Poor initial communication until I managed to establish contact by email. Things then improved although the courier's, DX, failed to deliver on the agreed date despite our taking time off work. This was further compounded by their inability to make a phone call to ask where our house was so what was promised on Tuesday was finally delivered on Thursday.

OK but not great. We ordered a cube patio set and thought we'd take advantage of the interest free credit...only that function apparently wasn't working and they weren't able to offer it. I was told to check back - I did: the price had escalated. In fairness they gave me a discount but the price was still more that I could have paid at the time. The next day delivery wasn't - the goods weren't even dispatched until the day they should have arrived so I had to wait a week until I could next take delivery. I was promised an outdoor rug as a goodwill gesture and chose "Mocca" - I then got a phone call to say they didn't have any more Mocca so without asking they took it upon themselves to send me a cream rug which I would never have wanted. Overall, the price was good, the service was poor. Would I order from them again? Only if they were significantly cheaper than anywhere else. In summary: good price; poor to below average service.

Good afternoon Wayne, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, your 3 star review is appreciated despite the slight issue upon delivery. Our finance provider has had some ongoing issues in the past which meant we had to disable the finance option for a short period of time. The order itself just missed the 1pm cut off time after the national courier service had left, which meant this was dispatched 1 day later. The delivery was then unfortunately missed due to nobody being home to take in delivery the following day. We had then re-booked the delivery in with yourself for the following Saturday as you had requested. We would also like to apologise for the free rug not being available in your choice of colour, as we had to send the closest alternative to it. Kind regards, Leader Stores

They did not have enough packs to complete the order which was only 12 packs . I expected the delivery within 4 to 5 days . When it did not happen I rang to see where it was . It was then I was told they were waiting for more stock . They should have updated me with this info . Because it delayed the whole job and in total it took about 10 days to get the gear. Why are they advertising stock they do not have . I would have gone elsewhere if I had known the true stock position . My tenants were really inconvenienced . Poor service .

I bought two units which seemed good value based on the website description that they were solid oak. However when they arrived they were clearly not solid oak, not even oak veneer but poor quality pressed hardboard covered in an oak pattern melamine. The finished product looks quite good but isn't very good value considering the poor material. I note that the description has now changed to 'oak finish' but only after I had received my order.

Delivery arrived the day before advised date which meant I wasn't in to accept it and it was just left at the front door. This meant I didn't get the opportunity to examine it and as it turned out the item was marked in several places and rather grubby, Some of the marks have still not come off. Therefore somewhat disappointed with the quality.

The product I ordered was in turn ordered from manufacturer and they delivered the wrong item to Leaders. Following re-order I received the goods quickly. I feel Leaders could have let me know that through no fault of theirs there would be a delay. Instead I had to ring up after two weeks to inquire as to the state of my order. Otherwise the service was good and the product arrived in good condition.

Not that easy to order - had to call as delivery was 'on hold' - no one could really tell me why. Quality of door good but I needed to return it - the website suggested this was "no problem" however, I was advised to arrange sending it back myself and couldn't find a courier to take such a large item. I've now been in touch (3 times) so hope I might get some suggestions. Staff pleasant and prompt enough.

Was very helpful when I was canceling my order & on getting my money back it would take a few working days, still waiting up to this day to receive it & it's not been 3/4 weeks waiting for it

Very good quality product delivered and good packaging. Leader could have kept me better informed regarding estimated delivery lead times, as the item took 18 days from order to arrival.

the product is really good but the delivery is takes too long! I have got used to purchase things online, and immediately i get the confirmation and a copy of the payment but for you i did not get any! i had to ring you several times to ask about this and also to send you e-mails to ask when you will deliver. I was even worried and think may be is a scam online! You said the delivery it may takes from 7 to 10 days but for me was more that 10 days and you said nothing even to apologies for being delay!

Not happy as returned lampshade as the fitting was wrong. It's nearly two weeks and I haven't received my refund.

The items were sold at a fair price (compared to other suppliers) but the web pages at best lacked clarity and at worst were misleading in this regard as VAT was not included in the price on the main search pages displaying the items. I was also a bit annoyed post ordering in that I was immediately charged for the item despite the fact it was not then despatched for several days thereafter and as luck would have it the day after my order was placed the price was dropped by around £50, this reduction more than matched the "new customer first order discount" I received. When I called I was informed that "the order had been placed and despite the fat it had not been despatched nothing could be done" , save for I could "send the order back (at my cost) and then re-order". The item was then delivered without the associated "free rug" which I then had to call and e mail about, the rug eventually arrived the following week. So despite being fairly happy with the items themselves the experience was far from smooth sailing.

Good Afternoon David, Thanks a lot for the feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to do this. Regarding the original VAT pricing issue, I apologise for this. We've since located the cause of the issue (Some incorrect coding on the site) which has since been fixed to ensure this does not happen now. I apologise if the price had changed after you ordered the item, we always charge from the point of order, as do almost all sites that I can think of. The products are priced daily meaning prices can often change fast, depending on competitor pricing, and if customers inform us when they see a product cheaper elsewhere, we usually adjust prices to try and be cheapest. If you had highlighted this to the sales team they could have possibly refunded you the difference at the time, however we'd usually request that you do this immediately after finding out. Whilst the item we ordered showed as in stock, delivery in 5 working days it had not arrived after a week. I was then told it was held in waiting and would not be in UK for another couple of days. Eventually after nearly 2 weeks a delivery was arranged for Thursday and on Wednesday a mail arrived saying it would be delivered next day, however after waiting in all day it did not arrive until Friday morning. Not impressed.

The doors I ordered are very nice and decent quality for the price. I was a little disappointed with the delivery time as the website had said they would be delivered within 3 - 5 days but I phoned on the 5th day as I had not heard anything and I was told I would have to wait to be called to confirm the delivery date - they couldn't help me right then. The doors were finally delivered 5 days after that so it was a little disappointing as our builders needed them and this delayed us.

Service was good and as expected but quality of the product was overstated. Product (chest of drawers) didn't live up to expectations, it is very flimsy (although looks good) and poor drawer gliders with soft screws for fixing same. Therefore did not order more from the same set.

Really happy with products we bought but a little disappointed with delivery. Had to telephone to see when it would be delivered as it took longer than we were quoted.

The incorrect item was sent and after some disagreement with a member of staff, I managed to get someone to agree to deliver the correct item ordered but was impressed then with what was sorted and happy with sofa set
