/9/25 I’m still waiting for a response, from you I think £59 £.80 was too much for three sheets of paper

Unfortunately, in England or Wales, there's often no record of who owns the hedge, wall, tree or fence between a property unless specified in the deeds. We can’t tell you exactly where your legal boundary is, as the title plans show general boundaries. The information is based on large-scale Ordnance Survey mapping and is generalised to some degree. For instance, it may not show small juts in the boundary or bay windows. Unfortunately, we can’t tell you which boundary feature you are responsible for either, though some registers may refer to this. If you want to check if any boundary information is registered with HM Land Registry, you can get a copy of the title register, title plan, and any ‘filed’ deeds they have for your own property and your neighbour's property. A deed plan may refer to measurements but these have to be interpreted, as the land may not be level and you don’t know where they were measured from or how. People often think they are responsible for the left (or right) hand boundary wherever they live, but there isn’t any legal basis for this. Sometimes deeds lodged with HM Land Registry when the property is first register the property may have information about it, in which case it may be mentioned in the register. In a lot of cases though, the deeds make no mention. Then there are cases where the deeds refer to ‘T’ marks on a plan and include wording such as ‘to maintain the boundaries marked with an inward facing T mark’. Larger developments tend to have some indication provided by the builder, but there are no hard and fast rules. If you want to change an existing boundary, such as replacing an old fence with a new one, we always recommend discussing with your neighbour first and making sure it is all agreed. The registered titles can help you to reach an agreement, but only if this information has been added. If you have any further questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us at info@landregistryuk.co.uk

All I needed was a title deeds number, I ended up paying over £50 to get it included with the things I didn't need. It seems that the British public is at the mercy of the corrupt government and text man. Smaller businesses and individuals are being smothered with more and more complications and increased costs with taxes. What I have paid £50 for now would've cost me approximately £3 not too long ago. Where is our tax money going?

Firstly, although I provided the full, correct adfress & postcode, I was sent the details of a house in Wales (I live in Cumbria)... Then, after complaining, I was sent a plot that was my plot, but had the wrong house number assigned to my plot & no details about boundaries. I said that this was useless to me & asked for a refund, but have no reply. Why should I pay for a piece of paper with incorrect information on it ? It's useless. I can't use it for anything at all. I want my money back.
