“I feel I was ripped off. I paid over £100 for documents I could have got for free from the Land Registry itself. Under pressure from the estate agent I foolishly bought from this company without checking alternatives. I also added £44 for a conveyancing pack that didn’t seem to add any documents at all. This company is a fraud but I was a mug to use it. Avoid at all costs and go to the government website.”
“You charge £50.00 for the same report that only costs £7.00 when purchased from the official
government land registry - morally wrong and shouts misrepresentation”
“The website payment buttons on apple pay weren't clear and I ended up doing the transaction 3 x. I was debited 2 x. I emailed support and whislt the response was prompt, very good for a Sunday I thought it was very rude that I was told it was a 'gesture of good will' that I was being refunded. I also think the docs are now very, very expensive.”
“I ordered a title deed, title plan and a conveyancing pack. I didn't receive the pack (most expensive item). I have twice asked for a refund only to receive a confusing reply on both occasions.
I am left having to pursue this again or ombudsman follow-up. Shocking service when most is done digitally anyway and without effort.
I hope LR don't reply here as I won't know about it and it's a way to make them look like they wish to resolve the issue without actually doing anything.”
“Very quick service,but only had 1 of the 2 documents correct,the one that is wrong belongs to someone in Nottingham ,just found out you’re a 3 rd party and have charged me nearly 5 x what it would cost through the proper land registry ,no wonder you don’t reply to emails,rip off”
“I paid for paper copy of £10 as that was a option on email says you dont do paper copies so ypu took £10for something i cant have as has not been refunded, if you only do emails say that and remove paper copy option from web site.”
“Obviously positioned to fool people into believing they are accessing Gov website. Extortionate price compared to actual website. Avoid. Find the real gov website and save a fortune.”
